Overall, great experiences for home buy,

Our field construction manager was quick to resolve any problems. He always communicated in a timely manner. Our overall experience was very good.

The quality of the house is very poor. There are a lot of issues inside the house. My field manager made me to sign the closing document and promised me that he will fix all issues in a week but it’s been 2 months. No one is addressing my issues. Paint is already coming off from walls. Even a small strain on the wall is not going when I rub on it. I paid 3000$ extra for painting. I am very much disappointed with this. There are a lot of squeaking noises in second floor. I am not sure if it is a structural issue or carpet issue. I dropped emails to my field manager and RDUWarranty but no one is willing to address my issue. I didn’t expect this from Pulte. They are losing their brand value. ... More

Never trust the builder for the words. if it is a legal document then they will do it. else it is just an eyewash. never sign anything if you are unhappy especially not on their words. they always over promise and under deliver. Phrases like " We will do it by next week"-- they never happen. Very painful experience...

Good jobs from sales to constructions

I felt that there was areas in the house where they didn’t take pride in there work.

Below are few items which are really worse than any other builders , poor walls , gaps between carpet and walls , columns not aligned properly , door locks not installed properly , many more , only best part in whole experience is Site supervisor , he was amazing and responsive , but if quality of house or material used is not good , what would supervisor do , I wouldn’t blame on him for sure ,, he is exceptionally good , worst part is creeking sounds all over the house , I personally suggested couple of my friends not to sign up for houses in upcoming pulte properties 55 at the park and Alexander drive . Overall I will give 1/5 for Centex for disappointing me with your quality of work ... More

It’s a great community

Buying a home is stressful and difficult. Building a home is just the same. If you go into the process expecting to experience stress because of the nature of the life event, you will be very satisfied with Centex (or any other Pulte-branded home). These people work so incredibly hard for their customers. It may not always seem so when you don't get a response to an email with a couple hours, however once you get into the process, you see your sales counselor at the sales center with back-to-back appointments and your field manager out on site walking multiple homes a day while also maintaining appointments with other customers, vendors and inspectors, you realize they really care about the quality of the home they build for their customers. Building a home is by no means a simple process comparable to picking out a brand of cereal to buy at the grocery store, however Centex makes it as easy and simple as they can within reason. The mortgage process (we used Pulte Mortgage Company) was also very simple and we always had a point of contact we could go to with concerns at any time. The follow-up experience from our field manager has been fantastic as well. He even notified us a month after closing (which is when all work should have been forwarded to the warranty department) that our range had a dent on the side (which wasn't visible when slid into the cabinetry) which he had previously forgotten about since our home was obtaining certificate of occupancy with that range. He forgot to replace it during that time and stopped by our home to check and let us know he'd be replacing it as soon as possible. The follow up and care for the homes in our neighborhood are superb and we could not be happier. The sales team, mortgage team, and construction team did a wonderful job setting expectations with us and fulfilling those expectations perfectly. There were no surprises and while the process was naturally stressful, as any home purchase would be, none of it was worth writing home about. We are very happy with our new home. ... More

Nothing is good. Not at all happy with quality

We're first time buyers and Centex provided us with the information we needed to make the best choice. They also provided us with optional financing for our home and worked with us to get us the mortgage firm we were looking for.

great Experience with center company

Carter is our field manager. He is always responsive and professional to our questions and paying attention to the details. He also gave us the first hand for the problems we had during the closing process. We are grateful that we had him. We really appreciated his work.

The builder was very responsive to the issues That I figured out after moving into the house. They resolved my issues very quickly and I was very satisfied with the customer service I got even after closing the house.

Best and prompt delivery

House is what was expected for a starter home, but materials and finishes are not great for how much was charged. Walls are very thin, paint is about the smallest amount that could have been applied to call the walls painted, paint missing from a number of corners of baseboard, trim not nailed down enough, sewer line broken after moving in. They were quick to address almost all blue tape items, which was nice to see

The building manager was great. He was willing to address any of my concerns.
