Overall very happy with Centex. The SmartHomes Salesman not so much. He is not honest, doesn't explain his product throughly and tried to price gouge us three times. The technicians should be selling this product as they are excellent. We will not recommend Smart Homes to anyone and will tell people not to use their products. Overall very happy with Centex and our new home.

We were able to view the home and any problems were noted and repaired before closing. Closing went well.

Great community with amazing amenities, I have found multiple issues for a new home, but all of them has been resolved by the amazing construction team.

The experience of being a first time buyer was great. However the paint job in the home could have been much better after moving in we noticed that paint was on the cabinets in the kitchen.

The floor is already cricking

Overall, it was an interesting, exciting, and an amazing experience; right from the first person I met to the last during walk through and closing were all impressive. Especially the young man we met in the office and the builder Rodney. I’m glad with my decision, hoping I will not have any reason to state otherwise in the future or regret my decisions. So far so good.

The paint in the house is cheap. Can't remove stains without paint coming off. Gaps in sod

Please is wonderful great environment with neighbors. Concerned about to dark at night time, not enough light to walk around. The response to resolve issues with the house not great. Need to follow up frequently to have my repairs done.

Our field construction manager was quick to resolve any problems. He always communicated in a timely manner. Our overall experience was very good.

Great location in the RTP Area (North Carolina). Closing was delayed by 2 months, Building process was rushed. Fortunately the Field Manager Duane has been very helpful in addressing the issues.

Centex is a good builder. We had a very good experience. The field manager was very good with his responses.

The project manager I worked with was really easy to work with. Very repsonive to emails and calls if I had any questions. Inspections were pretty stress free for the most part. If there were any issues we found, they were handled with no issues. After move in, I found a few minor things and they were handled really quick with no issues. There were a couple of other builders in the area I looked at but I am glad I went with Centex.

The people are friendly and great to work with.

I love my new Ibis home. Construction managers Tony and Joe were excellent and built me a beautiful home. The neighborhood even includes a pool and internet in the HOA dues which are only $75 a month. There is a radon issue which I had to address myself because it was not quite a 4 but I found a good contractor and now I can sleep at night!

Carter and James, our field managers, were very helpful and available on-site. Out of the whole experience it is the connection from builder to customer that makes or breaks the whole experience. They also worked on the house themselves providing little extras that go a long way in making the home more useful and livable. Also, Patrick, our salesman, answered our questions in a timely manner. The builder's mortgage seller rep, Michael, also was very relatable and friendly. We took a star off because the windows used were cheap. We really enjoyed working with Michael our building manager and Chad our sales agent, great and knowledgeable folks. Overall high quality home with some slight material & workmanship concerns, as an example a roof leak in our first days in the house. Minimal and rather sickly looking landscaping plants and sod add to the lower rating on workmanship and materials. The sod laying was pretty bad.

As a First Time Home Owner, I had a lot of questions about the buying process and things that I'll have to know about the different pieces that make it a Home. Sales Office and the Construction Team was always flexible with my timings (I'm a Out of State buyer, who had to travel a lot for our meetings) and to answer all my questions in a reasonable timeframe. I appreciate the smooth process. Few of the steps seamed intimidating and I guess it’s part of the culture of the Sales process at Pulse/Centex. I felt they kind of rushed me into signing a contract and making the initial deposit. Speaking of Quality, Its a solid 4/5. I had few minor issues after moved in which were promptly responded to to be taken care of. Walkthrough was really a huge win for us as we learned a lot of bits and pieces that are in our home. The homebuying experience was positive. We love our new home. We find the hoa a bit restrictive. Which is disappointing. The home itself is beautiful though.
