Sales and Customer service are really great. We enjoyed the entire experience with Centex

At the time we began the building process we were able to select individual upgrades to help us age in place. We stayed away from other builders that used packages as a way to select and personalize the new homes. We loved that Centex allowed us to make the best selections as individuals for our families needs.

The whole process was great, especially our field manager Josh!

After moving into our home, several issues were noted. One was the realization that the bathroom tub has permanent damage, namely, severe scratches and scuff marks that cannot be remedied by cleaning. Another issue was several scratches on the glass of the bathroom mirror. Those scratches, obviously, cannot be removed by cleaning. Centex has refused to remedy those issues. If not remedied by Centex, those problems, among others, will forever be reminders of the poor construction and lack of accountability by Centex/Pulte. Excellent communication throughout. They made the whole process easy and worry free.

Please is wonderful great environment with neighbors. Concerned about to dark at night time, not enough light to walk around. The response to resolve issues with the house not great. Need to follow up frequently to have my repairs done.

They have spacious floor plans , I like that part . But I feel materials are not so strong . Could be more better .

All I can say is They worked with you from the start to the end everyone involved was outstanding I would definitely recommend them To build your next house.

I found Centex by accident while searching for a new home. A very positive conversation with a lady helped me to feel confident with Centex. The lady was attending a workshop and just by serendipity she happened to mention her daughter had just moved to Hidden Valley by Centex. Armed with that recommendation I returned to Hidden Valley to choose a new home. I choose the Martin Ray and am very pleased. Elisa Parrot was very thorough, professional and welcoming. Selecting finishes, cabinets, lighting offered a very fair amount of choices. Mike Goushaw as Field Manager was detail oriented, easy to reach and quick to respond to questions. The mortgage group also professional and accommodating. I had several conversations with Mike O’Shea, Jimmy Hatzimimis and Caroline Dermon, each were patient and thorough in their descriptions and answers to my questions. If this sounds like too good to be true, I will say there were some bumps in the road. However, questions/ concerns were addressed quickly & professionally. Communication has been faulty from the beginning. I moved in June 2020 and was told that a 30 day walkthrough and 11 month walkthrough would happen to fix issues, but the 30 day was and will not be done per the warranty dept. Low tier Whirlpool appliances specifically came as an incentive, but were not installed properly. For 1.5 months, despite numerous requests, no one came to attach the missing ventilation tube to the clothes dryer, indicating this was not an emergency. Finally, we were frustrated enough that we fixed it on our own dime. Not being able to safely and cleanly use a clothes dryer after move in is not an emergency? Additionally, any service personnel that came to the house had no idea what they were there to service; the plumber came 3 times because his team didn't review the prior visits and came unprepared all over again. The warranty dept has not proven it communicates at all with contractors. The most blaring issue is the lack of craftsmanship on this house with obvious hastily completed work. The amount of holes, cracks, bad or missing painting, and misaligned blinds and cabinets, and frayed carpet edges cut too short is innumerable. Additionally, the base and floor boards were poorly cut and installed and separated from the floor very shortly after move in causing ants to march in throughout kitchen and living room for days. This will be left unaddressed again and I was told by the warranty dept to pay a contractor to get it fixed even though the structural warranty should be applied. The blue tape I placed and photographes in most places in the final walkthrough before close was plainly removed without remediation. These issues still exist and are getting worse. The housing development is also not kept clean in public areas even though we are paying HOA dues. I will be unlikely to deal with this builder again. ... More

Love the community, friendly neighbors, quiet neighborhood

Our construction manager was great to deal with and continues to be helpful as we ha e progressively gotten settled. It was a great experience and we are excited for our new home!

We are a first time buyer and they guide us through the process. They were very helpful and can be trusted. They provide good quality materials. The managers and staff are very responsive to us. We are now enjoying our beautiful home.

Though we were not present during home building process and closing of our new home it all went very smoothly. Field manager and his team and all other teams had done great job. a great job.

If you are reading this, please move on... trust me you will thank me later. Centex/Pulte homes are very poorly made and require a lot of maintenance calls to fix things that are days to weeks old. They employ "anyone that can show up that day" - direct quote, to the home site. Purchases 6 weeks ago, after initial 18 things on the closing punch list (pretty standard) I have had sent 38 emails trying to fix the new 26 items. The trades that come bye talk down to the homeowner as if they do not know anything. Very poor communication, poor quality workmanship and poor material used. The default whit most of this is "that's why you have a X-year warranty"... So when everything breaks down they suggest you just take it up with the warranty people, instead of making sure things are right or well made as to avoid the warranty people. The neighbors on either side of me are experiencing the same sorts of issues so I know I am not an outlier. Look else ware for piece of mind and less aggravation.! ... More

Home is good but having some issues with the brand new appliance (washer)

I've lived in several homes in my life. This one has many positive attributes with few negative ones. Overall, a very well built house.

Good materials and service

Make sure everything is correct before closing. Sod, plants, paint, blinds,floors, ect

Good buy

Everything is OK except landscaping. The landscaping contractor did a terrible job ! There are a lot of deep areas and many many of pot holes in the yard ! The whole neighborhood has the same issue ! Centex should send the landscaping team to redo what they did not perform right at the first time, people might sue Centex when they get hurt by stepping in these pot holes ! Please fix this problem for everyone in this community.

Home buying process was smooth and timely. I would recommend centex homes to everyone looking to buy a new home.

Building manager was exceptional, very responsive and professional. Building quality- some aspects were rushed. Painters were terrible. Caulk seal of crown molding is sloppy and already starting to separate. Choice of dishwasher is poor due to quality of its functioning as well as overall look.
