During the initial phase, the information provided was done in a professional manner and maintained throughout the home building process. Once we actually moved in, we did not expect to have to deal with concerns brought up before we moved in. The follow up-seemed like we were bothering them to correct workmanship that was needing repair. We asked to meet at a time that worked with our work schedule and were told the only time available was Monday - Friday, 8-4pm. We altered our schedule to meet the times provided. Centex Homes only offers a 11mth punch list for any issues that arise. If you choose to build with them make sure you look very close at everything. We are having drywall issues and now have to wait 11mths to have them addressed.

Yes. Home is built in the time frame I was given, but the problems are that home is built so fast that they neglected building the house. I can feel the cold air coming from the wall and the floor, cabinets are barely reset- meaning I can see large gape between floor and the cabinets in the kitchen and all the bathrooms. Painter missed a lots of areas plus we even put blue tape on our walkthrough and still missed painting the wall and closets, there was a hole on the bottom of the entry door and garage entry door- field manager fixed it temporarily. Crack on master’s bathtub, window doesn’t close by the living room upstairs- lots of cold air coming in. Field manager is great- he try to help us with most of the stuff and I understand he is a busy man. I am not even sure that the cold air coming from outside the house can be fixed- heater is through gas so, it is causing more me to pay more for gas. I could keep on going but those are the things I have experienced. And I don’t even know if these problems will be fixed or not. ... More

The sales rep was very proactive and patience to guide us. The process was seamless just the finance Part of it was stressful as we had little or no guidance about document submission.

As a first time home buyer I was very overwhelmed with the idea of building a new home and was sooo worried about timeline delays and understanding the build process! Everyone I talked to from sales associates, to the project manager, mortgage team, everyone was very informative, took there time to explain every detail. I felt at ease throughout the process.

The S. Bloomfield team (Scott and David) were fantastic to work with and made the buying experience a simple, and painless process. The workmanship was as expected and they have been awesome to work with in regards to touch-ups, discoveries and other minor issues that goes with home buying. Nothing is ever 100%, but they go above and beyond to ensure that things are done as expected!

This was my first new home purchase and the group with Centex Homes really made the process as easy as possible. I am really enjoying my new home!

Overall very disappointed with the quality of the material and workmanship. Interior space, layout, plan seems OK. But execution, quality material, workmanship, quality control, inspection process are subpar. The second day after moving we had to call emergency number for water leak in laundry room. You can imagine the experience. I had purchased two houses prior to this and were not this disappointed unfortunately. I am not recommending anyone to build or purchase Centex house.

Lots of particle board used in the skeleton of the house... is that standard?

Great house and we are enjoying the neighborhood. We just wish we had better finishes, like granite countertops and no bad flooring in the bathrooms and laundry room. The structure of the house is really good!!

Charles construction manager is a good person He has tried to respond and fix any issues that I have had with the home. My home is beautiful just waiting on a few other issues that need taken care of. Overall good beautiful well built home. Thank you

Workmanship in house seems great. Materials seem a bit clunky: the lazy susan broke within two months They were clear with expectations about getting back to us, but they often failed to meet them. Our builder was great, but the Pulte support for fixes under warranty took quite a long time to respond to initial claims.

Everything from start to finish was great. David the sales agent was open, professional, honest, attentive, he really cares about his clients. He is available 24/7. Great guy. Scott the project manager is equally just as great. Scott is perfect at communication through the entire process and after. He takes the time to be with you as a customer. Honest, caring, and wants you happy. Two great guys i would recommend to anyone building a house!

Everything is on their terms when it comes to options, deadlines, etc. The whole process is definitely in favor of the seller. I felt they rushed the closing about a week or two before the house was completely ready for move in. Overall I like my new home. There were just a few bumps along they way I would have rather done without.

The garage was unfinished and I was unhappy, now i like it

I would never recommend Pultey/Centex to anyone! This has been the worst experience ever! Because they rushed my build so that they could move on to the next and collect a check, a low-quality product was delivered. Who installs contact paper on the floor. There are numerous build quality issues today. No lawn or driveway when I closed. This is a risk to my interior belongings with tracking of dirt ect. Waste backed up from a pipe in the basement. There are other issues, but I don't have time to list. They are awful and are not customer-centric. Home buyers should have more rights. The buyer's only recourse is escrow, which is not sufficient. ... More

If you decide to build with this company, be extremely observant during your final walkthrough and take extra time to look at everything. We have crooked corners, bumps in the drywall, bad paint job, chipped mirrors and counters, damaged drawers...they even completely drywalled over a window and didn’t fix it until we realized it after we moved in. Some things have been fixed, a lot has not. I’m quite disappointed in this builder.
