Still waiting for electrician to address data port issue. Service ticket placed over a month ago. Baseboards are coming apart from the walls going up the stairs. Seal caulking on granite countertops is peeling.

If you decide to build with this company, be extremely observant during your final walkthrough and take extra time to look at everything. We have crooked corners, bumps in the drywall, bad paint job, chipped mirrors and counters, damaged drawers...they even completely drywalled over a window and didn’t fix it until we realized it after we moved in. Some things have been fixed, a lot has not. I’m quite disappointed in this builder.

Andy was great and set clear expectations. Management of the build was well coordinated. Seemingly inferior quality materials when I compare to the new build my mother in law has in progress with another builder at a lower price point. Example concrete driveway instead of asphalt. Undersized mechanicals cause Issues with proper cooling in the summer. For the price would have expected sod throughout. Neighborhood looks poor in areas due to seeding vs sod. Centex Homes only offers a 11mth punch list for any issues that arise. If you choose to build with them make sure you look very close at everything. We are having drywall issues and now have to wait 11mths to have them addressed.

They are gorgeous houses but you can tell quite easily the cheap craftmanship. More importantly the building process is crazy and their workers are not reallly helpful in showing your what options you have. The builder we worked with was the only positive experience of centex.

Purchased a home from Pulte/Centex - 4 months before closing. Craftsmanship was poor in multiple areas at “final walkthrough”. I feel the house should be completely finished with all errors corrected before “final” review. However, 100+ pieces of blue tape were everywhere with defects in cabinetry, warped walls, etc. We were given the “official” closing date 7 days prior to signing documents and receiving keys (moving from 3 hours away with moving trucks). During the initial phase, the information provided was done in a professional manner and maintained throughout the home building process. Once we actually moved in, we did not expect to have to deal with concerns brought up before we moved in. The follow up-seemed like we were bothering them to correct workmanship that was needing repair. We asked to meet at a time that worked with our work schedule and were told the only time available was Monday - Friday, 8-4pm. We altered our schedule to meet the times provided. Check the quality of the home. 30 days in and we have several issues that are all quality related. For the money our expected value isn’t there. Based on our personal experience I’d say the builder’s reputation does not match up with what we are experiencing. In general we are dissatisfied.

My concrete wall need to be fixed but know one shows up, I’m telling them to fixed it and the ceiling paint is bad, my. Backyard is all being crack. I have referred my friends to centex but I’m really upset with the builder. I’m not going to refer my friends and family to this builder .

Haven’t had a ton of issues with the home yet other than some minor stuff. Never buy a centex home until all items are completed before close. I moved in late January and still have no yard other than mud. I understood that it would not be completed due to weather but was under the impression that those things would be completed in order. They do not move in order and currently houses that closed a couple weeks ago already have yards. On top of that they refuse to give answers on anything.

Overall very disappointed with the quality of the material and workmanship. Interior space, layout, plan seems OK. But execution, quality material, workmanship, quality control, inspection process are subpar. The second day after moving we had to call emergency number for water leak in laundry room. You can imagine the experience. I had purchased two houses prior to this and were not this disappointed unfortunately. I am not recommending anyone to build or purchase Centex house.

The home is beautiful! The site managers are ridiculous. Literally it’s like pulling teeth to get them to answer questions directly. Constantly give noncommittal responses or just don’t respond to them at all. After closing, we were assigned another site manager. Same issue. Takes days to respond. Already had issues with features of our home and had to put in service tickets. I’d suggest another builder. Pulte (Centext) seem to only think of you as a number and just want your money.

I would never recommend Pultey/Centex to anyone! This has been the worst experience ever! Because they rushed my build so that they could move on to the next and collect a check, a low-quality product was delivered. Who installs contact paper on the floor. There are numerous build quality issues today. No lawn or driveway when I closed. This is a risk to my interior belongings with tracking of dirt ect. Waste backed up from a pipe in the basement.
