We did a across country move and couldn’t go to all of the walk throughs because of COVID. They missed certain crucial things like a toilet paper holder that was missing from on of the bathrooms, exterior lights that still aren’t working! Besides other small things!

The trades and people who physically worked on the house was very poor quality and needed to be redone multiple times throughout the whole build process. The land scape was very poor to the point where most of it need to be redone and paid for by the home owner (myself). That includes uneven bed lines around mulched areas, the dirt that was used to level and grade the yard was extremely poor quality (rocks all throughout yard) and uneven when grass was laid making mowing and yard work very difficult. I’ve lived here for a month and my ice maker doesn’t work, and the toilet paper holder in the half bath has already become unhinged from the wall. Other than that everything else is average.

Cheap light fixtures and plumbing fixtures. No top grade placed before laying a poor quality bermuda grass on the yard. Developer (Pulte/Centex) doesn't take care of it's designated land (sidewalks, berms, drainage area). No homeowner representation on HOA.

The house is a beautiful house and we got it for a great price, but there are some things that I have issues with. Some of the walls are crooked. We had been told we would get a paint kit when we closed to touch up minor blemishes, but yet again day after day we are let down. The fininacial portion of the house was very smooth. No issues there.

They are gorgeous houses but you can tell quite easily the cheap craftmanship. More importantly the building process is crazy and their workers are not reallly helpful in showing your what options you have. The builder we worked with was the only positive experience of centex.

My overall experience in the beginning was great! But, as I moved into the home I began noticing a lot of things that were wrong. I was in communication with the Field Manager at first but I guess he became overwhelmed with my many concerns about things not being up to par as they were presented upon closing and stopped answering my calls and responding to text messages. I still have unresolved repairs/issues from inside and outside.

If you get the Compton model, be sure to question about gutters for the front door. We were told we didn't need gutters, but there is a virtual flood over the front door whenever it rains. Also, understand what you choose may not include common things like towel bars and towel rings. Be prepared to wait for responses, although eventually they do respond.

They act like the Covenants are a big deal but when they are broken they are not enforced. I wanted a neighborhood with restrictions, but what are Covenants if they are not enforced

Poor attic insulation ,the floor needs adjustment, the walls begin to show nails. the plaster of the foundation is falling, never received parts of the kitchen cabinets, the main room is very hot with respect to the rest of the house, never received the paintings that were used in the house

I would've given the Summit by pulte/centex 4 stars for value for price paid, BUT for one HUGE reason - their TWO-CAR garage doesn't fit ONE regular sized short-bed crewcab truck! One of the MAIN reasons I purchased a home was so I could safely park my truck when I went on long out of town journeys (which I do for at least 6 months in a year), so I was quite shocked to find out that my truck didn't fit (another 1 1/2 feet of depth of garage would've helped) inside the garage. We had a minor dishwasher issue that needed to be fixed. When they pulled out the dishwasher we could see a hole through the wall and light was shining through. It was large enough for a fist to fit through. It makes me wonder if there are any other problems behind the walls that won't be noticed until there is a problem.

We purchased the home as it was almost completed (didn't build out ourselves). We have had quite a few issues, most of which were resolved after multiple contacts, but still have some issues we are told we just have to wait until they get to it with no actual time frame.

Grout, paint, drywall taping, cabinet installation and general cleanliness are just awful. I am so disappointed I am shocked. Friends have Pulte homes and were top notch. Mine is just awful. No pride of workmanship and no supervision of work done. My tubs are not usable due to gaps, bubbles and voids in caulking around tubs. And this is after it was pointed out during walkthrough. Cabinets were drilled with visible holes where handles are mounted. Tile grout is uneven and there are dozens of splotches of grout on tiles. Four key areas to review: 1) The sales experience was good, the sales guy was knowleadgeable and fair. 2) The mortgage approval was smooth, no issues, super fast. 3) The construction of the house was a big issue. I hired an inspector to do an inspection and it showed several issues that the construction manager did not want to accept. After a few days of stress and after postponing the closing day, the inspector went back and demonstrated that he was right.
