I love the home. It's a huge upgrade from the apartment life we were living. However, the builders were told multiple times about issues that should have been fixed early. Instead walls had to be tore out the days before closing to get repaired. Multiple doors are installed crooked and won't stay open. Parts are missing from doors as well as hinges and door knobs poorly installed. Obviously there was a mad rush to slap together the rest of the home toward the end to finish in time for closing. The loan and approval process was super easy and as a first time home buyer this made it a better than expected experience. The inspector explained everything and was prompt when responding to emails regarding our home construction timeline. We’ve been in our home since summer of 2021 and can say we have piece of mind knowing we have a new home with new electrical, plumbing, and HVAC that are still covered under warranty. We are happy with our home buying experience. We wish that there had been more time spent on the little finishing details to make sure that the home felt complete, but as a starter home, the price is decent for what you get. There is some room for customizability, but for some things, it is worth it to just do it yourself down the road so you don't pay interest on minor upgrades.

We were pleased with Pulte and the lending process. It went very smooth. Our field managers also get a 10 star. Shout out to Walker for trying his best and hardest to make things happen even during shortages. The flooring is very low quality. You can not even place a dining table down without the floors having intentions immediately. The cleaning lady did not do a good job on a “move in ready” clean. The only positive was after I contacted the construction supervisors boss.His superior stayed on top of our construction and tried to correct the bad experience we had with the supervisor.We still have outstanding issues that need attentioon.

the paint job is really bad. that i will have to repaint the whole hose soon. also the concrete in front of the main door is not even, they been saying that i t will get fix soon but nothing yet .

The house itself is built decently. Obviously I know that there will be little things here and there and it is a process to get things sorted out over the course of a couple months while the house settles but the trades companies that this company employees to handle electricity, HVAC and tiling/drywall make me believe that they have no idea what they are doing. We have had so many issues related to trade work its not funny. It was a long process due to delay of windows. Started with the framing when they had weak corners, poor bracing. Installed portions of the roof in the dark, I see roof sheathing plywood popping out in the neighborhood Cabinets installed 45 days before the house was climate controlled Patio cement is already cracked. The Pulte work sites are horrible. Trash and waisted supplies every where

The home itself is nice, no complaint there. However I’ve been in for 4 weeks, the cabinets are atrocious and not well built. The drawers hang or won’t close. Or they’re so close to another cabinet or drawer you can’t open them because they don’t have handles. The spare bathroom developed a leak in the shower diverter and it’s been 5 days and no one from warranty has been here to fix it after they assured me they would. I have the biggest case of buyers remorse. Plastic faucets on a 245k house? Lawn is full of weeds. Builder does not respond in a timely manner. Cheap fixtures make me so sad. I had a history maker home that was much better quality and the builder was top notch. I am beyond sad about my home but feel stuck with it.

Our experience with Centex was not a great one. A lot of options weren't available and we went through several different build managers. We were shown a model home and there were a lot of features in the model home and were not told that those feature would not be in our home. The main issues we had was with their in house underwriting department with a lot of communication errors.

Prior to my walkthrough I had an inspection done of the home. During my walkthrough I gave that report and reported some other problems with the home. I was told everything would be fixed, that did not happen. After I moved in I noticed several more things . There were flaws in the workmanship done around the home. I have had to put a ticket in 4x in one month (2) tkts were due to my downstairs not heating up. I have had the ac/heating company come out twice the first one shut vents on my 2nd floor and did an air balance check and still it did not help. The second time they came out they opened up the vents upstairs and told me to run the fan while running the heater still no big change in the way my downstairs feels. The buying experience was fantastic, the sales person(s) were fantastic, the original construction supervisors were great, and the construction seemed to be going well, as time to close on the sale was nearing the wheels fell off the building machine. It seemed everything that could go wrong went wrong, many items lacked in workmanship, many things didn't work, then it was a rush to the finish.
