I was told when I would point out bad quality or issues in my walk through, that I purchased a “level 3” house and needed to remember that. I am not exactly sure what that means, but as a home buyer that’s not a response I should ever hear. Also issues were not reviled before closing as I was “promised” they would be.

We have quite a lot of issues with this new build home And none of them are resolved yet, there isn’t any timeline yet for the fixes First, vinyl floor installation is very poor quality. The work is carried out by RiteRug, which surprised me. We have found a lot of places that short end joints are separated. So when you step on it, it squeaks and falls. Most ridiculous is the explanation of inspection guy from RiteRug. He told me “there is not teeth on the edge of each vinyl plank, they just pieced together”. I knew that is not true. For starters, pulte mortgage fumbled the entire loan process from beginning to end, leaving me to figure out how to get approved by the guidance of a completely independent loan officer outside of PMC. This has been the absolute worst home buying experience I have ever undertaken. Day one we had kitchen sink issues with water going everywhere and the representative emailing that she is out of office for the weekend and will not respond until Monday. I finally got a hold of someone at the 1-800 emergency hotline and they contacted a plumber who found that the sink pipe elbows hadn't been properly seated and tightened. Cheap Quality

The materials are cheap. The homes are expensive and they provide cheap or the bare minimum. No ceiling fans, no handles on the any of the cabinets. I wasnt aware most of the these homes are rentals until after i moved here and someone told me. Had I known i wouldnt have purchased. I have put in TWO service calls and no one has reached out. We have these cheap dated sliding patio doors that i havent seen since the 80’s. Everything is the houses are super cheap wven the flimsy doors and cheap hardware. I hate it.

They just want your money. They rush you to put the down payment down before you can read the contracts. I didn’t want power lines I along my back yard. 2 weeks after I moved in, power lines were installed along my fence - within inches and through trees. And yes the landowner supplied drawings to CPS for approval of where they want them. Yes it’s a Pulte/Centex decision but they try and tell you they have no control. Not true. Decided to have a house built and was eager to be able to watch its progress. Started noticing problems when the framing was done with a lot of splits in some of the 2x4s. I have so many walls that aren't even square, Flooring scratched up, cabinets broken, water damage spots in master bath, literally keep finding more and more stuff in this home. The construction manager is an idiot, doesn't know anything, literally had no clue what fire blocking was and tells me these homes don't have them when in fact we do. Daniel promises the world and nothing gets done! Terrible experience and I have bought 3 new homes prior to this and would not recommend Pulte to anyone! The sales rep only cared about selling not about us! She could not even bother to show up at the purchase meeting! She got her commission and walked away!!
