My first home buying experience was relatively a smooth an easy process but I wanted something updated and decided to purchase a new construction home. The sales process was phenomenal, Daniel was very helpful and friendly. He remained that way throughout the entire process. Once under contract, it became a totally different story with Pultes lender and the construction manager. Several issues throughout the buying/building process. While CJ, the sales agent, was great The overall process was cumbersome. For starters we went into contract back in August of 2021 and did not close until May of 2022. This would have been acceptable had the craftsmanship of the home reflected the time spent waiting on the build. Unfortunately it does not. I monitored the progress of the home and each time a trade came to the home they were in and out in a day or two. If I had to do it all again I wouldn’t purchase a home under the centex brand name. The homes are cheap and a lot of corners were cut wen building this home. I am just glad we have the warranty to fix the issues

We were very happy with the work done by all the ladies in the finance department. Very responsive to emails and calls. As far as the quality of our home I am beyond disappointed. The longer we are here the more problems I find. In 25 years of construction I have never seen such poor quality. No pride in workmanship by some of the subcontractors. Items on our walkthrough were not addressed as we were told they would be by the time we closed and still have not been completed.

Closing was little rush. Closing cost numbers were revealed just 1 hour before closing time. Promotional incentives like refrigerator is not as advertised. There were gutters installed to the model house. Unfortunately they are installed to my unit. This is my first purchase experience and I was not satisfied. I feel like I should have gone with MI homes in the same community. But it was late as I have already committed to centex

When I was showed the show house, everything looked awesome. We would get all the same amenities, countertops, cabinets, and level of detail in our home. It was fine till a week before the closing and we were doing our “blue tape walkthrough” with our Construction Manager Justin. The whole house was covered in blue tape. You’d think I’d be exaggerating but for every wall there was at least 20 pieces of blue tape pointing to 20 different problems. Centex was horrible to work with. Not putting customers 1st. Houses have tons of issues. And warranty is a pain to submit and vendors refuse to work with customer unless work order is sent from centex.

They overall finish quality was rushed and detail work was not so great. For the price these house are being sold they are not worth it. I regret making the decision to make this my families first house and if i could leave i would. I am not happy in this house and by what the website reviews show nobody else who purchased one of these over priced fast rushed crappy detail work is happy. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!

Broken sewage main line caused by negligence, incompetence, lack of oversight and inspection left us without taking a shower, brushing our theeth and flusing the toilet for one week. Now my driveway is damage after excavating to repair the pipe and Pulte Homes refuses to repair the damage caused. I am not asking Pulte Homes to stand behing the concrete warranty and repair it, i am asking Pulte Homes to replace my driveway because they damage it as a direct consecuence of the sewage line repair. It is a matter of right and wrong!

This was definitely not a good time to build…it took 8 months from contract signing to close. Options were not explained in detail when selecting upgrade options.

The overall experience in buying a house was horrid thanks to the staff of Pulte mortgage. This was my first experience of buying a house and it was hellish. From issues with negligence and predatory lending behavior to just plain being rude, snarky, and highly unprofessional by multiple members. I had fees upcharged and added to my CD that were NEVER agreed to even when the staff tried to pull "per our negotiations" but tried to ignore WRITTEN agreements on what was stated. Sales - laughable, multiple errors. Once you sign the paperwork, he has no interest. Thanks for nothing Tom and if you knew your stuff, the home was advertised with gutters. Our PCO NIck, is fantastic and really cares about what he does and how cuustomers are treated. He restores credibility for the organization.

The sales portion of the experience can be improved. Communication was not the best from the sales agent. We would call and email several times before we got a response. The contractor was good. He was responsive and helpful.

Overall I’m happy with the house. There has been a few issues but the builder has been easy to communicate with and almost everything has been fixed. My only complaint would be in the sales process the person in the office did not show me what was actually put in the house. I ended up with a lower grade different carpet and different fixtures in the bathrooms. I was shown a darker carpet and brushed nickel. Ended up with light carpet and chrome. And they did nothing about it.

I was told by my sales representative that I would be able to afford a house in Davis ranch at the end of January. Of course I knew that could change based off of pre-approval and actual approval. Fast-forward to March I'm told that I can only afford a house in a different community. I was told that I would be able to keep my 4.25 rate that was promised to me but after speaking to my loan consultant she said that that was not communicated to her by sales. We originally were supposed to have our house completed in the very early summer when we signed our contract but that got pushed and pushed until October. Not to mention we moved in with trades still painting the exterior of our house and the lawn still being laid.
