Overall experience was not the best… communication was not great. I had a few issues come up and lack of communication. I was told if we have questions, someone would be an assistance. Had some landscaping issues, work order was placed and they showed up after 5 pm. Someone was suppose to be there to assist and communicate back with me because I was not home at the time of the appointment and no one was there to communicate to even let me know the work was done.

The loan process literally took until the week before I moved in which was 2 months after my application. I understand processes take a while, but better communication and site updating would be great. Waiting last minute like that ended up costing more to move then if I had a couple weeks to prepare. Workers were still working on homes around me. This led to trash being blown into my yard everyday, plus waking on my newly laid sod. Which coincidentally isn’t growing. The process was stressful, loan process was a mess. Title work wasn’t even sent to title agent on day of closing. Trash, nails/bolts and weeds left under sod. Sod was dead writhing 48 hours. Thing that were suppose to be fixed, not fixed. Felt builder didn’t care once paperwork was signed.

I made my first home purchase in the USA at Centex/Pulte and my experience was unfortunately pretty bad. My house came with no refrigerator, washing machine, tumble dryer, curtains, cabinet handles. In addition, irrigation does not work right, a lamp has already fallen in 2 months, shower loosened, among other problems.

I started out with happiness and then it went to, "got the sale nothing more for homeowner". I have been in my new home for 2 months and unable to to get weatherstipping on 2 entry doors. One door had none from the start and still waiting, the other was in pieces and needed to be replaced, still waiting. Took a month to get someone to fix my garage entry door due to the fact it would not close to lock. I have submitted 3 service request and emails asking to fix these items. So, my experience has not been a smily face for a new homeowner.

Low quality shower doors. Rocks all over the area that were never removed, left over wires and trash under the sod.. The Sod can’t grow from all the rocks and materials underneath. Low quality shower doors which both have broken. Counter tops and back splash very low quality. That’s just some of the standards used.. Supervisor inspector did his best for the time and materials given from Sales and management.

What is supposed to be ready by October/ November, didn’t even started until October, unfortunate Who is having to extend my lease for a short term and pay stratospheric amount for my rent, is Me not Pulte, who is having to pay extra storage for my furniture and belongings it’s Me, not Pulte. Back in April I was told my house would be ready by August/Sep… here we are in October. Sad. Worst experience ever, for me and my family. So, there is noting to celebrate here… Do what you have to do.

As a first time home owner the experience was not great. Not only with the constant delays but also with the materials. With what I picked to the cabinets and floors to having to get something else because they no longer had the products. With the floors they put carpet in the wrong area therefore when it came time to place the vinyl they no longer had the material. There was also a crack in the cabinet which they just tried painting it to fix it. Also, after closing there was a number of issues. Ironic that this survey came the day after finding the latest issue. Irrigation person came out to fix a sprinkler head. In the process he discovered that Zone 6 was out of the schedule. The mortgage side, title side, insurance we’re all great to work with, but Pulte needs to allow its team more control over their vendors. The detail work was below expectations, that’s even when they decided to show up. Closed 2 months late and it’s a real shame our first home buying experience went this way, rather not do it again

The house is great but more care should go into the actual homeowner experience. The floor plans need slight adjustment and there was no thought on this location with the warehouse, street and train all so close. Really needs a thicker wall around the perimeter. It makes living here very untenable.

Our point of contact was horrible and the building process was very slow. Really disappointing when other homes that started after ours, were completed before. Our closing date was moved almost 1.5 months.

The way the builder interpreted Centex and Pulte is somewhat misleading. There was a reference to Centex whenever a question of standard and quality comes. Though Pulte acquired Centex, the builder take pride in being a Pulte owned, the quality of construction and handling of issues is not upto the mark. My friends who constructed through Pulte had a better buying experience and warranty claims. We somehow felt that the Centex tag on them became a reason for skipping many items on the build quality.

Overall buying experience was poor. The house was not complete at closing. I drove to the house after closing only to see painters inside doing repairs that should've already been completed. It took over a month after closing to get the correct appliances delivered. The driveway surface was damaged from ice during construction and still has not been addresed almost 2 months after closing. It is a nice house, but due to the overall buying and closing experience, I would not recommend Pulte.

We have only lived in this house 1 month and the ac has already leaked into the ceiling causing drywall damage and mold. The AC was wired wrong and ran 24/7 for a month causing the ac unit to leak and our electricity bill to triple in cost. There was also things promised at closing that never got fixed and the vent in the roof was not sealed causing rain to leak into our attic. We have not had a great experience and would not buy a home from this company again.

Communication has been faulty from the beginning. I moved in June 2020 and was told that a 30 day walkthrough and 11 month walkthrough would happen to fix issues, but the 30 day was and will not be done per the warranty dept. Low tier Whirlpool appliances specifically came as an incentive, but were not installed properly. For 1.5 months, despite numerous requests, no one came to attach the missing ventilation tube to the clothes dryer, indicating this was not an emergency. Had several issues with our buying experience. I had several issues during the building process and had poor response time by the site manager. Things had to be repeated several times during the walk through inspections that they were not done correctly. Poor communication by the site manager when there we issues that should have been brought to our attention. We have lived in our home for over a month and have yet to receive sod. We were promised it would be done within two weeks of closing and here we are with no sod and two dogs with no yard. Overall it was a poor experience.

Once moved in some issues with the build were brought to the attention of the builder. They promised to resolve the issues and so far have not. They left behind concrete shoe track marks in the driveway (all across) and can’t be bothered to call me back or respond to any service request. I haven’t been called, texted, or contacted in any way since the issues have been brought to their attention. On the website there is an option to place a request, which I have, with no response. There is no phone number to call.

The home buying experience for Pulte/Centex was not a pleasurable one that’s for sure. The entire financing process was a joke. People not responding, not reading through documents submitted, delayed reviews of time critical pieces of information, more than I care to write in this review.
