We have been concerned with all the repairs that have been necessary in a new constructed home. Our experience with the construction managers has been outstanding. Don’t think we would purchase another Centex home.

Poor workmanship and materials, they don't follow up on things they promised to do, warranty work takes an extra long time. I would not purchase another Centex/Pulte home.

During the build process, I did not think it would be as rough as it was. Going through four field managers was not necessary. Having to update them weekly on issues, keep repeating issues each week. The lack of responsiveness to issues was unbelievable. If client points out a problem, I would think it would be fixed at that stage and not months later. Calling for help day 1 of move in

We have honestly had nothing but issues unfortunately since moving in. Broken sewer lines. So bad that we had to call emergency line on Christmas DAY when whole house lost sewer use. Not fun with tons of guests. We had to have an electrician out within first two weeks too for an issue with outdoor lighting. The tub was clogged with grout and I had to reach into the pipe and clear it. Something we asked in walk-through to be completed. The price was right, but the whole process has been a headache. To the point where we almost backed out of the deal. Still dealing with issues getting things completed and it’s been almost 2 months after we moved in.

Too Much following up on all fronts!

Pulte Homes sells you on the pricing and incentives for the new home build. However, once you are hooked into the process, their lack of communication, disorganization and not meeting timelines was more than a new buyer should handle. I kept expressing to them that home buyers only purchase 1 or 2 houses in their lifetime, why do they make their process unbearable? Plenty of Issues even BEFORE closing

I should have walked away even before closing on home. Mario (the builder contact) is a joke and not take your issues seriously, even lies. His mgr. Kenny allows this to happen obviously. The warranty shop has been responsive to my issues. Rebecca is now back in the picture from maternity leave and now attempting to clean up the mess I’ve had. I’ve submitted many work orders to be completed and I just closed on home 02/16. I’m hoping that everyone doesn’t have an experience like this. Not what I expected for a big purchase and new construction home!

Sloppy work, and dozens of issues from the moment we moved in. Project manager Reuben scared my wife by showing her a picture of an alligator he saw on the lot after I told him she was afraid of alligators. We have found several issues within the 30 day warranty of initially purchasing the home that makes us question if the home can support or last us in the long run. The fact that they don’t finish painting the garage is another issue. This was not mentioned during the purchasing process. We have found a water bottle in our background full of urine. Horrible building experience!!

So our sales experience was amazing. The rep was personable. However, the build process is where we had lots of difficulties. Centex clearly contract workers that do not share their vision. There are just too many things that have to be fixed up to and even well after closing. This was not a good experience.

I closed over a month ago and have the same issues i had before closing. They told me we will get all this taken care of and even wrote up a form we both signed and told me within a week it will be done and its been over a month and I have been no showed several times and now just getting blown off with no help. Overcharging for houses that don’t have fans or garage door openers. Then telling me by not putting fans and garage door opener that I’m somehow saving money which is not at all.

I'm just going to say the project leads Cody, and Abbi seriously dropped the ball on our home. We were forced to close or be charged an additional 500$ a day until closing. We are 46 days past our closing and we haven't finished moving in due to long list of punch-list work that needs to be completed. The lack of communication is almost enough to make you wish we bought somewhere else. We have had issues with our closing date, our driveway, the HVAC and the landscaping in the backyard. All other issues are to be expected and are small. It has been a frustrating experience. The communication is horrible.
