Our point of contact was horrible and the building process was very slow. Really disappointing when other homes that started after ours, were completed before. Our closing date was moved almost 1.5 months.

The way the builder interpreted Centex and Pulte is somewhat misleading. There was a reference to Centex whenever a question of standard and quality comes. Though Pulte acquired Centex, the builder take pride in being a Pulte owned, the quality of construction and handling of issues is not upto the mark. My friends who constructed through Pulte had a better buying experience and warranty claims. We somehow felt that the Centex tag on them became a reason for skipping many items on the build quality.

Overall buying experience was poor. The house was not complete at closing. I drove to the house after closing only to see painters inside doing repairs that should've already been completed. It took over a month after closing to get the correct appliances delivered. The driveway surface was damaged from ice during construction and still has not been addresed almost 2 months after closing. It is a nice house, but due to the overall buying and closing experience, I would not recommend Pulte.

We have only lived in this house 1 month and the ac has already leaked into the ceiling causing drywall damage and mold. The AC was wired wrong and ran 24/7 for a month causing the ac unit to leak and our electricity bill to triple in cost. There was also things promised at closing that never got fixed and the vent in the roof was not sealed causing rain to leak into our attic. We have not had a great experience and would not buy a home from this company again.

Big issues with build quality, builder responsiveness

Communication has been faulty from the beginning. I moved in June 2020 and was told that a 30 day walkthrough and 11 month walkthrough would happen to fix issues, but the 30 day was and will not be done per the warranty dept. Low tier Whirlpool appliances specifically came as an incentive, but were not installed properly. For 1.5 months, despite numerous requests, no one came to attach the missing ventilation tube to the clothes dryer, indicating this was not an emergency. Had several issues with our buying experience. I had several issues during the building process and had poor response time by the site manager. Things had to be repeated several times during the walk through inspections that they were not done correctly. Poor communication by the site manager when there we issues that should have been brought to our attention. We have lived in our home for over a month and have yet to receive sod. We were promised it would be done within two weeks of closing and here we are with no sod and two dogs with no yard. Overall it was a poor experience.

Once moved in some issues with the build were brought to the attention of the builder. They promised to resolve the issues and so far have not. They left behind concrete shoe track marks in the driveway (all across) and can’t be bothered to call me back or respond to any service request. I haven’t been called, texted, or contacted in any way since the issues have been brought to their attention. On the website there is an option to place a request, which I have, with no response. There is no phone number to call.

The home buying experience for Pulte/Centex was not a pleasurable one that’s for sure. The entire financing process was a joke. People not responding, not reading through documents submitted, delayed reviews of time critical pieces of information, more than I care to write in this review. This was a fumbled, mismanaged and unprofessional way to handle people’s financing and overall one of the worst interactions I’ve had as a consumer. I would never again buy a home from them, this has been a nightmare. I felt like we moved to a used house and not a new house, what you see on line is not at all what you get. Buyer beware. We have lived here less then 30 days and already have a list of issues not done well, or not yet fixed. All started out well but many issues came up and repairs were scheduled and missed by contractors. Calls weren't being returned by the supervisor and we had to leave multiple messaand texts to get a reply. Our issues are still not resolved after occupancy of 2 months now. I would never buy again from Pulte.

Centex home put me onto pulte mortgage to use as a lender who were very misleading and deceptive. When asked for a refund it took 4 months to receive my money back for appraisal and credit being ran. The centrex office wasn't very helpful in how tonresolve this issue and said they'd take it out of the closing cost which didn't happen. The builders themselves have been very helpful and have come by to fix things that weren't quite right or missing without a problem and have been the best part about the process

The quality is horrendous. Paint runs everywhere. Things we blue taped to be fixed were not done we were even told by the build that he watched the painters take off blue tape and do nothing. Missing flooring, missing caulking, hole in the pantry, stains on the carpet. Yard looks like crap looks like they threw it together in an hour which they did on the day of closing. We love our home. Dislike the process. Final closing figures was not what was on the actual document. Slow to respond asked for the same documents several times when they already had it. Poor communication between the different departments that should be working together. The bad outweighed the good here.

During the build process, I did not think it would be as rough as it was. Going through four field managers was not necessary. Having to update them weekly on issues, keep repeating issues each week. We have honestly had nothing but issues unfortunately since moving in. Broken sewer lines. So bad that we had to call emergency line on Christmas DAY when whole house lost sewer use. Not fun with tons of guests. We had to have an electrician out within first two weeks too for an issue with outdoor lighting.
