We absolutely love our new home! The buying process was super simple and took less than 2 months from the initial deposit until our closing date. Our home was still in the construction phase and the team was super gracious and accommodating of our requests to visit the unfinished home anytime we asked. Our sales consultant was professional yet very friendly and took the time to show us multiple options. He also negotiated a phenomenal price for us. Our construction manager was amazing. He was extremely responsive and made sure any concerns we had were addressed immediately. After the initial walk thru and blue tape, we only had a couple of issues and both were resolved quickly. Our warranty manager explained the coverages clearly and made sure we understood the claim process should we ever need it. Our loan processor was so sweet and a pleasure to work with. She answered all of our questions and even responded to emails on the weekend. Our new home is equipped with top of the line, gorgeous, stainless steel appliances. We even got a new washer and dryer included in the home. They used quality materials to build our home and finish it. Some of the included features are granite countertops, soft closing drawers and cabinets, luxury vinyl plank floors, plush carpeting, a tankless water heater, sprinkler system, gutters, and a covered patio. It also came with a ring doorbell and is pre-wired for security and cameras as well as internet and cable. Since moving in about a month ago, we are still getting correspondence from Centex checking on us to see how it’s going. I like that they send tips and checklists on maintaining our new home. Highly recommend Centex homes! They offer more home than you can get with other builders or purchasing a resale home. They have a streamlined approach and were responsive to my needs. I give them a 10 out of 10!

We were able to qualify for a nice home in the Corley Farms area. The entire process from sale to loan to close were pretty much completed with minimal hassle. We look forward to making our new home comfortable and enjoying the area.

Rodrick doesn’t follow up with nothing very unprofessional and he doesn’t follow through with what he actually said that he was going to have done. We’ve been waiting for weeks.

I will keep it short and sweet. I had a fantastic buying experience a+. From the moment we fell in love with the house to the closing process went as smooth as it should. After closing we found a lot of issues that should have never been issues, just poor workmanship. From building materials down my drain and clogging up our whole house to the dryer vent being shoved into place and closed for no air to escape, and a gas leak that could not be detected by the plumbers or appliance technician. Trusses in the attic broken and not attached to anything, no electric to the doorbell. These mistakes are proof that the workmanship was poor to none. There was no pride in their work. When workers came to fix these issues, there was a huge language barrier which made it very frustrating. We find ourselves very lucky that we were able to notice an issue with the dryer vent that could have caused a fire, plus the gas leaking for 2 months which could have been a terrible situation. With all these issues already, a home inspection or two may be needed to find myself feeling safe in my new home. ... More

Working with Centex amazing easy to get into my first home!!!

I absolutely had the best sales representative! Nancy was professional, courteous, efficient and made my dream home come true. I love everything about my new home inside and out. And my neighborhood is so beautiful, love our entrance especially with the Christmas lights and decorations. This is my third Centex home and all of them exceed expectations.

All staff have been very nice. I find the craftsmanship of the home to be lacking. It’s the fine details. My ceiling is crooked. The exhaust vents in the bathrooms were installed very loose. The chalking all around the house just looks like a child laid it. The flooring adhesive is all over the place. There’s more but I’m done for now.

The whole experience has been wonderful !!!Cathy made everything happen !!! She is very kind and professional . She was very attentive to our conditions and needs !!! She made the whole experience smooth and pleasant !!! Keith and Patrick are truly professionals at what they do . They were very attentive and knowledgeable !!! They took the time to explain everything about the house and the warranties . Even after the closing they come around and check up on us to make sure everything is good !!! First class service !!! As everyone knows purchasing a new home can be nerve wrecking. After all the hiccups were cleared, Centex was wonderful with helping the closing process move smoothly and fast. Mrs. April was AWESOME ; Courteous & Professional. She was so helpful and patient. I Love My New Home!!! Thank you Centex.

Very comfortable and great community

This has been the absolute worst home buying experience I have ever undertaken. Day one we had kitchen sink issues with water going everywhere and the representative emailing that she is out of office for the weekend and will not respond until Monday. I finally got a hold of someone at the 1-800 emergency hotline and they contacted a plumber who found that the sink pipe elbows hadn't been properly seated and tightened. Day 14 we unexpectedly had raw sewage backed up and over flow out of the main floor bathroom toilet and bathtub. It flowed through the downstairs bedroom and into the living room, under the staircase and seeped into the garage. We once again had trouble contacting anyone local so i called the 1-800 emergency hotline and they contacted a local representative who had a plumber and cleaner come to the house. It was the worst Halloween night ever! The plumber spent nearly an hour snaking the line but never found a cause for the blockage. The pulled up some of the floor in both the bedroom and living room. t The plumber returned the next morning and ran a camera down the line to see if there was an object in the line blocking the flow but found none. PulteGroup Customer Care Manager working our case did not want to speak or communicate with us. We tried numerous times by phone and email and received no response for a week. She finally responded and came out to see our house. She said everything looked fine and they would replace the flooring and trim. We shared our concerns that this sewer line might have an issue since they were never able to locate a cause for the backup. She accused us of possibly causing it, we said how could we when we have only been in the house a week and a half and that's not even enough time to cause this situation. We finally were able to get her upline manager involved and she agreed with us and said that PulteGroup would make it right. We requested a new Customer Care Manager be assigned to our case. The plumber was sent back out to the house to put a camera down the sewer line where he found that the sewer line was not draining properly due to it grade resulting in a "Flat-Belly-Pipe where the water was collecting which had caused the original backup scenario we experienced on the evening of 11/31/2024.We were excited to finally know the cause and to come up with a plan to repair the line. Unfortunately, nearly another two weeks of phone calls and emails went by when we finally received a response. We were told that that PulteGroup would take responsibility to remove and replace the sewer pipe that this was a critical problem resulting from the original Centex construction during the building of the home. A plan was communicated to us and emplaced to repair the grade, remove the concrete, replace the pipe, repour the concrete slab, reinstall the toilet, replace the bathroom vanity, downstairs flooring and trim, and paint the walls was approved. We approved for PulteGroup to pull a permit with the county to enable them to perform the work. Now it has been another 13 days since this plan was concurred with and our emails and phone calls once again has gone unanswered. The lack of professionalism and and burden of living with the downstairs bathroom being gutted and concrete slabs exposed has been an undo burden for our family. We haven't been able to have anyone over to our new home, enjoy a family Thanksgiving, or put up our Christmas tree. We have 4 people sharing the one upstairs bathroom and are under the constant stress that this could happen again. It has been very stressful for our family to live with this situation. ... More

It’s a beautiful home Home buying process was smooth But mortgage team was not easy to work with

Throughout the process we were advised of each step along the way, and the quality and price in a new build cannot be beat.

Very frustrating to work with the people running this operation. Communication is very poor and follow through is like pulling teeth. They wait until the last minute to make repairs and you have to continually remind them to get it done. The workers are sloppy and create more problems when fixing one thing. They are a cookie cutter operation and only care about moving on to the next house. If it’s not done by closing, good luck with warranty. Everything is done by email and there’s no care about customer service.

Had a lot of things wrong and messed up that had to be fixed prior to moving in. Was not told the truth about how much monthly payments were going to be. Some of the people were pushy and impatient when we were trying to decide whether or not to buy.

Absolutely terrible experience. I would never recommend center to anyone. My house was built poorly. I’m still dealing with issues.

The materials are cheap. The homes are expensive and they provide cheap or the bare minimum. No ceiling fans, no handles on the any of the cabinets. I wasnt aware most of the these homes are rentals until after i moved here and someone told me. Had I known i wouldnt have purchased. I have put in TWO service calls and no one has reached out. We have these cheap dated sliding patio doors that i havent seen since the 80’s. Everything is the houses are super cheap wven the flimsy doors and cheap hardware. I hate it.

They just want your money. They rush you to put the down payment down before you can read the contracts. I didn’t want power lines I along my back yard. 2 weeks after I moved in, power lines were installed along my fence - within inches and through trees. And yes the landowner supplied drawings to CPS for approval of where they want them. Yes it’s a Pulte/Centex decision but they try and tell you they have no control. Not true. When you try and call them about any issues, they don’t respond at all. Just told me I own the house now. Terrible customer service. I wish I would have joined the subdivision Facebook page long before I put any money down. I would have never purchased here based on what the people who live here say. At least the people who live here have created a great community in spite of the home builders. ... More

This is my first home and I was very much excited. We like the location and space inside. But the quality of the materials and construction quality could be far better for the price paid. Wood used is delicate at many places and very easy to peel or take off easily. Railing on the stairs, back door, front door, the fittings are all not as per expectation. Had many broken things but the team response time is good.

The complete team did a great Job to make this a great experince, since we approach to look the houses till we decided which one, great team Melissa on sales, Sale manager, Loan team Jorge/Anie , my home builder Scott, my realtor Miguel..... Before Centex .....we were with other company (Lennar) WORSE/Thieves if you are looking for houses with them go away this lennar company they will steal your money............... best company and option is CENTEX
