Wouldn’t have wanted a different builder! Joe Wilson was the best at handling everything we asked for!

I would buy my next home with Centex all over again.

We were very happy with the people involved with our house except the painters and finishers. We went back and forth for over a month and didn't move in due to issues with the drywall and paint. It finally came to a point where we just let it go.. still sticky doors and dings in the walls.

Thank you for the awesome field of my home we were first-time home buying a new way to process very easy the house is quality and we love our first time home

We realize that a newly built house (fast tracked) there are always some problems which are tracked through a punch out list. This is ongoing, as it should be. Several individuals during the purchase of the property have been extremely helpful, and at times now are still a dependable resource. This is not our first house purchase and we expected a more transparent information process, deficiencies are noted and sent up through the proper channels. The problem is the lack of communication from the Project Manager; deficiencies are noted and the Myrtle Beach office tracks and sends a follow up email, but we cannot receive a timeline as to when these repairs are to be made, some have and we are grateful but others are still pending. The biggest cost in time and resources has been an incomplete back yard, this has cost us over $2000.00 and many man hours to take an area from downed trees and stumps to what it is now and should have been completed prior to our move in date. This started with the hiring of a certified surveyor to accurately mark our property lines; prior to our installation of an HOA approved fence. Since the purchased lawn irrigation system was not completed to the property lines, this also has been noted to the Myrtle Beach Office. The ratings given for Trustworthiness and Responsiveness to issues reflect our frustration(s) with the first few months in our new home. Beautiful home, just wished jetted tubs were an option and wood floors on the staircase.

The builders were very responsive when we had questions or issues after moving in. Much more customer friendly than when we built our home in Idaho.

Though I acknowledge Pulte is still trying to solve open issues, the fact of the matter is that I found too many issues with Centex not only before and during closing but afterwards. Some of them related to internal communications in Centex and third parties/design center and some others related to construction, management and final execution. Field manager was suddenly changed and things improved after that but still important issues were found and still I am struggling to have them closed. Centex did not even accept to delay closing and while I accepted the proposed closing date, the house was not finished and right now I am working with the warranty team. ... More

Some minor issues but they have been handled timely.

Overall quality is slightly better than average. Highly disappointed in the cabinets in the kitchen. You can’t place anything of any weight significance on the upper shelves without the shelf bowing. I’ve had to place my own braces under these to compensate.

Every step of the process was a dream. Super painless!

I found some imperfections on my home and I told to the construction management but the issues aren’t fixed yet

We did not think to build a home when we started looking in 2019, thinking it was too expensive. When the realtor suggested new housing though, my family immediately gravitated toward the Centex homes. The one we chose (Canopy) suited our needs well and had enough options to make it even more ours. The build process was smooth, thorough, detailed, and we were always in communication with them. I appreciated their insight and thoroughness, including their suggestion to move to a cheaper lot than our original choice to avoid car lights shining in the bedroom window. Change orders were handled promptly and even when the assigned Field manager moved on to another job, they immediately brought in another experienced manager to minimize any disruption. The home was built on time, and the minor issues we found were quickly and satisfactorily resolved. Lastly, everyone at Centex was a pleasure to work with, from sales thru the signing. I love my home, thank you!

The sales process was outstanding and both the sales representative and construction manager were friendly, efficient and responsive. I love the home and the neighborhood. The customer service after the sale has been anything but good. I had a major plumbing issue almost immediately after move in. My yard was dug up and almost 3 weeks later it is still a wreck and I can't get anyone from the customer service department to communicate with me as to when the landscaping will be repaired.

If you are reading this, please move on... trust me you will thank me later. Centex/Pulte homes are very poorly made and require a lot of maintenance calls to fix things that are days to weeks old. They employ "anyone that can show up that day" - direct quote, to the home site. Purchases 6 weeks ago, after initial 18 things on the closing punch list (pretty standard) I have had sent 38 emails trying to fix the new 26 items. The trades that come bye talk down to the homeowner as if they do not know anything. Very poor communication, poor quality workmanship and poor material used. The default whit most of this is "that's why you have a X-year warranty"... So when everything breaks down they suggest you just take it up with the warranty people, instead of making sure things are right or well made as to avoid the warranty people. The neighbors on either side of me are experiencing the same sorts of issues so I know I am not an outlier. Look else ware for piece of mind and less aggravation.! ... More

It takes forever with repeated calls to get issues addressed

Love living in this new house Centex homes took care of me and made sure that I was able to get into this new house!

After I moved in I a had a few minor issues and it took weeks for someone to contact after I reached out numerous times.

The company Centex-Pulte have not prioritizing the current owner on the sub division East Lake Preserve we poor customer service in accordance with their own contract they have felt to demonstrate trust among the customers who all ready purchase a house they only worry to continue their sell - money and revenue with house warranty attendance. The company has not live by their own standards and mission of customer service went warranty of the house come in place.

Not very happy with the total experience. Problems with Pulte mortgage. Builder cancels framing walkthrough 10 minutes before schedule. Nobody could tell me why. Craftsmanship subpar. One month in, sewer backed up, floor cracked, sprinkler pipe burst, surround sound speaker wire not connected, can lights not centered in gathering space, $4,000 sod looks terrible. Disappointed with all the problems in this new home. I don’t recommend Centex
