After deposit was paid it was impossible to have someone call you back. They don’t build as specified on website. Were not up front about all the charges you have to pay. Can’t get them to come fix problems Major electrical problem that has to be addressed.

There is nothing quality about the materials used to build these homes in fact i think your excuse well used was the pandemic and materials well welcome to the new way of life and replacing materials with cheaper products is what we paid for. Literally everything that could go wrong during this build went wrong. We are 6 weeks after closing and I still don't have sod on parts of my yard. I have stained floor tiles, lumps in the carpet upstairs, the wrong baseboards, the wrong countertops and wrong backsplash was installed. I know Covid had a part in the availability of products however I wish we did not close until all of these issues were corrected.

I'm moving date we had a water leak. Carpet how to get pulled up tack strips padding for the car pickup pulled up how to cut out sheetrock in 3 different rooms. And the house is very dirty when we moved in I'm going to make my second payment and stuff has still not all been fixed

This was our first new home buying experience. And it was totally ruined from day one. We got the wrong set of keys and couldn’t get into the house. Then there are many issues with workmanship and quality. Been here a month and still not fixed !

After moving into our home, several issues were noted. One was the realization that the bathroom tub has permanent damage, namely, severe scratches and scuff marks that cannot be remedied by cleaning. Another issue was several scratches on the glass of the bathroom mirror. Those scratches, obviously, cannot be removed by cleaning. Centex has refused to remedy those issues. If not remedied by Centex, those problems, among others, will forever be reminders of the poor construction and lack of accountability by Centex/Pulte. I was greatly disappointed with Centex. While the models of homes I saw seemed built to standard and maximum code, I quickly discovered this to be false. In the Month of November when I arrived to ensure the framing, and roughed in plumbing and electrical were to code I discovered that Centex hires subpar “contractors” who disregard building safety code. Terrible.. never have I ever had such a terrible experience buying a house. This is my third one and by far the worst one . No one returns phone call , everyone waits till the last minute to ask for this or that. Talked to a cpl neighbors and basically had the same experience. If it wasn’t for having so much time invested in it, I would have backed out and went else where.

Unnecessary arguments over move in dates, for a new home there was quite a bit of things that needed to be addressed. the interior drainage part of the HVAC unit was never installed. therefore every time the AC would run the water from the AC was collecting in the inside AC closet. sitting water for months caused a major gnat/fly issue and a mold problem. currently still trying to get the builder to assist with this issue since this happened due to a lack of checks and balances.

The inner offices of Pulte Mortgage and Centex homes has to be the most dysfunctional group of misfits ever put together. The experience was stressful and unclear 98% of the time. Paperwork was done 3 times and still never correctly done. Too many to list, this is just getting me mad rehashing this in my mind. Good day!

This process was extremely difficult. Still have issues with home 2 months after living in it. I’m very disappointed in centex. I choose centex because of the pulte brand and due to home cost. Being a pulte brand I expected a lot more. The cost of the home is literally the only thing that kept me interested in purchasing a home with centex.

bad closing experience

Forced closing prior to home being fully built. Builder unwilling to postpone closing buy two days so that I could have an inspection done on a home which was built, instead had to do inspection on home with no gas lines, holes in stucco, unfinished bathroom, etc.. Will never do business with Pulte or Centex again

Builders had great response during the build. Warranty people amazing while during the build. I had an issue with the shower floor, found a tiny hole once I moved in. Through this hole water was draining to the foundation. Reached out to builder and warranty people. Worst response and never took responsibility of this. As a whole, I had a bad experience during loan process and warranty issues.
