Customer service is okay, construction is not good.

Great location in the RTP Area (North Carolina). Closing was delayed by 2 months, Building process was rushed. Fortunately the Field Manager Duane has been very helpful in addressing the issues.

As first time home buyers, we had an amazing experience! We love our new home and are so thankful for the amazing team of people who helped make it a reality.

Reno and Melissa were amazing thru the process of buying my house. I was overseas and saw my house the day before signing all the paperwork and the house was perfect. Thank you to the entire team you guys are amazing!!!

There are a couple of issues that still need to be address. But don't know who to contact, as we have mentioned it twice to the Centex Realtor at the new home sales office. The ground/front yard is not leveled and very uneven in many places. My elderly father who lives with me has fallen a couple of times because the ground has so many uneven areas. I have also tripped and twisted my ankle when walking throughout our front yard. Its difficult to continue to clean out the weeds because its difficult to walk safely throughout the yard. Who can help us fix this issue? Our neighbors said they had the same issue and their yard was fixed. Please help us. Thank you ... More

I highly recommend building with Centex Homes. Our experience was great from day one, the sales representatives are very knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. The construction managers work very hard to ensure that the house is as absolutely close to perfect as possible, and also go above and beyond to make sure that you as the buyer understand every aspect of your new home. I would most definitely return to build another house in the future.

Had lots of issues from walls being crooked, to deadlines not being met for final list of things to be fixed. Buyer beware make sure everything is finished before you close.

From start to finish the Centex team made my home building experience an absolutely incredible one. I was individually cared for with excellence every step of the way and they did an amazing job at keeping me updated throughout the entire process! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build or buy.

Centex did a wonderful job of putting together our new home! They did it in a timely manner and did a wonderful job keeping us involved throughout the process! I would recommend Centex to anyone wanting to build their home!

It take them time to get a response back and multiple attempts to reach them.

Everything is good

Everyone was very helpful in buying our new home from sales to completion. Questions and requests were answered and completed in a timely manner. Any issues were taken care of to our satisfaction. Our home was completed and ready to move into right on schedule. We love our beautiful new home and the location. We feel like our home is very well built and we hope to enjoy it for many years.

I got a great price per square foot on a new home in Elley Crossing. Unfortunately, I'm finding out you get what you pay for. I experienced several quality control issues that, for the most part, they're willing to address. But it can be a bit of a hassle to see these issues through. I still have some pending. Also, all lighting fixtures and bathroom finishings used in my home were very basic. But that could be why I got such a good price. The paint quality could be better too, and my yards are still an unleveled mess, but overall, I still feel like I got a good deal. Maybe I should be asked again to review the home in a few years to see if it holds up. So far, not bad. But I put some extra work and money into my home. If you're looking for move-in ready, maybe customize one to your liking and steer clear of the quick move-in deals on the ones that are readily available. That may have been my mistake. But if you want a great deal on the financed amount, and are willing to do some upgrades yourself, the quick move-ins are a good deal. ... More

Home is gorgeous. We love the neighborhood and we love the location of the house. For the most part we were very happy with the build process. There were some questionable encounters after closing and a couple prior to closing though. Home was beautiful at completion. Lots of little issues since moving in... Granite was gouged and missing chunk... Drains not draining and were promised that would be fixed without going through warranty.... It wasn't. Air vent is not sitting flush with the ceiling and that was noticed prior to closing and never fixed. 2-door garage door was broken and we couldn't use it entire first month we lived there. Electrical we have had some major issues. Tons of breakers tripping, nearly every LED in house is messed up.... This was also caught before closing and not fixed. We have gone through warranty where we were told they would have contractors out by Jan 3 to have everything fixed. It is now 24th and we haven't had one contractor come out at all and the other two issues still aren't fixed. Overall nothing that we found to be negative would cause us not to go with this builder again. Our issues are being fixed at no cost, but very slowly. I would recommend Centex. ... More

Centex was great while building our new home!

We are pleased with the quality and value of our new home. The service provided before and after the close has been exceptional. We would recommend Centex Homes to other home buyers.

I have had to put a ticket in 4x in one month (2) tkts were due to my downstairs not heating up. I have had the ac/heating company come out twice the first one shut vents on my 2nd floor and did an air balance check and still it did not help. The second time they came out they opened up the vents upstairs and told me to run the fan while running the heater still no big change in the way my downstairs feels. Now I believe im beginning to see a spot on my ceiling in my upstairs bathroom that cld be a roof leak. I also had an irrigation issue on the side of my home when I moved I was told this will be fixed and they did come out and replace sod. The side of my home is still "muddy" and I cant walk to my backyard without destroying another pair of shoes. So no in all honesty I have had too many issues for this to be a brand new home. ... workmanship was great the builders were very accommodating any problems after closing they would come and get it done. I would definitely recommend Centex builders .
