I purchased my first house as I wanted satisfaction and not to have to worry about anything . my closing date was in mid July. and only thing I found is problem in house . Poor workmanship Flooring is coming out in office and kitchen. water leaking in basement . in front yard they have digged up and I am still waiting for new grass seeds after 40 days not happy . Our overall new home build experience has not been a good one with Centex/Pulte. I want to start off with the fact that key contacts for us changed during the build process. First our Sales Consultant changed halfway through the build and then our construction manager changed. Overall, we did not have a problem with Lisa on the sales side but when Ana was our Agent she put the primary cell phone number for us incorrectly, so throughout the entire process our build, the building managers, mortgage company, title company, and whoever else had our number wrong which delayed multiple things. The total project from start to finish was a complete nightmare. I still have things that need to be addressed/fixed The quality of the carpet and the faux floor is not made of quality material. The concrete is pealing in the garage and around the front door. The ceiling in kitchen and the great room has two large patches where product was over sprayed. The trim in the kitchen are not flushed. The kitchen exit door has dents and the window has a scratch in the glass. One of the worse made homes I have ever lived in.

I would never recommend Pultey/Centex to anyone! This has been the worst experience ever! Because they rushed my build so that they could move on to the next and collect a check, a low-quality product was delivered. Who installs contact paper on the floor. There are numerous build quality issues today. No lawn or driveway when I closed. This is a risk to my interior belongings with tracking of dirt ect. Waste backed up from a pipe in the basement. If you’re looking to build a home the experience can be fun and enjoyable just not with this particular builder centex/Pulte from What I experienced I certainly wouldn’t recommend it. Everything from the lending to the building was horrific what they produce is not quality work with integrity.

I’m still dealing with repairs and things that were not done properly in the home. Model homes are beautiful but they will not make your home with the same attention to detail. Worst decision ever to build with Centex. I’ve been in this home for 2 months and have had someone go every week to repair something all because material and workmanship is low quality. They took our excitement away.

Pulte Did not follow through on agreement for 30 day follow up Inspection. 4 months after my home closing I am still left with broken door that would not open Even if a fire broke out and windows that I can not see out of.

If you are reading this, please move on... trust me you will thank me later. Centex/Pulte homes are very poorly made and require a lot of maintenance calls to fix things that are days to weeks old. They employ "anyone that can show up that day" - direct quote, to the home site. Purchases 6 weeks ago, after initial 18 things on the closing punch list (pretty standard) I have had sent 38 emails trying to fix the new 26 items. My rental home was in better condition than what I thought would be a new home. My wife says the habitat for humanity home she grew up in didn't have as many errors. I don't know whether to trust any repairs would be more than just patch work rather than actually correcting the building errors and lack of craftsmanship. Nightmare Purchase

One month in and not even settled and we discover a water leak caused by builder that was present prior to closing and not discovered. Extensive water and mold damage. Complete rebuild of kitchen and upstairs bathroom. Can’t even use kitchen for over 3 weeks. I am very disappointed with Centex workmanship. I am having leaking window problems, and A/C issues that hasn’t been rectified. They alway seem to put my issues off, especially the windows and A/C.

My experience has been horrible and it's still horrible. I'm still living in a unfinished house with dented appliances creeping floors & no hot water. Within the last month I had to take off work 6 times for them to come fix (quote unquote) things that should have already been done. I have no hot water still!!! They new they had problems and still sold the house. So when i moved in the first they we had to go to a hotel for a week. After 40 days i still haven't got the all problem fixed and nobody is even calling to check on how everything is.
