I have no regrets moving into a Centex house! I absolutely love my house. And I would buy from Centex again and would/have recommended them. However since I have been living in the home for the last 3 weeks, I have been seeing little things with the building materials. They are minor fixes, not worth trying to contact the builder, but I know what to look for now if I were to buy another house from Centex. The one thing I didn't like is toward the end, nearing my closing......I could tell things were rushed. The driveway has cement droppings over the cured cement and it wasn't corrected. Some cement was slung onto the stone part of my house on the outside and it wasn't cleaned off and now it's hard. It's like things like that I can tell they rushed and things were done sloppily. But overall, I have a beautiful house in a very nice community! The only reason I didn't give a 4 rating is due to the Sales office for poor customer service. Still have things that need fixing but no one ever comes to do any thing!!

Closed almost two months ago and the house still isn’t finished. The final checklist was never completed. New contractor couldn’t be bothered because my house is already closed.

Love my home!

Had several issues with our buying experience. I had several issues during the building process and had poor response time by the site manager. Things had to be repeated several times during the walk through inspections that they were not done correctly. Poor communication by the site manager when there we issues that should have been brought to our attention. We have lived in our home for over a month and have yet to receive sod. We were promised it would be done within two weeks of closing and here we are with no sod and two dogs with no yard. Overall it was a poor experience.

I've never gone through the process of having a home built, so I was understandable nervous about what issues could arise -- but now that it's complete and I am experiencing the attentiveness and continued professionalism, even after we got the key, all I can say is Wow! Best home buying experience of my life (and I've bought quite a few!)

Overall I believe this is a good home. I would buy another in the future. The quality of the house build is good. If there were a 4.5 rating option I would have chosen it as some items related to the entire property could have been better in my opinion. Within a week of moving in some weeds appeared in the both brick driveway and patio. Exterior flood lights were loose. Tile floor has some material on it that is taking extra care to remove. Overall however am I happy with my purchase - Yes.

Our home was finished before the proposed closing date. We were surprised and happy.

My Centex home is well-built, with quality workmanship and materials. Working with Ryan and Rodi made the whole process very easy (they were great!), and the whole process went a lot easier than I had anticipated. I would build this home again!

The buying process was seamless.

Purchase price was reasonable and quality of work was excellent. Build was ahead of schedule. PM was very responsive and went out of his way to ensure my build experience was above expectations. Y only negative comment is that any upgrade you made was way over priced and over inflated my home value. What started out as a 285k house quickly turned into 400k which didn’t include any upgrades I made after my move in.

I really enjoyed seeing the home built every step of the way. From picking a lot, home style, stones, color scheme, etc. From sales, builders all the way to closing staff, they all contributed to make this an easy process.

Nothing was anything less than superlative, Josh was fantastic!

I had a Centex home that was pre-Pulte buy out and LOVED the building experience, the builder and the final home product. My experience with my newest home, post-Pulte buy out, was NOT as pleasurable nor do I have the confidence in this newest homes quality. Building process seemed rushed, was about “getting it done” and the workmanship is lacking as a result. I don’t feel the home I have has the quality in workmanship that it should for the price I paid. I wouldn’t do another Centex home based on my most recent experience. Instead I am taking the stance of “only 5 years... live in it 5 years...” at which I’ll be retiring, selling and relocating to a different city. But I won’t build there with Centex/Pulte. However, PGP Title was outstanding in their services and very easy to work with for closing! ... More
