Well, the consensus in the neighborhood is that while we all like our neighborhood and the sales team, the actual craftsmanship and completion of our homes leaves a lot to be desired. There are multiple things that have not been FINISHED in my home. I'm not talking about warranty problems, I'm talking about things that should have been finished before closing, that were promised to be completed, and never were. I have a pocket door leading into the master bathroom that was finally delivered over three weeks ago but has never been painted nor installed. My master mirror has a scratch on it that was identified by your team and hasn't been replaced. The holes that were cut in the wall for the washing machine hook-ups that look bad. Why are there no covers around the sawed up sheet rock. It looks bad. My YARD!!!!! The sod was thrown down and is so lumpy that you can barely walk through the yard without nearly rolling your ankle. We have tried putting dirt down in the numerous holes, in an effort to fill the holes, but it is still very lumpy. Also, why is there no sprinkler system in the back yard? People in the phase one have back yard sprinklers. We were never informed that there wouldn't be. Also, my garage floor has paint and spackle lumps all over it because it was never cleaned before moving in. My move in intentions were to paint the floor but I couldn't because it was a disaster. The house wasn't cleaned before move in, either. We had to clean it!!! There are other odds and ends that just weren't finished and efforts to get these problems resolved have led to nothing happening, other than a door being delivered. It's not just me, I spoke with four other neighbors just yesterday and they all have similar stories. I would NOT recommend CENTEX to ANYONE.n an effort to fill the holes, but it is still very lumpy. They new they had problems and still sold the house. So when i moved in the first they we had to go to a hotel for a week. After 40 days i still haven't got the all problem fixed and nobody is even calling to check on how everything is.
