Centex has been great. They have provided exceptional service and a home of high quality. I am definitely pleased with the purchase of my new home.

Still new here, but so far everything seems great! Supposedly I have 9 or 10 months to bring up any issues. So I’ll know more then.

We were really excited to get into our new home as it was really beautiful and had the space and many upgrades we were looking for. However, upon move-in about a month ago, we began to notice and experience many issues and we have now started to worry about the quality of the build and the customer service when there are issues. We noted two major concerns during our final walk through, and only one issue has been fixed to date. We haven't heard anything or a timeline on when the other issue will addressed. Additionally, after closing we came in to find drywall paint and dark stain in several spots on our brand new carpet from some of the issues we had asked to be repaired prior to closing - no update on this and what, if anything, will be done. Carpet and padding already worn down on the stairs because carpet was installed too early. Also, I ran my dishwasher one time after moving in - it was fine. Second time I went to start it, I received an error code and it never worked again. Per the Whirlpool warranty with Pulte, I contacted the service folks and it took 2 weeks before a service person was available to come out. When they did, he said the dishwasher has a bad panel and the panel needs completely replaced. Still waiting for parts to arrive so they can fix (and hopefully it does actually fix it). I asked for a new one, as it is clearly a lemon - no response. It has been almost a month now that I have not had a dishwasher in a brand new house with a family of four. Additionally, our irrigation system has not run since we moved in and no one has responded to our concern about this. Our sod is brown, and there are tons of tall weeds growing in the grass. Additionally, the grout is already cracked in the upstairs bathroom, the doorbell does not ring properly, we are missing screens on some of the windows that should have them - just to name a few issues. Though we did get a lot of house for a reasonable price, I am glad we didn't pay more because the quality is just not there and neither is the service. Also, don't rely on information provided to you about the home on paper alone. We did a quick sale and during the process we were told our home had a 4 foot garage extension, we signed paperwork with our offer that showed it was included and then we discovered it did not actually have this option, which was one of the reasons we had made an offer on the home. If you are thinking about buying, I would encourage you to visit in person and ask lots of questions and verify things (especially sizing of rooms, garages, etc) yourself. If all of the issues were addressed and in a timely fashion, I may feel differently - but as a brand new home buyer, it's apparent that the company puts up so many homes, and right on top of one another, and their focus is quantity/making money. I haven't experienced that they care about quality and good workmanship. I don't think they care if their buyers are happy after move-in.... they are on to the next home and sale. I like the way the team kept me up to date on the progress of my home

It was time to upgrade and move our family to a new house and we were very fortunate to find a new community within a great school district for our kids. The whole purchasing process was very streamlined and we felt the seller and construction manager were very responsive to all our questions. The building quality is great and actually surpassed my expectations. In my opinion it's Pulte quality just without all the options. We did hire a home inspection company and they found no concerns at each stage of building which says a lot and is a great piece of mind. We put our life savings toward thi new home and we feel we made the right decision. Can't wait to meet all our new neighbors, especially when the new community center will be built by next summer. Salesperson lied or did not know services he said were included were in fact not. Floor plan was different from model with closets, only after saying something did they address and then we had light switches that went no where. Most importantly, look at the Management company they hire for the community. If you want simple things like gutters, fence or to screen a porch it could take months for approval. The rules that apply to you as the homeowner do not apply to the builder either. I am greeted to cement trucks 5 days a week at 5am as they begin construction, but I cannot get “an approved style fence” for two months because it took 16 phone calls and 6 emails to get something done. ... The project manager I worked with was really easy to work with. Very repsonive to emails and calls if I had any questions. Inspections were pretty stress free for the most part. If there were any issues we found, they were handled with no issues. After move in, I found a few minor things and they were handled really quick with no issues. There were a couple of other builders in the area I looked at but I am glad I went with Centex.

Overall pleasant experience. Very attentive before closing, definitely delayed responses after closing. No major issues. Do recommend with any home purchase that buyer gets a personal inspection. Again, no major issues were discovered, but builder was likely a bit more conscientious.

We have only been in our house for a few days, the overall experience is pleasant, we hope to build our home in this place for many years.

We had minor adjustments and Harrison was very good at responding to them in a proffesional manner.

We are loving our new home. Mason (builder) has been fantastic. He makes sure that every feature of our new home is working and that we know how to use it. He goes way beyond what we expected in a builder.

Overall excellent process with the Pulte/Centex folks. Very seamless and professional experience. Any home issues noticed during walk through taken care of immediately. A really great team to work with and would recommend to others!

I believe other home buyers would be pleased with this process, and purchase.

My family and I really enjoyed the ease of buying with centex homes. The house was in excellent condition walking in for the first time and communication was an ease with the builder. Definitely would recommend.

Didn’t think it would be this easy. Everyone was very genuine and any questions or concerns we had were always answered.

It was very easy and promising purchase. After my walk-through the house prior to closing. lots of things was supposed to be fixed. I was promised to have All done by the day of my closing. I was pushed to close on my house before visually I experience that really everything is done on my house. I paid for my house I close on it, but I was very disappointed once I found out that All project not done as promised to me. It’s been over a month when I close on the house no one fixed anything or contact me to do anything on my house all the cabinet doors needs to be replaced they all have gaps and seems that’s the major thing and the kitchen, which is very important for me because that’s the heart of the house. Another thing is that French door is off the hinge. Outside elevation needs to be fixed. No one respond to that either. I’m very disappointed with the quality of the house . My house is located at across the street From warranty department people. Which is very close and very convenient for them to approach all the items that need to be fixed. A lot of things needs to be fixed at my house. I’m taking pictures of everything and I will be submitting them for further action. ... More

Best experience ever! Centex and pulte are great!

I am pretty satisfied with the results, everything was very smooth, everyone made it so easy to work with. Our inspector was very impressed with the great quality of the house.

I’ve owned several new homes and the attention to the construction process was the best on this house of any of them. I also hired an outside home inspector and the report came back with just minor cosmetic issues, but the attention to detail on construction was amazing. Very pleased with that portion of the house. The fixtures used were entry level and all of that can be upgraded at a later date as it wasn’t possible in the build process.
