The building of the property appears sound. The materials used reflect the price paid and we are satisfied with the results. The builder was responsive when we were doing our final walkthroughs and identifying areas to touch up.

The process was stressful, loan process was a mess. Title work wasn’t even sent to title agent on day of closing. Trash, nails/bolts and weeds left under sod. Sod was dead writhing 48 hours. Thing that were suppose to be fixed, not fixed. Felt builder didn’t care once paperwork was signed.

I am a first time home buyer. Centex and their staff made the whole process so smooth. I was constantly getting updates every week. The build quality of the house was amazing especially for the price. The builder, and builder’s team did great in fixing the little things in a timely matter. Overall, I was very satisfied with my first home. I’m sure you will too, so please check Centex homes out. You will not be disappointed!

Sloppy work, and dozens of issues from the moment we moved in. Project manager Reuben scared my wife by showing her a picture of an alligator he saw on the lot after I told him she was afraid of alligators. We showed him some issues and he didnt apply the fixes to the house. We still have a big stack of extra boards they haven't taken away. Cracked bricks, ungrouted areas letting bugs in, warped doors, unfinished screens, unpainted areas, scratched mirror holes in the drywall, cracked garage door support, messed up landscaping, no peep hole installed, doors not latching properly, dozens of nails scattered throughout the mulch and the list goes on. I was also told the home would have hurricane windows and it didn't happen. Happy with Brittany and Ryan and the work they did, but I'm not happy with the workmanship, or effort of the project manager or construction team. I saw when the house was going up that the work being done by other project managers was better, so I'm really disappointed. I'm happy with Brittany who is working to resolve, but I wish she didn't have to. ... More

The process to purchase our home was very simple. We received our home and were very satisfied with the outcome and quality of the home.

The dishwasher is not working properly, several lamps had to be replaced. The kitchen cabinet hinge has some problem.

Overall a good home for the price. However, have seen better builds from different builders with a little higher quality for the same price.

The paint in the house is cheap. Can't remove stains without paint coming off. Gaps in sod

Our experience with Centex was a journey with a clear destination. During this journey we meet with handful of sales rep. Jesse and Don, they are amazing. The construction rep Lucky is the Man. Other Centex reps were met along the line we also great. There is still room for improvement. On the Pulte side, Shawn was super amazing. Always a phone call away. Thumps up Shawn! In future we would still like to patronize Centex and recommend them to friends and family members. However, regarding not painting the garage, Centex never did well. I think leveraging on the 'City provision which did not require builders to paint garages' is a dent to your road towards customers' satisfaction. To me, a building incomplete if the garage is not painted. The garage was not even paint ready. It was left on the dry wall stage. To paint, one must do stages of before- pre-paint work. It cost us close to $1000 to get our garage painted. In all, the good news is that I saw garages of homes built from mid-August till date are being painted. This is a welcome development. We purchased our Centex home during the construction process. We toured it frequently & met with our construction manager. All concerns were addressed right away & we have a well built beautiful home. We have been very pleased with the entire process. Everyone in the sales office, mortgage company, insurance company & construction staff were very professional, kind & helpful. We love our new home.

Everyone that I have dealt with regarding this home-buying experience has been professional, responsive, and great to work with. They have made it extremely easy to become part of the community.

The craftsman ship of their workers was bad. I never seen or heard of using caulk as a boarder once floors are laid, what happened to the quarter round strips, paint spots throughout home on the cheap, thin vinyl flooring and carpet. It just goes on.. what happened to quality of work and good craftsmanship.
