Initially buying the property was nice and everyone was accommodating. But when the paperwork started and money was exchanged, the people on the neighborhood staffing were not attentive and negligent. My wife and I were lied to about a few things and documents were created without consent. Schedules were messed with and we were told it was our fault. But after it was all said and done, none of it was major and we love the house we are in for the most part. The neighborhood is nice and accommodating, the Centex helpline is quick to act and helpful.

As first time homebuyers, with some unpleasant experiences, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the guys at Centex Homes. From the first time we walked into the sales office to meet Nick, to when we had our final walk through with our construction manager, Laura. Laura kept us abreast of every single details and steps tnrough the entire building process and afterwards. She went above and beyond to allay every of our fears and was always ready (and still does) to answer every questions with a smile. She's an angel sent to help us out in our homebuying process. Alison(my builder) is such a great person. All through the experience , she has gone above and beyond to ensure comfort. I am extremely grateful to and for her. NB: This is for Centex NOT Alison because she has been extremely awesome, a backsplash is extremely important and it would be nice if it came with the home. Thank you. :)

I love my new Pulte home! I purchased a home that was new but already built so I did not get to choose my cabinets, floors, finishes etc. but I’m glad that I didnt have to, there are too many options and I never would have been able to decide! The staff and builder made everything very easy and took the time to walk thru the home and show me all of the features and go thru all of the mechanical things a homeowner should know. Vendor was no help at all. Lack of information and assistance through the process and post closing was none.

Perfect for a combat veteran

The sales associates, Kathy and Tyler were absolutely amazing and very helpful and patient with me. I was happy to make them laugh a few times. Going through the mortgage process was a pain in the a## but I got through it. The construction seems to be pretty good so far. I like the location and hope it continues to improve. The construction around me doesn’t bother me knowing that it will eventually get done. I haven’t experienced all the fees yet but, this isn’t my first rodeo at owning a home, but I hope there aren’t too many surprises.

The quality of the inside finish wasn’t good. There were lots of flaws in the drywall (eg nail holes, gouges, mortar spatters, rums in the paint etc). The doors were hung with large gaps on the bottom of the frames. The dryer vent wasn’t connected and the dryer vent on the roof was plugged because a screen was left on the vent by the roofers. The dishwasher drain wasn’t connected properly and caused damage to the cabinets. There are dents on the refrigerator, dryer and oven. The coaxial cable from the outside of the house to the inside was defective. There is a dead tree by the driveway that was dead long before we closed (it still hasn’t been replaced). There is a swale behind our rear fence that is a mosquito breeding, unsightly mess. ... More

Wrong drain pan broke washing machine, dishwasher leaked, one toilet wobbled, front door and garage door not seated properly, sliding door lock did not work, screens for slider were missing, one cabinet installed 3/4” lower than the others, gap in base molding between two cabinets, hall bathtub drain slow and last but not least-major drainage issue required three plumbers to be resolved.

Centex employees were very helpful from day one, made the process very smooth and easy

The process of purchasing was really easy and fast. After we moved into our new home, we were very excited. My husband and I worked very hard to move as soon as possible. During the process, we noticed that the house was a little hot, but at the moment, we didn't pay much attention to it. After settling in, we sent a complaint about the A/C because, after testing and checking , we realized that it's something the warranty should cover. We are paying almost 400K for a house, and the A/C does not work? Not even a month has passed when we noticed that issue, and now we have been waiting for more than a month, and we still have this issue. This overshadows everything that was good in the beginning, and my husband and I consider this to be disrespectful. We hope you handle this matter in a better way and a soon as possible. ... More

Overall our family really enjoys this house, and the quality from the builder is very very good. Within a few weeks we've noticed the back door leaking water, water leaking in through the bricks in the garage, and it's taken quite a bit of time to get a response even though all of it is under warranty. What we are disappointed in overall is not the builder... but the salesperson who represented the builder. He did not disclose certain HOA rules even when we asked about them, and did not disclose that our backyard has an easement for drainage for the entire neighborhood in which we are not allowed to build a fence on. It was overall a pretty smooth experience, although, we lost our sales agent during construction and received limited updates on the construction status. Moving from out of state was grueling but rewarding. Thank you for your assistance.

Excellent attention, quick response to requirements and unique quality of service! From the sales agent in the project, to the construction Foreman, the attention was specialized, with precise information and the entire process of the house was very precise.

We loved James from the office who showed us the house. I have had a hard time reaching the HOA with requests in possible upgrades since we have moved in. We sent warranty issues in and they originally wanted a video visit which I was not sure how that would go. Scott changed it to in person and made a list. He told me to send pictures of what else I found. He was transferred to another property since our meeting. Appointments made without being able to look our schedules. Unable to reach people to change appointments very difficult.

The loan process and the information requested was way out of line. For example, the house was going to be completed, my wife was moving into the new home but I was going to stay with my son for 2 months until my job was resolved. The loan personal wanted me to get a letter from my son, stating I can stay with him for 2 months, rent free. REALLY.

The grass around the house is not even, and not looking good. Yesterday someone came and do the sewer or electric in front of the house. They broke my solar light in the front yard, left everything messed

Pros: Initially, they impressed us with their professionalism, timely communication, and a comprehensive project plan. The sales team did an excellent job of presenting their portfolio, and their reputation in the industry was a significant factor in our decision to choose them. Structural Integrity: The overall structure of our home appears solid. We haven't encountered any issues with the foundation, walls, or roof, which is crucial for the long-term durability of a house. Cons: Finishing Touches: The most significant issue we encountered was the lack of attention to detail in the finishing touches. By home buying experience with CENTEX has been great from the time of my first appointment with the Sales Center until the time of closing with the settlement attorney. I am very pleased with my new home, and I appreciate the cooperation and the thoroughness of those who helped make this experience as stress free as possible.
