Really enjoying my new home. Centex was great to work with and built a quality home.

I wrote Matthew Newkham an email with pictures on 07/24 with no response as of yet. I extremely disappointed with my home and will not recommend Centex to any of my family and friends.

In the beginning I was very pleased with everything. But about 3 weeks living at our new house there suddenly was an issue where we noticed the baseboard in the master restroom seperating from the wall. We knew right away it was due to water. We called pulte right away & they had someone one come out and cut a piece of the wall open. They realized the pipe for the AC was literally broken. The water had spread through half the restroom causing them to have to cut the entire wall down & remove our cabinets because they also got water damage. This was in may. They had them come out and put the wall back over the next few weeks. We had to wait for them to bring back the cabinets which they eventually did & we’re told the side and bottom parts were ordered & that It was going to be a 2-3 week wait. We are like on week 6 now. They hadn’t had a plumber come out to put the sink and toilet back since they removed these things since the first day, & we just kept waiting & waiting which seemed odd cus there shouldn’t be any issue at this point to put it back. We are 2 months in now, still don’t have a toilet or working sink in the master bathroom & I finally decided to say like hey are you guys just waiting for the day they come out again or what? The manager Ana, that we been working with was literally confused when I told her we still didn’t have our toilet. Up until this point we have been completely patient but it’s starting to get ridiculous so my husband finally told her some things. The weird thing is without even asking which days would be ok to schedule us for the plumber she just scheduled it & said here you go. Like how do you know if we will be home or not? But anyway my husband told her he gets home first at 2 and we could do it then. She keeps saying they can’t but it’s pretty ridiculous considering the fact that we both have already missed so much work and left early to be here for all these appointments & now they literally don’t want to work with us on when a plumber can come out. It’s honestly such a joke. Their communication is trash, and literally no compassion at all. Can’t even get an apology out of the manager. Like literally you buy an expensive home and then to be dealing with not having a toilet for 2 months. & then for them to make it seem like we’re being difficult because weve already taken too many days off & now you want me to again because YOU forgot to send out a plumber the last time I already took a day off for this. Lenders are not professional enough for the financial process of buyers lives while they work through the process together so use outside funds for this neighborhood

The experience was great, everyone we worked with was very helpful, we love our home so far!

Every thing looks good and beautiful

This has been an amazing buying experience. The staff from the beginning of the process to even after closing, have been nothing short of amazing. I definitely recommend them for your home buying purchase.

Overall it was a good experience. Wish I had more time for corrections and walk throughs. I still believe I would go through it all again because everyone that I have spoken to has always been willing to help.

Centex was very communicative, answers all your questions no matter how bizarre, or regardless of your experience level buying homes. The most important part of buying a home for me was wondering how the experience we had with them up to closing would change if any after buying. The Centex team is still responsive, professional - we enjoy it.

the home is good

It is good for budget, The finishing materials are not great and is very budget oriented. The TV output is only one and none available in upper floor. The heat water is coming very late. The Lawn was not watered well before handover.

Overall sales process and the walk through process was very good. Morrgage team and the process need to improve so much.

Centex home is reliable company, building within strong quality process.

Customer service during the building process was excellent and now after we moved in it’s been great!

The whole team has gone above and beyond our expectations. Especially Connor! Thanks everyone!!

I thought I was getting a great home but was disappointed when I could not install my winsow shades when I discovered the wind header was split in two and filled with foam which cannot support the screws. Builder has been notified and have done nothing to repair the issue.

Not great. From day one during walk through issues were found and pointed out. We had outside inspector come in and did property inspection. ( THIS SERVICE WAS DONE WHILE WE WRE STILL IN CALIORNIA.) Arriving here ln texas , many of the report from the inspection were still not corrected. NOT everyone involved during the process were incompetent. There would be some people in the administrative part and people in support services on repair definitely unqualified. I also feel that the person put in charge and oversee the repair is a very bias individual.

this expirience was so great i thank god every night because without him this wouldn't had happen.the house is very good .

Andrew, Builder was solid throughout process.

The initial process with sales person was great. He was very helpful and answered my many questions. Unfortunately after I signed the purchase contract things started to go down hill. I needed house insurance that process went through the team, not a good experience. everyone wanted to help but that did not happen. The left hand did not know what the right hand was doing. As far as repair requests and promises That did not always happen. I was told one thing and that did not get done or got forgotten. There were many things that did get done but not easily. workmanship on the detail inside work was of poor quality. Some of the team were great, but not easy to get things done if everyone is not on the same page ... More

My experience with my builder Tristen was great. I must say he gave me his word to address any issues and please with his urgency to get things done. I can’t say the same for the sales agent. It has been one inconsistency after another. Forget about have visual communication about an exchange and he would deny it all. We were told by the sales agent that a temporary mailbox would be installed in the community and a mailbox key would be issued at closing. It’s almost 2 months and yet to receive a mailbox key let alone communication regarding the mailbox. Would I refer my builder Tristen to potential buyer, absolutely! I feel like I was pushed into thinking all the issues at each walk through would be completed and any issues would be fixed asap. The only person who has been great so far and actually communicates is Doug my service manager. My electrician no showed for a outlet that is missing which is a code violation. Made me miss a work day using PTO even after confirming that morning! My upstairs tub leaks but thankfully Doug is working on that finally after Dallas just ignored the issue since one week after moving in the home. The pain comes off with one wipe on every wall. The exterior doors have to be slightly cracked in order to actually lock them. Doug is also working on that but I have to wait and see if he comes through unlike the incident with the electrician "who was coming". Steer clear because the whole neighborhood group on social media is talking and nothing but complaints with the new homes that should not be an issue for a new home. Also, Taylor isn't any better when my realtor reached out to him/her they said someone would come look at the issue and well lets just say, that NEVER HAPPENED.
