I bought the home in Centex. Staff is friendly but sometimes give false promises and ask for excuse. Home buying process is smooth but quality of the construction is not that great. I experience lot of wear and tear after my house closing which I didn’t expected. Quality was highly compromised.

My overall experience was phenomenal. Everyone was hands on from the time I started the process of buying my first home till the time of closing. The process went so smoothly and I closed within a month. Someone was always available to answer my questions and concerns. I Love my beautiful home. It has everything thing that I desired. It’s structured just the way I always dream it would be. Buying a home from Centex was one of the best decisions I ever made in my life!

The warranty callout for a badly installed vinyl floor took so long and after they eventually secured and got me waiting for a whole day, no one showed up or even called back. I had to put in another ticket. Not sure how they will respond on more serious issues if they took this long to work on this minor issue.

Kyle was great! Very informative, stayed in contact with us consistently & made us feel at ease with the entire process!

We bought our house and loved the whole process. No pushy sales just great service. Had to place a couple of service calls and received the best customer service I could had ask for. The whole process was very stress free and easy!!!

Kitchen was not wired properly. We have to have the garbage disposal permanently unplugged if we want to run the dishwasher. There was no split in the wiring to allow both to run separately. Upstairs floor has several dead spots. The grass/sod job in the back yard was quite poor. On our 5th week in and there is still significant patches in the lawn.

My buying experience was excellent, Not impressed with the quality of building materials, appears to be a rush job in so many areas from pouring of cement to inside walls, a little touch on walls it smudges,outside light above garage continues to be loose have shown it to the young lady 2X,huge hunks of rocks were all over yard. Overall just a rush job to get these homes on the market.

The experience was great from Eli in the sales office to Dennis doing the walk through. I truly love my new home and am thankful for those that helped me get into it.

It was great experience, Ryan neely helped to understand the design and structure. Carter was the construction manager and he always informed me with the construction updates along with my queries and all queries were answered and resolved.

I visited Centex homes several times. I loved the three car garage and the fact that the 4th bedroom had its own bathroom. I just couldn’t get excited over the exterior of the home. To me it was so cookie cutter looking, so blaa. Anyway, after looking at about 80 plus homes for sale we realized we were getting the most bang for our buck and bought the Bayshore model. The house is very spacious inside and now that it’s furnished and decorated it looks absolutely gorgeous. Because they didn’t have a model for this home it was very hard to visualize the possibilities. Our dislikes….we hate that they put St. Augustine grass in the front yard and put Bahia grass in the backyard. That’s just being cheap. Even worse, one water spigot for this whole piece of property. Ridiculous! We hate that there isn’t a separate light switch for the ceiling fan and lights. There should have been prewiring for the corner eves of the house out back, as well. It’s too dark out there at night, especially for our pets to do their business. I love my shower in the master bedroom. It’s definitely made for taller people to enjoy. I love the large laundry room. My kitchen is so pretty. I even like that the ceilings are one height. No need to air condition 20 plus feet in the air. In addition, it made crown molding easier to install. If I could add anything I’d like to have sliding doors going out of the master bedroom to the backyard and it would have been great to have had an option to make this home a 3/3/3. Eliminating the wall between the bedrooms in the hallway therefore my roommate could have a larger bedroom, as well. Enjoying my palace otherwise. I’d post pictures if I were able to. Quality home, great communication and great service by this builder.

We couldn't be happier with our Builder, Mike. Everything was completed before we closed. Very quick and responsive with the very few touch ups that we requested as well.

I moved in a little more than a month ago and am totally impressed with my home and the build quality. My post move-in punch list is minimal and the Centex Warranty team have scheduled the trades to perform the minor repairs in a timely manner.

The buying process was very good. Corbin the sales rep was very helpful. Kyle the construction manager did an amazing job. Over all it’s way better than other builders in Marvida.

My husband and I were ready to buy our first home and I had been looking in this area at different floor plans. Came fell in love with a floor plan and got the ball rolling. Everyone was super helpful from Amy to the builder and the warranty guy. Even the loan officer and underwriter. I look forward to seeing the community grow and expand.

No response to fix issues

As you all know, buying a house can be very stressful and overwhelming even when you get everything they ask of. However, I hand my hat to this amazing team at centex homes. From putting the house under contract, the approval process, through the building process then closing, I mean it was as smooth as I could have never imagine. The communication and learning process was great with Lorenzo, even after we close. Y family and I pleased with the choice we be made and we are happy to be part of this fast growing community! From the very start, the sales office found exactly the house we were looking for. We thought we couldn’t get a house in the day and age but we did! The process was smooth and transparent. Overall we are in love with our new home.

I chose a newly constructed home over a fixer upper, because I did not want to deal with the workmen and hassle of sourcing materials etc, however it feels like a fixer upper, the finish is very poor. the floor is dull, the bathroom panels are not sealed and have gaps, I am worried water is going to seeped thru the gaps and I am going to have mold. the accessories are cheap and outdated, the front door at least could have a door handle instead of the round doorknob. the bedroom doors have closet doorknobs and cannot lock, the toilet seats and cover are heavy, I have not seen those heavy toilets and round knobs in a very long time, no bathroom windows in 2022. back door the space for the dead bolt is not chiseled out properly, some base board are not corked fully, there was grout, paint and dirty spots all over the floors and walls plugs are sealed and flat to the walls, the light switches are dated. the master bathroom could take a double sink, could have left an open space under the staircase. pantry too small and wire shelves way too narrow. The community could use a pool especially because it gets so hot during the summer and a play ground would have been nice. we could have gotten ceiling fans. I feel like, we just got the bare bones, saw same design by Lenar and the finish was much better. to say the least I love the house but disappointed in the finish product. sunken lights in the kitchen, we are in the 21st century. We could use some noise reduction windows considering, we are so close to the where the train passes and honks consistently. Please make some improvements for the future homes thank you ... More
