Overall good experience great builder and great sells person that we had. They have great customer service . Just not happy with the workmanship on the concrete. The driveway was poorly made and they said it was up to the standards. It doesn't look like a new drive way. Very cheaply poured. And paint is very cheap and if it scuffs. You can't clean the paint if you clean the scuff the paint comes right off. Some issues were addressed but the ones I am noting were up to the standard. Still haven't received my oven. There is paint splatters on various parts of the vinyl flooring. We had to deep clean the house before moving was still very dirty. Asked for permits but couldn't get them. Upsetting that a 4 door truck doesnt fit in the garage. ... More

Pulte is very responsive to the customer and we greatly appreciate it! Build quality is probably dependent on the contractors hired. For our lot, rain water doesn't drain well, so parts of the lawn feels like a swamp with standing water. Overall, a good experience though, thank you.

Make sure to check interior painted walls after we moved in we found several paint runs. Also check finish work in master shower by window

they have to find out on their own.

The Sales Counselor and Builder Manager were very good at answering my questions, keeping me informed and responding to my concerns. It helped streamline the process.

I have experienced good response from team. I think the company can improve the finishing details for walls and flooring.

The process with Centex it was very easy , faster and always with good communication, Michelle my sales representative it was always pending of the process, at the someway Mark the Building manager In the financial department Aaron was the perfect person to may this job , always try to get the operation to the ending, Very Happy in the Centex community

I appreciated the communication throughout the build and understand Hurricane Ian throwing a monkey wrench into an already complicated supply chain, but I do understand the motivation to lie to me. Making arrangements to live while the build was completing would have been easier if I was told the truth instead of trying to make me feel better with overly aggressive time lines. We all knew it was going to take three times longer than I was told, so what is the motivation to lie to me? Finally, we had concerns on the finish of the walls and paint that we were instructed were normal finishes for these houses. We come to find out from the 30 day quality inspection that paint and dry wall is embarrassing and never should have been released in this condition. It was obvious that either the damage from the hurricane was patched up instead of done correctly and/or was rushed, and now we have to manage a work crew redoing 1/2 the drywall and paint while all of our belongings are in the house. I would expect this from buying a cheap house and getting a cheaply made product, but we paid above average pricing and got a below average job on fit and finish. I have nothing bad to say about the quality of how well the house is sealed or the strength of construction. I still have trust that that was done correctly having been walked through the house during construction and seeing the final product. We will eventually be happy after corrections are made, but this all could have been avoided with less marketing BS and more honesty up front. ... More

The Centex home builder is the best

Having pipes leak causing water damage. The thermostat goes down to 40 degrees without being touched. There are dips under the carpet. Door stoppers are needed. Lights are flickering. Going from dim to bright.

I closed over a month ago and have the same issues i had before closing. They told me we will get all this taken care of and even wrote up a form we both signed and told me within a week it will be done and its been over a month and I have been no showed several times and now just getting blown off with no help. Just need some accountability to keep checks on people

Being organized and flexible with the Centex builder and loan team helps facilitate the process.

Very helpful and great overall experience

Centex home put me onto pulte mortgage to use as a lender who were very misleading and deceptive. When asked for a refund it took 4 months to receive my money back for appraisal and credit being ran. The centrex office wasn't very helpful in how tonresolve this issue and said they'd take it out of the closing cost which didn't happen. The builders themselves have been very helpful and have come by to fix things that weren't quite right or missing without a problem and have been the best part about the process

Overall experience is good, worth buying a house with Centex. Good builder, good price

I have good experience, I am satisfied

Because of the market trend, although Centex reduced prices of the homes that were to be delivered in Dec 2022 but they also reduced the quality of the electronic items they gave us and looking at bathrooms, living room it tells me that they tried to do cost cutting in quite a few places. The Eletrical Range, Dishwasher thats given to us looks to be open box as they both have issues opening and closing doors/drawers and the logo is half cut.

The customer service is great. They address to each individual needs.

The home buying process is stressful at times not going to lie. And although we had some bumps in the road I am so glad we stayed the course. We had a pleasant experience with everyone involved, with the exception of our Loan Consultant, however everyone else really rallied together to try and make up for that shortcoming. Since closing, the customer care team has been wonderful! I have been referring all of my friends and family in search for homes to Centex/Pulte! Just do it! Whatever questions you have ask. Any apprehensions, share them with those working with you during this journey! Leave no stone un-turned and be honest with everyone about your needs, wants and what you can afford! Quality of materials used is horrible. I have cracking of interior paint on my walls throughout the home. Mixing valve in my master shower was faulty, therefore there was no cold water to the shower. Only scalding hot water. First week into the home and already had a massive hole in my master bedroom wall to have the shower mixing valve replaced. Gaps in the exterior siding is not caulked. The landscaper laid my sod with 4”-5” rocks underneath. The quality of the home compared to the price you pay is unbelievable. Sad to see that the savings the builder receives by cutting corners never get passed down to the buyer. Only the issues caused by cutting the corners. ... More

From the moment I signed the buyer’s agreement, the Pulte/Centex team kept me in the loop of the progress and everything that was going on with my home and the building process. Kayla provided me with detailed weekly updates and was always there whenever I had any questions. Towards the end I met the construction manager, Colton, and I was in contact with him pretty much daily up until the closing date. My satisfaction and happiness were extremely important to them and any issues I had were solved very quickly. Even after closing the team has been supportive and have been checking in and solving any issues I’ve come across. Pulte/Centex are quality builders who make the home buying process as easy and painless as possible. I would recommend them to anybody and would absolutely buy from them again in the future. ... I will start this by saying that I am well aware these are spec homes, however the price of the homes in my area are $400k+. I had multiple issues with the home and still do. So much so that to have all the poor craftsmanship fixed would be impractical because it would require my family to leave while they sanded every poor drywall seam. The crews they use do not care about quality and it shows. These homes are rushed and the work done is sloppy. I moved from a 20+ year old home that was in better shape than my brand new home. From paint on the new floors around the base trim, to carpet, to trim work, and drywall imperfections, my home is overall far from a quality home. Did they address the bigger issues?, sure, but in order to address all the “fit and finish” details that make a quality home, it would require someone being in my house for weeks on end to resolve all the issues. I pretty much gave up as the frustration grew into all the issues that I keep discovering. I moved in and had someone in my home several days a week for almost a month. Completely ridiculous. I suspect this review won’t matter much because it’s obvious the number one goal for them is to build houses rapidly to make as much $$ as possible, and to not actually build the quality homes they promise.
