Major improvement is needed in the communication, dont have proper system for communication through any form, there is big scope for quality improvement as well

The process of buying a house is very tiresome but when you get a dedicated team of professionals like the one at Centex they make it more easy that's what I learnt.

I love my new home. The layout is perfect. Structurally, it is solid. However, the attention to finish work is abysmal. Cracks in my new cabinets, my banisters are unsanded leaving my family with splinters. Gaping holes that were never covered over. Unsealed doors. Every neighbor I speak to has the same experience, with warranty tickets a mile long. You will love your home, but you will find that what it takes to make it as it should have been on the day of purchase is a frustrating and lengthy process. Be prepared to be a squeaky wheel. I had bought this home oct 2022 I done my walk through and placed tape on reasonable areas that needed touch up but by that time My wife and I just had our second child and was in a rush to get back to my in-laws and I was trusting that all of it were to be taken care of .. well after we moved inALMOST every single tape I placed was removed and had not been corrected. some tape was left. kinda disappointed just need someone to come by and correct it. paying for a home in this market was expecting some quality work, my kitchen faucet was installed and used it about 10 times the first week became loose, couldn’t figure out why the Heater was kicking on, they left it off. drywall repair, landscape repair still needs to be done I’ve contacted twice now for landscape because no gutters are installed and water puddles doesn’t channel properly to the drain sites in the back yard, just clay mud and fear of moisture getting under the house, and when it rained hard water was splashing and stained the stucco with mud. I’ve found pieces of electric wire, in the back yard and front, I’ve found cabinets in the kitchen that have chunks missing and someone just colored it in. cabinets have caulk cement on some kick boards. I’m not happy because they made you feel like it could’ve been done correctly and efficiently. ... More

We really regret purchasing this home. It was a “quick built “ and once we moved in, we started seeing more and more issues with the home. We had issues from the very start. We even decided to not go forward with the purchase and started looking for other homes. Our sales guy was great and he changed our minds and made sure all the issues with our home would be taken care of. We closed on 10/19/2022 and we still have items that have not been fixed. The subcontractors did a crappy job on almost everything. Our ceiling is starting to crack at the seams, our stone work has not been resolved. Our driveway is starting to show areas where there was obviously “air bubbles “ and now there’s opens areas on the driveway. It will get worse with time. Even the landscaping is crap. My lawn is very uneven and when I pulled the sod over, there were giant rocks, lots of them, underneath. How is the grass supposed to root? Most of the grass is dead because we had no water pressure for about 10 days and after the plumber came over twice, they found the issue, replaced the entire piece and we finally were able to water out grass. Most of it was dead by then. A note was made by the person in charge of our home and we were supposed to get the dried sod replaced and nothing has been done. After complaining several times and wanting to speak to a manager, no one has reached out to me. I asked to for a change in person dealing with all the issues and he has finally given me a date of January 7 for most of the repairs. We plan to sell as soon as our son graduates. The quality of this home is so cheap. You can hear EVERYTHING that goes on outside. There are no pull out drawers in the bathroom vanities or even a small linen closet. At least out some shelves for towels. We made an appointment to have custom cabinets placed in the laundry room, bathrooms and master closet. We have decided to just do the laundry room because we do not plan on making this our forever home. I will never purchase a Centex/Pulte home again!!! ... More

It seems in comparison to other new builds in the area, the house size/location is competitive but not the materials for the pricepoint. They cut corners in the finished product. I hope the 1-year warranty covers the finishing touches that were not done well. However, they did work with me and made closing dates very very flexible and were extremely communicative.

Still waiting for electrician to address data port issue. Service ticket placed over a month ago. Baseboards are coming apart from the walls going up the stairs. Seal caulking on granite countertops is peeling.

Charlotte and Raul were a pleasure and definitely made a great home buying experience. Of course there were bumps at times but those folks made it a lot better in the end. Would definitely recommend the experience of biying a home from Centex homes.

Buying a Centex home with Mike and Tim is a great experience! They were both very responsive and knowledgeable.

It was great overall I had some hard times but that comes with buying a house. I’m glad I choose to work with them and would do it again!

Some hiccups along the way as it always is with building but builder helped get through them smoothly! Our new home is beautiful couldn't be happier!

The tile in my master bathroom is cracking open in the shower

Bad experience with pulte mortgage . It Took 3 week to approve my mortgage in Newyork, it took 4 months for pulte in texas to approve it. Delayed for no reason. Used to take 2 weeks to process each document. Made us go in circles. Other than that Home buying experience was great. Working with bernar was awesome. He was always polite and knowledgeable. Mathew ( our home builder) was great. He was very friendly, always responsive and professional. He went above and beyond to guide us on home building process. Tim was very helpful and informative.

Andrew is wonderful and made the whole process as painless as possible. He was extremely thorough with the walk through as well as any questions I had with quick and timely responses. He took his time and explained every detail about the house which was tremendously helpful as a first time home buyer. All issues were addressed and any infractions with the house were also addressed within a timely manner. He is 10/10 for customer service and overall knowledge.

Some of the workmanship and materials used were done poorly. Overall, not bad, but for the price, could have been completed neater and better materials used such as bathroom and kitchen fixtures. Takes a long long time for work to be addressed and/or done to fix work poorly done. Disappointed with that.

I had an overall positive experience. Amy R. was great! I was buying from overseas and only my wife was able to meet in person. She was helpful and knowledgeable. The building process up until the end was also positive. Our only issue was our communication and problem solving with Ethan F. We had some issues pointed out during our walkthroughs that were not addressed until the morning of closing. We had to push our closing back and some of them still were not resolved or done so not to standard. He assured us we would be able to contact him after closing, but he was not responsive at all.

Just wanted to keep it short and sweet, Centex made the home buying experience as easy as possible. They were timely, kept me in the loop on updates, were professional and were accommodating in explaining the process and lightening the stress. Shout out to Kelli and Matt for being wonderful and helpful.

The buying and building process was easy. There isn’t much I would change.

Love my house and the location!

I will share my experience and highlight 2 categories. 1.) Customer Service; the overall customer service was excellent! The builder was attentive, responsive, and eager to work with me. 2.) Quality of craftsmanship: the job seemed rushed and it showed. There was paint splattered on the carpet, blotches of paint on doors, cracks on the driveway, and the crown on the kitchen shelves was loose. I put in a work request to have these and several other issues addressed before the one year warranty expires.

I had a wonderful buying experience while leaving at the home I’ve had some issue that where quickly addressed in a timely manner unfortunately the floors seem sorta cheap and part of the shower head is coming off and the back door gets stuck it hard to open and close but other than that I’ve had a 4star experience
