My experience with Centex was fantastic, the superintendent Josh and Jonathan were awesome they called me every week to give me updates anything I had a concern with they took care of right away very responsive could not have asked for a better experience. Even the sales woman was fantastic she was involved and took videos for us as well during the construction phase I would highly recommend Centex to anyone buying a home whether it’s your first home or multiple homes. Best homebuying experience I’ve ever had and this is my fifth home.

They only do the bare minimum and no follow up on issues.

Price is pretty comparable to other builders. The work however…SHODDY WORKMANSHIP!!! I wish I could post pictures. The turnaround time on the home was FAST but unfortunately the workmanship suffers. All the work from the cement subfloor to the paint and texture to the cabinets is poorly done. Unfortunately, we did not notice the majority of these things until we moved in. We closed two months earlier than expected so that should’ve been a red flag!!! Salesman and construction manager were very communicative though!

Quality of products to build home are LOW. WINDOWS ARE 'CHEAP' type. Paid over 500k, i would expect at least a tilt in but expected double hung style. Craftmanship is average to low. No access to front of attic area over garage or front of house. Layout of home is excellent. Outside looks very nice.

The build quality is not there most of the workers are drinking during the day no supervision project managers just come and unlock the house in the morning and lock it up in the evening they do not check every time a stage of the build is finished they wait till the end of the build I've never seen them punch any blue tape on the second floor homes exterior so I guess it's just what they can see at ground level on there exterior walk for imperfections both my exterior hose faucets were not secure to the 2x4 and my master bathroom leaked into my downstairs bedroom they forgot to tighten the connection to the pipe shoty work because lack of supervision landscape laid right on top of your weeds no tilling my tree died already they said there's no warranty on landscape me and my neighbor got the same keys for our homes so I went and purchased my own they said no reimbursement could be made for me were the quality and the stand behind pledge? ... Great personnel to work with. Can't sing their praises enough!

I have bought sever new construction homes and have had the opportunity to experience an array of quality in this experiences. This has been by far the worst homebuying experience I have had. My house was months late, the realtor and construction team did not communicate the delays to me in a timely manner which left me homeless for months. The quality of workmanship is horrible and the perks or upgrades and general quality of chosen for the house such as light fixtures and restroom fixtures are the lowest quality for what this house cost me. I will never recommend Pulte Homes or Centex to anyone. I was not taken care of a customer and this company does not provide a truly quality product. It’s all smoke and mirrors. ... More

Our builder Roy was great, very responsive to questions.

We only had contact with the construction supervisors, Josh and Dorian. Both re thorough, helpful, and responsive to concerns.

We ended up getting reassigned a new construction manager halfway through the build process (Brandon) who made sure to communicate and coordinate with us throughout the build process. Pleasant experience overall.

We loved the houses and community since we visited it. The experience with sales, title, mortgage, and construction wasn’t the best. Bad communication and some staff were somewhat unprofessional, last minute and don’t explain everything to you. My construction manager changed 4 times and it was a terrible experience. Tried to get a hold with a mortgage rep to ask questions about closing costs, no one got back to me Title waited til last minute to provide wiring instructions and during closing had to wait hours to confirm they received it just because they were late providing that info to me House is still full of wall scratches, blue tape, and light not working even after closing ... The sales staff was kind and prompt in responding to my query. The construction manager ensured that all the small defects were fixed quickly. My personal home inspector said that the house was built well. I am pleased with the over all experience. I am inclined to buy a second house with centex/pulte for their good build quality.

Josh had done a great job, always responding in a timely manner and getting the few things that was needed fixed in a timely manner, great superintendent.

The whole process was easy and everyone involved was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Exterior paint details, wall finish details, carpet details, grass and trees issues, exterior details, concrete details, cleaning

Allica was a great help, being we were moving from a nother state Repairs upon walk through were noted by both my son & us. They were to be fixed prior to closing. We did not walk through again. After closing we went to the house and repairs were not done. Spoke with GC about repairs and higher ups by text messages. It has been 2 month with dry little done

The home buying experience went well but the issues highlighted in my engineer’s pre closing inspection were not all addressed when we were told that they had been corrected, When we did the post closing walk through the condition of the floors was disgusting also the windows had not been cleaned. My summation is Centex could and should pay more attention to the condition of the home before turning it over to the purchaser this experience has not given us any faith in anything a Centex representative says.

My experience was bad.The quality, finishing,windows screens are not installed. Grading of my landscape which has water sitting on the side of house.

One month in and found a clogged sink, a leaky toilet, windows that won’t close, and ants. Warranty team is great fixing, but…

Very Nice and beautiful home quality

Centex always places blame on suppliers and vendors, never taking responsibility. They do no hold suppliers and vendors accountable. Workmanship flaws and Centex is not concerned because they have a deposit and contract and move to the next potential buyer.

We really like our home and the buying was smooth, but the longer we are here we are noticing a bit of cutting corners and sloppy workmanship in dryewall taping, patching of holes/painting, cracks in corners etc. Lana with warranties is great!

I love my home Amy and Ethan was the best.

There are lots of small things which are not complete.
