Employees are very professional

This was a smooth process for my first home buying experience. You truly have to be prepared and ready for this process. They ask for so much information and you have to be ready. I would recommend Centex for anyone looking to purchase a home through them.

front door seal not 100 % airtight, so many scratches at the walls and little dings on the tiles. toilet bowl to close to side wall for elderly hard to stand up. outside area have drainage issues

The buying process with Centex was virtually painless, they walked me through every step of the way. The construction manager was awesome and returned my calls when requested to do so. My only suggestion is to pay attention to small details, I didn’t realize the lack of storage as there’s only one storage closet near the master and none for the secondary bedrooms. Also there could be more cabinets and better flooring. I understand the use and said durability of LVT flooring, but the glue doesn’t adhere well and a click and lock system or wood look tile would have been better suited for the home. Aside from these things I am pretty happy with my purchase although the home I purchased was nearly completed when I picked it and wasn’t aware that sod was not included in the backyard and due to the stage in building I was not allowed to add it. Add 1 month to the estimated closing date they give you, and make sure you hire a 3rd party inspector because there will be shortcuts found that need to be addressed

I had some issues with moving in with some things needed fixing but Cody kept the communication open and promptly was on top of getting these issues resolved! Also, I’ve only been there 2 weeks and had needed to call Pulte once about my air conditioner not working right and they resolved it immediately—within the hour, a technician came out to fix it. Pulte did a follow up call the next day. Very prompt service.

Our builder Rick was very informative during the process of the building and finishing of the house. the last time we met with him, he told me to contact him first if i found any issues that needed to be repaired or replaced. he mentioned that it would be easier to get him to fix the problem instead of submitting a ticket to customer care. i messaged him a couple times with minimal response, and at the end he just said submit a ticket. i appreciate him trying to make me feel like i could count on him(which i know he is supper busy and would not be able to do so) maybe just leave the "call me first" out. this was our first brand new home, so of course we wanted someone there at all times. like i said other than this, everything else was good. he was very professional and informative. ... Builder refuse to communicate to fix issues in the house after occupancy. Garage has cracks in the floor, unfinish concrete interior borders. garage roll up door does not sit flat on the concrete floor. you can see light thru the garage roll up door. Hot water tank AC drips on the garage floor, receptacles and switches in the house does not work . dish washer leaks, rear glass door no handle, sloppy paint job. Pulte issued me a warrant

I love my house but there have been some minor things and major thing that have been disappointing. The major thing is my house is full of roaches, I’ve never had roaches before and now I am finding them all over. It’s making my living experience nearly unbearable.

After the closing of the house , the sales agent doesn’t reply the general question. I had some mails coming . I just texted back to my agent . No reply . At he could have said he doesn’t know about that or talk to different person . No reply at all. Like we don’t have no relationship once his sale is completed .

I went to closing all the way from Tennessee to Florida than find out they hadn't been finished my house that's happened 2 times

Overall experience: Loan process: good if you understand the home buying process, it was my first home so I ended up googling a lot of information as the loan processors weren’t necessarily proactive in providing all the needed details to understand next steps. Friendly people however. Construction: needs improved communication. Closing window kept on getting pushed with no communication, making it hard for buyers to schedule furniture or appliance deliveries around it. Workmanship, overall I feel I got the worse in quality. My father and family and myself of course were very dissatisfied and disappointed at the poor quality of the work. Lots of damaged and dented door frames and baseboards. The quality of the repairs isn’t much better necessarily. Many little visual repairs were pending plus I keep on finding more after 4 weeks in. Painters are definitely not professional, siding is not neatly cleaned. Window frames needed cleanup and painters stained walls and stones with their dirty brushes. Broken or damaged materials installed as if I was buying a non-new home. Warranties were presented to me after 3 weeks of moving in and it’s my understanding I didn’t get all the paperwork I should’ve, unless I’m overlooking something. Overall it’s been quite frustrating, lots of personal time invested in correcting things, bringing contractors in to fix issues, all while trying to work and putting my house together. Lots of guessing around services such as HOA registration and trash pick up. I love the neighborhood and the idea of what my home would look like if it was perfectly done. But honestly, I would let everyone know to be extra careful and more demanding of details, quality and communication before buying a home here.
