I have no complaints about Centex as an agent. I would only recommend that they have a design center so it is easier to pick out your options within the home. A electronic design center that buyers can do on their free time to pick and choose options for their home. I am not a fan of Pulte Homes. We were promised a lot of things before we closed that NEVER happened or were fixed. After we closed our builder (Chaz) acted like we never bought a home from them. We can’t even get a friendly wave as he is standing out side of our new home and makes eye contact. There was no follow up or communication with the builder to fix what he promised us before closing or within the first 30 days of our home like he promised. We were contacted by customer support at our 30 day mark and had to ask for them to fix what the builder promised us would be fixed before our first 30 days in the home. So far they are helping us but we are waiting for things to be actually fixed as we hit our 60 day mark in the home. As a first time homebuyer this made my experience stressful and upsetting. In the end we realized that the builder was lying to us about what he was going to do for us to get us to just close on the home. If I had to build a home I wouldn’t want to have Pulte do it because of our experience. I’m the end we do love our home but we wish that our home was built with more attention to detail. This is all not to mention that we were 4 days late closing due to failing to receive a CO. ... More

I don't care about some of the petty rules the company made. I needed them to accommodate my schedule and not for me to accommodate theirs. This meeting all the time was not going to fit my schedule when email and texting would work. Don't state the obvious. I can read. They were way behind getting my home done and the excuse was that the shortage of what ever was the cause. Other houses started way after mine were being completed. Work should have been diverted to finishing my home as promised. Home quality sucks and things I mentioned were a problem were never reviewed and fixed. I was so desperate to get into my home that I just moved and fixed myself (I am 69 yo female). I was informed that it was not like my house cost a million dollars and imperfection was to be expected on some things. This was my million dollar home!! ... More

The experience was great all the people from the sales department were excellent and knowledgeable and Karl the construction manager was very responsive.

Everything they said they will do was done, communication was awesome. The quality of the materials is great our house is comfortable and the area is peaceful

It was a great experience working with the builders from start to end. They were very professional and went beyond all things to get my place ready as scheduled. Great jobs guys.

Prior to closing everyone was quick in responding to emails and phone calls. Once we closed it became hard to contact builder. Thanks to our buyers realtor we had answers to questions and issues. We are still waiting for all issues listed prior to closing to be resolved. Buyers should consult a buyers realtor to help in looking for issues prior to closing. Several items that were observed after closing cannot to corrected. Buyers should go over their build carefully prior to closing.

Our sales agent Myra was a great help along the way she made the home buying process simple. We did sign for our new home to be built right as delays started happening down the supply chain but we understood that. Once our home started to take shape you could see everything falling into place, the construction team we had Kolby and Ardit were to notch, they were available to take and answer questions anytime and were always friendly. Going thru Pulte also just seemed perfect and also having them handle the insurance it was all like one stop. The whole team at Pulte is great

From the very beginning with Kim as our representative we had a very easy and knowledgeable experience. Of course these were unprecedented times in home building with both the pandemic and materials logistics issues. Nonetheless, communication was very good and after a 13 month process we were in our new beautiful Centex home.

So many things could have been handled better but we're tired of talking about it now.

I was hoping that frustrations during my closing period would improve, but it has gotten worse. Now that I am in the home, I am noticing cut corners and serious shortcuts taken with things like the electrical. The build team seems to not want to deal with me, passing me off to the Pulte service team, who I have called four times in the last two weeks without any followup from the local agent I need to speak to. Every time I pull back a layer of this home, I seem to find a new issue, which is a very bad feeling to have. Sorely disappointed and quickly developing a case of buyer's remorse.

The entire experience was great, especially Chris, our build superintendent. He went above and beyond to insure we had everything we needed.

Well the actual process went of the house being built went ok I guess. My construction managers assured me that all the issues I was seeing would be fixed before closing. This is where my issue started. I was forced to close or have a daily penalty of $200/day until I did. All the while my sheetrock joints and many other things were not fixed as I was promised. I’ve been in my home for over a month and here’s a list of most of my biggest things that need fixed still. They seem to only want to fix one thing at the time and it takes weeks to get that one done. Sheetrock seems all over the house, many places in the trim work,from door doesn’t close properly, painter steps in paint and walked all over my back porch and garage,electrical issues, rust on my cement patio from nails being left on it in the rain, shower heads not directly above/in-line with the water knob. The builders did not do a good job building this house. So many issues. They are not getting them done.

A measure of a builder's success is the threshold between craftsmanship and time. Craftmanship is the detail quality of work, and time is the cost of building it. When time takes precedence over craftmanship, the outcome is loss of customer confidence, extended costs, and future revenue losses. Details matter.

Pulte mortgage was horrible, I had to find my own trusted lender for the whole buying process to switch, unfortunately I lost my $7000 incentive when I took that route. Sales staff was great and very responsive and informative. Building manager was great and made sure to handle every concern. Warranty team is also great and very quick and responsive. My only building issues so far that I have seen throughout the whole home is that the walls are very uneven, and its unfortunately obvious. builders did not take their time to make sure walls were straight and it makes me wonder how much attention they put into everything else in the home. ... The drive it’s and some other small over look things need to be paid more attention to be a we didn’t see them till we moved in now we playing the waiting game with warranty to get fixed and corrected. Next time we will look at things more detail because the little things matter too.

If you get the opportunity to work with Porter you won't be disappointed !! Nice floor plans and upgrades. A couple of upgrades I wish were available - hardwood in the upstairs and an upgrade on the kitchen appliances.

I love my home. Centex conceptualizes a beautiful look and appeal. My concern is workmanship it was poor all around. I never had a final walk through it was a 1001 things some major some minor that’s needed repair. Everything from the walkway to the bathrooms constant workmanship issues. And the response has been horrific I’m in two months now and still waiting for repairs to be completed. From spilling paint in carpet to, to broken cabinets in kitchen, to unleveled doors and crooked trim and every crooked placed Sheetrock and ripples in the ceiling. Its the contracted workers poor installment, as if they were unskilled. It has been so bad I’m been depressed about the entire move. It was the experience I thought I would have walking into my new home. Exceedingly disappointed. Positives are the home is gorgeous the materials appear to be quality and emphasize the beauty.
