Overall we are happy with our builder and the home that was completed.

Overall this has been a terrible experience. House was not finished when we closed. A/C and furnace wired backwards, causing the furnace to constantly trip the breaker during cold weather (got that fixed about 5 weeks after closing), back porch catches water by the back door (sloped wrong direction - under re-construction now), sprinkler system did not work, master bath shower would not drain (not slow - didn't drain at all and had water in shower basin for 2 weeks), waited about a month for the appropriate front door knob to be installed, living room HVAC vent would not open, paint spilled on garage floor and concrete is discolored. Paint and workmanship is sloppy and needs plenty of touchups. Asked for paint so we could do some touch-ups ourselves but still don't have that. Closed 6 weeks ago and still waiting for lots to be fixed. Contractors that do come by track mud and make a mess. Back yard needs re-sodding where some contractors made it into a mud pit. I feel sorry for the people working for CenTex. I assume they are well-intentioned but this development really is a mess. ... More

Overall, we enjoy our Centex home. It is our fist home purchase and so we were a little less picky, and the market in our area is extremely competitive, with the costs of homes going through the roof. The home seems to be build well generally. But all of the details were clearly rushed. The detailed paint job we sloppy, the landscaping wasn't great. But none of the issues so far have been irreversible. And considering the market, the price point was desirable. So overall, it is a good house, not a great house.

Prior to moving in there were squeaks and uneven flooring, wood sticking out in in t he garage ceiling. The kitchen was flooded from a water line burst. Also the garage walls and floors had water leaks. Some door knobs and hitch loose. Over all, I think detailing is very poor. There is still squeaks and a brand new home should not feel like a fixer up.

The houses have very good quality, the price is in line with what one expects to pay for a house that we call HOME, and the sector is quiet and safe, in addition to being a beautiful place to live. Just one detail when we visited the model house for the first time, which was that they told us that the houses included the security system and alarms, and when we received it they told us that they did not...

Forced closing prior to home being fully built. Builder unwilling to postpone closing buy two days so that I could have an inspection done on a home which was built, instead had to do inspection on home with no gas lines, holes in stucco, unfinished bathroom, etc.. Will never do business with Pulte or Centex again

The quality of the homes, the materials and the people in every level during the entire process. Incredible, very happy with our home and our decision to be this one our forever retired home.

Love the home and builder quality,we wish the home came with a shower door, and wish it had a water softener loop hookup Also an option for gas stove and dryer.but glad we bought and pulse incentives were nice

Everyone involved was so helpful and attentive. They only issues we have had is with the paint used in the home and the way the flooring was laid - we already, after 1 month, have some boards that are lifting.

Two things worthy of consideration: First, they install cheap end appliances. Second, they do a really LOUSY job on the interior painting of our home. The home warranty folks are coming today to hopefully repaint everything. If I had to do it over again, I would NOT close on the home until the painting was to my satisfaction. That being said, they have honored their word so far so I expect no issues.

During the sales, they were the ones who suggested a completion date that had a 2 months float. However, they completed the house 4 months after the date they provided. They did this just to get our initial deposit. Craftmanship is not the best, the light fixtures are as cheap as they come (in a $359K house we were expecting more). They backyard does not have the proper slope and grading so is always wet and cannot be used. I have been trying to have them fix this for 3 months now and all they do is give excuses. They gave me a closing date without the final inspection and appraisal been done so, we lost another week before we could move in. ... More

Terrible experience with the builder, wish I never bought from Centex (Pulte). They talk about delays, but when you see other home being built and your is not, very disappointing. Communication is terrible, updated email don't tell you the truth on what is going on with your home. After the move in so many issue from leaky windows, floors having bubbles, cabinets not installed correctly, access to attic left open. pressure washing horrible, The yard is full of nails, razer blades, cut metals. Doors don't open on close correctly, bedroom shelfing falls down. No bang for your buck with this company. Do your homeworker, get anything promised in writing from the sales department. They are a great team and are helpful throughout the process.

Overall the home is great but they cut alot of corners that I didn't notice until I fully moved in. Some things I'm already have to call warranty on less than 30 days in my home.

Centex constructions manager and warranty personnel are not on top of things. The workmanship is inferior, and the quality of the house is not what I was expected for someone paying over $300,000 in San Antonio. Two months after closing escrow, Centex never completed the items identified during our home walkthrough. The second-story floors are squeaky and uneven. I am concerned about the way Centex framed my house. The exterior painting was poorly done. You can see all the irregular spray marks all over the place. The driveway and front of the house were dirty, and the roof was full of paint. It was unfortunate to get the keys to our new home and find it like that. ... More

I did not have the best customer experience from the sales through the build experience. Once we signed the contract, we felt like a number and not a client. Poor communication throughout the process. We pointed out several build quality issues throughout build. Only closer of the build came in and tried to rectify the issues we pointed out and could provide honest answers and time frames.

The buying experience was good but everything went down hill once I closed on the home. No cable box on my street due to which I have not been able to get an internet connection since I closed in the end of December. The drains in all the toilets started clogging and bubbling up. Right from the contractor to the customer service no one has been of any help even after several phone calls or texts. Please do not buy a Centex home

What lived in our home for almost 2 months now. We keep finding new things wrong or missing in our house. We are extremely upset with how this house was built. We should be happy and enjoying our dream home but instead we are chasing the builder to fix all the issues
