I was most upset that as the newer homes are being built, less options / upgrades are offered. I mean, seriously, how hard would it have been to put the plumbing in for the water softener? Why was this totally deleted? Now to have this done properly will be an additional $1000 that could have been done cheaper as in previous houses. Why were the brick and stone upgrades deleted? You can see the difference through the neighborhood - and, my house cost $60,000 more. Bad decisions by Centex management.

The quality of the house is very poor. There are a lot of issues inside the house. My field manager made me to sign the closing document and promised me that he will fix all issues in a week but it’s been 2 months. No one is addressing my issues. Paint is already coming off from walls. Even a small strain on the wall is not going when I rub on it. I paid 3000$ extra for painting. I am very much disappointed with this. There are a lot of squeaking noises in second floor. I am not sure if it is a structural issue or carpet issue. I dropped emails to my field manager and RDUWarranty but no one is willing to address my issue. I didn’t expect this from Pulte. They are losing their brand value. ... More

The floorpan I choose is great and meets the needs of my family. I love the location of the neighborhood and customer service -Keri-is wonderful. My Field Manager -Alex-is great, knowledgeable and helpful.

Centex called me plenty of times to deliver updates on the house and for our first time buying a home it went very smooth. Don was great to work with as well as Kenny and Andrew. They made us feel secure in buying our new home and when issues arose they provided quick solutions such as when they had to put a different type of brick in.

We decided we wanted one of these beautiful Centex homes almost a year ago. We fell in love with the models & optimistically picked a 5 Br, 3 Ba home - we’re empty nesters! As our lot was decided, as the slab was poured, as the house was framed - EVERY step along the way, we got updates, texts, photos & we were 2000 miles away. None of this was required, but the sales Rep Danny did it anyway! We moved to within 30 minutes of our future home & visited often. The construction managers Drew, Nick, & Byron continued to update us & answer our questions(& we had a lot!) as progress was made! I cannot say enough about the great job from those 3 guys as well as Danny & Iryna in the front office! Moving a long distance with 3 big dogs & building our 1st new home is a monumental undertaking, but they made it so much easier for us!! We’re now moved in (4 weeks ago) & we’ve seen a few slight imperfections (really slight!), but we absolutely LOVE this house! Craftsmanship is terrible. A brand new construction looks like a horribly renovated home. The brand new construction we closed on looks like it's been lived in by squatters. It does not look brand new. Sales rep and construction manager were very helpful. They just needed a lot of following up. Other than that, they provided good customer service.

Extremely happy with our home and the building process!

Buying the home was seamless and without any issues from the initial purchase contract with Valen, who explained my purchase options fully and assisted in the selection of the upgrades. When the construction started, Dan and Shane kept me updated weekly and answered all my questions fully on all phases of the construction. From feedback from others, the construction is exceptional. Customer service is exceptional, and the few issues after moving in have been taken care of immediately and professionally. Highly recommend PULTE/CENTEX homes.

I recently purchased a new home at Carters Station. The home was not ready at closing. The home “celebration” was a disaster. Much of what was supposed to be fixed wasn’t and still hasn’t been corrected, even though I closed over a month ago. There are still serious issues with the ceilings, floor, dry wall, paint, nails left in the carpet, leaking facet, etc. The home was a mess upon move in, with TONS of sanded dry wall patching debris in the carpet, staples left on the stairs that my kids stepped on. Stay away from Centex Homes, POOR Workmanship, POOR Quality Control, POOR Materials, they DO NOT CRAE about customers, we are just a number to them! Take your money somewhere else! There are plenty of builders that offers better value for your money.

This house was built so poorly, I would need to take over 100 photos to show someone. I can't even begin to try and describe the issues from walls being crooked, lack of 90-degree angles, lack of caulk where it needs to be, massive gaps that were caulked instead of properly worked. The trades this company hires to do their work are absolutely garbage. Overall worst experience and in the community Facebook group, I am one of the hundreds of people who have had a worse or similar experience. Centex should be closed down.

Polite, professional, and quick to respond to questions/concerns.

The entire process was smooth for the most part. The builder did transition between building managers so we had a few communication break downs. The biggest area of opportunity for them is the landscape and sod installation. I am not happy with the sod being delivered brown and sitting for a few days, no top soil used, and the landscapers laying it down on rock without racking it out

Never trust the builder for the words. if it is a legal document then they will do it. else it is just an eyewash. never sign anything if you are unhappy especially not on their words. they always over promise and under deliver. Phrases like " We will do it by next week"-- they never happen. Very painful experience...

They rush to finish the homes. had to push out my closing date. And the inside of the home still had things to get fixed even after my closing. Sloppy work on some areas of the house. Centex is an ok builder. Homes should be supervised better and more careful before giving a firm closing date.

Our experience with the builder’s team was great. They delivered on what they promised in a timely fashion. Before selecting to buy a Centex home, I read many great reviews and based on our experience, they exceeded our expectations.

I love the neighborhood and the neighbors.

I have lived in this home for 3 weeks and have had to put in 3 work orders. Most of my outlets do not work, I had a huge leak which caused my water to turn off. They were suppose to send out the irrigation people to fix it, this still has not happened. My backyard and front yard was supposed to be re-rolled. This has not happened. My oven does not work submitted a work order has yet to hear from the people about fixing it. My outlets under the sink did not work, so I couldn’t use mh garbage disposal, i had water backed up in my sink. It took over 2 weeks for someone to come fix it. My oulets are still not working. This has been a horrible experience thus far. ... More
