It’s a great community

Centex has not been a good experience. Everyone was warm and welcoming in the beginning, but they are not to be trusted. They force you to close before everything is correct and they tell you it’ll be no problem to get it fixed. Once you reach out, it’s hard for them to fix it. They cut corners and try to make you feel like you’re stupid or wrong for asking them to fix it. If I’m paying this much for a house, I would like it to be done correctly. Maybe they were rushing or maybe the contractors weren’t being supervised properly by the construction managers. I’m not the only one who’s had bad experiences. They use quality products in the home building process

Everyone was great and helpful. Made building a home while living in another state easier.

Be patient and keep on top of the process to get the answers you need. They will give them to you and make your experience over the top

I ended up liking the end result, but getting there was barely worth it. it took almost a year from signing the initial contract to close. The sales people are completely clueless and will just say things they think you want to hear. I went in for a scheduled appointment more than once and they didn't remember who I was or why I was there and even pulled up the wrong account. I had to ask about closing weekly. the contract said July and I didn't close until almost September. half the time my emails were completely ignored. I was not even given an idea to plan about when to end my current lease. it was awful. The construction team was awesome though. They were better at communicating. ... More

Wao unbelievable was amazing experience that my wife and I experiment, starting with Monica, and Kyle, make everything for us like a walking in the park, I don't any in negative way, ALL IS POSITIVE,,THANKS CENTEX HOME for giving the opportunity to have my new HOME, appreciated. I really enjoyed working with my builder! He was super helpful throughout the whole process! However, I did not enjoy the Pulte mortgage experience. They did not keep me updated with all the information.

Nothing but lies and wrong information. Very poor workmanship that even the sub-contractors that were hired by Pulte and were told to come and fix all the issues we encountered said that "Pulte has gotten a very bad reputation for delivering very poor products, they cut corners, use very cheap materials, hire just about anyone to do as much as possible and move on to the next victim." "Bottom line (money and huge profits) is the goal for them." Next, what I just shared is not the exact words that were used by the contractors but close enough to get the point across. We have lost so much hard earned money from our savings because of Pulte. It's been 2 months since we have moved in, and there are still other serious issues that need fixing, namely, 80% of the kitchen cabinets (supposedly brand new) need to be replaced because they are either damaged or warped. It's nothing but a nightmare. This home was not free so that we would say...well it's free, so we got an excellent deal. We are paying mortgage on this home. How these executives at Pulte sleep at night is clear evidence that they don't get down and dirty to make sure that everything that is done is with high standards, they just simply don't care. It's all about the money, and how many fancy and luxurious stuff they can accumulate. Clear case of lack of morals. You can't take it with you, and as far as I'm concerned, and those who are in the same shoes as my wife and I are in, you people at Pulte left a very bad taste in our mouths. Buying a home is stressful and difficult. Building a home is just the same. If you go into the process expecting to experience stress because of the nature of the life event, you will be very satisfied with Centex (or any other Pulte-branded home). These people work so incredibly hard for their customers. It may not always seem so when you don't get a response to an email with a couple hours, however once you get into the process, you see your sales counselor at the sales center with back-to-back appointments and your field manager out on site walking multiple homes a day while also maintaining appointments with other customers, vendors and inspectors, you realize they really care about the quality of the home they build for their customers. Building a home is by no means a simple process comparable to picking out a brand of cereal to buy at the grocery store, however Centex makes it as easy and simple as they can within reason. The mortgage process (we used Pulte Mortgage Company) was also very simple and we always had a point of contact we could go to with concerns at any time. The follow-up experience from our field manager has been fantastic as well. He even notified us a month after closing (which is when all work should have been forwarded to the warranty department) that our range had a dent on the side (which wasn't visible when slid into the cabinetry) which he had previously forgotten about since our home was obtaining certificate of occupancy with that range. He forgot to replace it during that time and stopped by our home to check and let us know he'd be replacing it as soon as possible. The follow up and care for the homes in our neighborhood are superb and we could not be happier. The sales team, mortgage team, and construction team did a wonderful job setting expectations with us and fulfilling those expectations perfectly. There were no surprises and while the process was naturally stressful, as any home purchase would be, none of it was worth writing home about. We are very happy with our new home. ... More

I was delighted to have an awesome team build my dream house, it was even better to have it built by an awesome person and friend Daniel who has bent over backwards to make our experience one to remember for years to come. Thank you Daniel to you and your team for everything!

They overall finish quality was rushed and detail work was not so great. For the price these house are being sold they are not worth it. I regret making the decision to make this my families first house and if i could leave i would. I am not happy in this house and by what the website reviews show nobody else who purchased one of these over priced fast rushed crappy detail work is happy. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!

Make sure you getting a private home inspector. Triple check everything. Electrical outlets, door fitment, non level window sils and valances, paint, trim work ondition. Too much to mention. Rather disappointed for price we paid.

I have moved in after 2 months of delay, I didn't get my fridge delivered yet. My frames are not completely painted. The final touches are not complete and I have a window that is broken and it is yet to be changed.

I love the home. It's a huge upgrade from the apartment life we were living. However, the builders were told multiple times about issues that should have been fixed early. Instead walls had to be tore out the days before closing to get repaired. Multiple doors are installed crooked and won't stay open. Parts are missing from doors as well as hinges and door knobs poorly installed. Obviously there was a mad rush to slap together the rest of the home toward the end to finish in time for closing. Items still aren't done that were requested day of closing. Trim outside and inside is painted poorly and sloppily. Fence was never finished at the corner of the home. While I am happy with the house overall, the quality and care didn't exist. The employees we dealt with were lovely people however, I would never hire the painters or the cleaners for another job again. The amount of paint on our new carpet was ridiculous and the horrible cleaning job could have been done better by my 7 year old. As far as the build goes, time will tell. I believe the construction was done well other than the issues mentioned above. The sales agent, the building superintendent and the final closing superintendent were all nice and they kept us informed through the build. But there is a lot left to be desired for the final touches of the home. I am not sure I would recommend CENTEX in the future. Maybe if they slowed down toward the end and hired better painters and cleaners. ... More

Well the sales rep Jermey was great but now I still don’t have hurricane fabric that should have been in the house before I moved in back in mid October. My construction manager Jake keeps saying he’ll get with the contractor but still no fabric. Thankfully it’s past hurricane season.

My experience was overall good, I felt like my needs as far as construction and loan process was beyond amazing! Shout out to Marcelo the field manager he was very detail and at first the home was not to my liking but he managed to get mostly everything done. I would like to point out the sales consultant Michelle is the reason I can't give 5 stars due to her being rude to my Realtor and my family. She called me a lair on several occasions on our previous conversations we had even when I had text messages from her to prove what she said. She didn't greet me and the door instead she stayed on the phone and completely ignored me. The saving grace from there is Larua she was very polite and at least acknowledged my Realtor and I when we walked in. ... More

House was not ready when we moved in due to a building supervisor issue and have a horrible time getting responses to issues ( door not licking properly, closet doors not attached, fire alarms going off, no water pressure)

Great from beginning to end.

Poor quality of material, i finded many unprofessional mistakes, not really satisfied,let see about the 10 years warranty!

From the moment we walked in the office until the final walkthrough, we were thoroughly pleased. Our questions were answered quickly and our concerns were dealt with professionally.

These folks have a great salesperson without a fulfillment team to back them up. The field manager is unresponsive, inept, and is frankly over his head.

Nothing is good. Not at all happy with quality

Still plenty of things that need to get done.
