My family came across Centex in our home search and found that the Lincoln floor plan would perfectly fit out needs. As first-time homebuyers, the agent walked us through the process of the purchase agreement and any necessary change orders. She worked well with our realtor which was important to us because we were out of state during this process. My lending agent was pleased with the responsiveness of Pulte's title company as well for a smooth closing process. Centex's field manager, Robert, and his team did a great job with the house's quality. My family and I were very impressed when we arrived for the walkthrough. I had the time of my life purchasing my first home they helped me from start to finish it was a very simple and easy process. The S. Bloomfield team (Scott and David) were fantastic to work with and made the buying experience a simple, and painless process. The workmanship was as expected and they have been awesome to work with in regards to touch-ups, discoveries and other minor issues that goes with home buying. Nothing is ever 100%, but they go above and beyond to ensure that things are done as expected!

Overall its a good experiece!! Sales team was good but couldnt give us more options to choose. Field manager was responsive in most of the situations..but couldnt clarify or help in few things. Smart home set up is not user friendly or not clear from beginning. Guardian thinks they did good job but with all advanced technology out in market i dont think it is great.

The biggest issues we had while buying the house was that there was 2 times our loan got suspended and no one ever contacted us which pushed our closing date out an additional month. I had to call and check up on our loan because it went silent for a couple weeks and then was told, “oh well, you’re loan went suspended. It happens another time after that. I will say that towards the end of the actual time we closed, I know the lenders were working very hard to make it happen.

Centex builders ensure homes are well built and affordable. All in all I would say I got great value for money paid considering its been a seller's market for a while now.

Claudia was Uber patient with us as first time home buyers. We were pretty indecisive but ended up wanting the home. John was great at helping us through the process as well. He was responsive and would help with things even after we closed on the home because there are things you don't notice until after you move into the home. John took it upon himself to make sure everything was fixed and more.

We had a few hiccups but Tyler personally fixed all of our issues. Y’all should give him a raise that guy is a superhero.

The loan and approval process was super easy and as a first time home buyer this made it a better than expected experience. The inspector explained everything and was prompt when responding to emails regarding our home construction timeline. We’ve been in our home since summer of 2021 and can say we have piece of mind knowing we have a new home with new electrical, plumbing, and HVAC that are still covered under warranty. My biggest concerns are the upstairs sub floor joints are uneven with each other and can be felt on your feet through the carpet when walking upstairs. Dry wall is cracking at sheet rock joints right above our dinner table, as well as in lots of corners where the metal edging ends. There’s a big area in our living room that looks like it was patched but didn’t turn out so well. We didn’t even see it until we moved our furniture around and noticed it. Tile grout is already cracking and in the laundry room we can tell not enough mortar was applied to the outer tiles, which flex when walking on them. I can go on and on, these just bother me the most. I understand what builder grade materials are and know things will not be perfect as far as the cosmetic concerns go, but if the workmanship is not there from the beginning, I can’t trust that this home was built well and can not recommend this builder to anyone. The people have been absolutely great and we love our new home. The quality of the work done wasn’t as amazing; minor cosmetic issues.

Everyone who helped us with the purchase our home, were professional. Extremely helpful, customer service and satisfaction driven team members. It started with sales, the loan, then the construction. Closing, the closing was easy, exciting, fantastic. Exceptional customer service orientated group of people. Thank you. We enjoyed working with everyone. Overall buying experience is definitely great, no other builder in Katy build so fast and competitive as centex home, I am very happy, I did make the right decision to buy this house otherwise , I could never afford one. Thank you centex home, appreciate your service.

After closing, as the construction supervisor Louie went above and beyond expectation. His professionalism and knowledge was obvious and has continued to help the family get settled in our new home. It is very comforting to know we have the name and personal phone number of someone as willing to help as Louie when questions about the house and the area come up. I have never had a better experience with a new construction home and the after closing support. This guy is golden.

Builders team was great with updates.

i was very pleased with the builders realtor-was always available to answer and assist with any issues.

The mortgage side, title side, insurance we’re all great to work with, but Pulte needs to allow its team more control over their vendors. The detail work was below expectations, that’s even when they decided to show up. Closed 2 months late and it’s a real shame our first home buying experience went this way, rather not do it again
