This was definitely not a good time to build…it took 8 months from contract signing to close. Options were not explained in detail when selecting upgrade options.

Awesome place to leave

The builder team provided very good details information of the features of the property. Also, they responded in a timely fashion. The builder finished the property according to the date scheduled.

Doors in a couple of closets fall down, kitchen bar porous, knee wall loose at second floor, steeples on carpet/tile joint, cheap appliances, not customized options. The rest seems to be ok

When it comes to how the home was built my fiancé was very blind to alot of things. Would I buy another home from centex or refer them to family or friends..no i would not

They're always there to answer questions. Ray and Quinn will answer your phone calls at anytime. That's wonderful. Even after closing my house, they still stop by to check if I'm doing okay. Not forget Michael and the tall guy with the maroon truck who are part of the company. That shows how cooperative , loving and togetherness there're. Total team work. Guys, continue with that spirit.

Great houses, we love our patio and the neighborhood is super quiet

Good quality built house for the price, wish you could make changes & customize more without upgrading full packages.

The house is great but more care should go into the actual homeowner experience. The floor plans need slight adjustment and there was no thought on this location with the warehouse, street and train all so close. Really needs a thicker wall around the perimeter. It makes living here very untenable.

They are known as one of the most fair and affordable builders in my area. They really give you a bang for your buck. The upgrade options are pretty good, however I wish I had a few more choices when it came to colors (both inside and out). They are very communicative throughout the build process and they take your concerns seriously. I am pretty happy with my new home. Very few problems and the few I had were due to contractor shortages/resources and have been quickly resolved.

Great team and very responsive to any concerns or issues

This subdivision has three developers, ashton woods, pulte, and centex (centex owned by pulte) Centex is the 'lowest' grade of these three builders. Quality is good and house has great bones/structure. Where centex missed on the build is the quality of the craftsmanship. Paint blotchiness, tiled grout in globs, floor trim not in alignment. All minor cosmetic items but when paying $$$$ quality should still be an area of importance.

I would rather not share anything. My experience was terrible. Along with many other buyers as they have expressed the same experience to me.

Very easy to work with

This company is large and divided into multiple departments. Because of this, and poor communication, many items were overlooked and never discussed. We didn’t find out many things were “missing” from our home until the final walk-through when it was too late to change. We were very disappointed and now out of pocket thousands of dollars to make these necessary adjustments.

We were lucky to get a Dylan as the construction manager. He addressed all our concerns and also suggested improvements. I enjoyed working with him.

the people of centex are very responsible and professional, friendly and honest people at all times

there was alot of set back getting into our homes, communication was great before closing but after closing most of the communication goes unresponsive. Most time the field manager will do his best to get the issue resolve but he is only one person

I hate to use the word nightmare because I’ve certainly experienced worse. But you definitely don’t get what you pay for. Here I am a month I’m still waiting for someone to come fix the windows that won’t close, paint our outside veranda, install missing lights, and bring missing pieces to our blinds. Upgrades you pay for you have to remind them you paid for or you don’t get them: examples is crown molding, tray ceilings etch What we had to get fixed during the process was crazy: missing screens, attic unit missing pipe covers, shotty painting, wrong tile in kitchen, missing light over shower, chipped and cracked marble/granite, etc. And we put down over 40% cash on this house and got a house I could only compare to a sad reflection on workmanship of what they show you in the model. They take some sweet time building for 6 months and then it’s a mad dash the last 2 weeks to get it ready to move in. I will never build with centex or Pulte again. I’ll stick with Taylor Morrison who for a townhome we had for $100 less what was better quality. ... More

Nice design and layouts

Working with Mike our builder and Cynthia the real estate agent on site was great. Both of them were very personable and easy to work with.
