In terms of the people I worked with, excellent. When it comes to the house, it has been issue after issue and disappointment after disappointment. The way we received our home at closing was a little disturbing to say the least. My wife and 2 kids had been in a 1bd apartment prior to so we were just happy to have space. I highly recommend paying a close eye to detail, trim work and the overall crew who is building. Corona bottles and cups of pee are not uncommon to find along with razor blades, filthy window seals and trash hidden behind your appliances. Interior and exterior paint job is a joke. ... More

I had a great experience with the builder from day one.

Everyone cared about every area of the home. Responsibility responsive this to all issues were we're high priority.. All personnel were very courteous and honest it's an honest.

They did not provide the blue prints of the home witch made it very difficult to do home improvements ex add a water softener. They also said the home was pre wired for Cad6/Ethernet in every room which it was not.

This was my first new home purchase and the group with Centex Homes really made the process as easy as possible. I am really enjoying my new home!

Getting in contact with the builder was always an issue. Updates were hardly ever sent and closing kept getting delayed

They are very good people and quality homes

The overall experience was good, but the issue was with the sales portion. My salesperson was not helpful in guiding me through all available options, leading to a number of last minute adjustments and disappointments from previously promised "upgrades." Other than that, the construction manager was fantastic and helped me understand the building process a lot, especially for me as a first time homebuyer. Be sure to read the fine print in the contract and don't take anyone's word for it.

As a first time home buyers we are ecstatic to be building our home. At first the process started off smooth. Then we ran into issues with certain contractors which we tried to be understanding of. Then when we would bring said issues to our field managers attention it was always an excuse if that was supposed to be done and this was supposed to be done but no explanation as to how it will in fact get done. The day of our celebration walk our home was filthy, carpet was a disaster and like I told the field manager if I wanted a used home I would’ve bought one. We have been in our home almost two months and still have work that need to be completed. It’s like they put their best face forward to get us to buy but as soon as you’re in the home you’re forgotten. For the cost of what we spent the workmanship doesn’t add up. We have electrical issues. Cabinets that need to be changed, window that need to be changed. Paint still on our LVT floors. We plan on selling as soon as we are able to and going with a custom builder. This company has left a sour taste in our mouth 10/10 would not recommend!! ... More

Carter is our field manager. He is always responsive and professional to our questions and paying attention to the details. He also gave us the first hand for the problems we had during the closing process. We are grateful that we had him. We really appreciated his work.

Good customer service and responsiveness.

Overall very disappointed with the quality of the material and workmanship. Interior space, layout, plan seems OK. But execution, quality material, workmanship, quality control, inspection process are subpar. The second day after moving we had to call emergency number for water leak in laundry room. You can imagine the experience. I had purchased two houses prior to this and were not this disappointed unfortunately. I am not recommending anyone to build or purchase Centex house.

I have been in the business of construction and seen a lot of builders come and go. I think the Centex for not being a very expensive home it is good quality and a good for the price. The company is good and reputable. I did not have any problems.

Jeff Arocha took care of all our concerns and was very responsive throughout the whole process.

Cody was very responsive during the closing period and the month after. He helped with getting my ISP to expedite ground work that needed to be done.

my house was not ready for the initial walk through, therefore i had to do a walk through on closing day. Found many details that weren't up to standard, a month in the house, it is finally coming along.

The sales experience was great. The craftsmanship of the home and turn around time to fix things are horrible. I moved in to my new home in September and it is now November. With in this time period I have had electrical and plumbing issues. Cracked kitchen cabinets that still are not fixed and most recently my garage collapsed and almost smashed my wife’s car as she was casually leaving the house.
