Overall the entire team from the sales office, construction manager to the title company were extremely helpful and answered my questions in a timely manor.

The financing team chosen by Centex is subpar.

Great quality home. They are on point with response time when having a question. I highly recommend them.

Price was great and the layout of the home is great

It was amazing to see all the little details Centex adds to a home.

Poor communication after closing. Difficult to get things fixed. If it needed to wait until 30 day inspection, that should have been communicated to us. Annoyed that grass was dead and did not root in, house was not properly cleaned or powerwashed outside prior to closing.

The team at centex were all helpful. Tyler was amazing before moving in and after helped me with any problems I might have had any questions anything I would recommend to a friend.

Over all we had a good experience. At the beginning it was kind of crazy with a lot of chances in their sales office and given the housing market and waitlist everywhere for new homes. We where able to get this home but that came with a price and it wasn’t mortgage. The Builder picked everything out with no choice, so it just turn into a Ready To Move Home we watched being built. Still we are thankfully some things worked in our favor. Even though it took away the experience of building our first home. We are happy as first time homebuyers.

The Supervisor Cody was great. He is the reason for 4 Stars. Took care of issues personally that were within his ability. As for the home build / design: The master shower: No shower doors, not even a shower rod. This is a 70's design shower. The cabinets in the kitchen stopping at the refrigerator and not continuing across the top to the wall. Door knobs, hinges, cabinet handles and hinges are Satin Nickel (for which I like), kitchen and bathroom / shower faucets along with the towel racks are chrome. The base boards are left cut a 90 degs not cut on 45 degs and chaulking used to hide this. Using flat paint throughout the house, including the kitchen. I know I am leaving small things out. With exception of the baseboards, the next owners will never know this is the way Centex built the house. Over all, the house is nice. Our field manager has made this whole process smooth and exciting. Great communication and pointing us in the right direction to get support or answers when needed. Buying a home during a pandemic and while a city is booming is not easy so having an advocate has been awesome!

Lots of particle board used in the skeleton of the house... is that standard?

My experience with my new home was very exciting. Even though is took sometime from start to finish it was well worth the wait. We just move in and we are very happy and things are looking great . Lets hope it stays this way for a very long time. The staff in our community have been very helpful and attentive.

We are so pleased with our Centex home in Summerlyn! From our initial experience with Nathan on the sales team, he was educational, quick to respond to any questions and assisted in helping us design a home we love. While we experienced delayed in the construction progress, that just comes with a new build, especially in today's construction climate. Our Project Manager, Tracer, was truly 10 out of 10. He was responsive, willing to help out however he could and had a great eye for attention to detail. We hired our own third party inspectors and the Centex team was easy to work with to schedule and were quick to respond to any details that were brought to our attention. Great experience, closed sooner than we thought!

Melissa was great to work with as she had experience in the purpose of why we purchase the home. Not every single thing was done on time but was quickly addressed and taken care of !

Working with Centex to purchase and build my home was an incredibly smooth journey - they delivered a high quality experience at all corners of the process and I would highly recommend them.

Overall a good to near great experience. Only two recommendations and one complaint. Recommend that the stove vent actually vent outside. Recommend additional lighting in the bathrooms. My only complaint is the vinyl flooring. Cheap quality. Dents, scratches and tears way too easily.

We are happy with our home buying experience. We wish that there had been more time spent on the little finishing details to make sure that the home felt complete, but as a starter home, the price is decent for what you get. There is some room for customizability, but for some things, it is worth it to just do it yourself down the road so you don't pay interest on minor upgrades.

Overall it was a good experience and happy with my new home. I wish builder would use better quality materials and would pay attention more to details. My honest opinion is that if in the future I will purchase new construction again probably not going to do it with Centex again.

Having my home built by Pulte has been a wonderful experience. The sales team, building team, finance team, and the closing team, were all a pleasure to work with. All team members were quick to respond with any questions I had. They walked me through the entire process. The weekly checkins were a huge help because I was not able to drive out to see the progress on a regular basis. I would highly recommend Pulte to build your next home. I cannot say enough good things about their entire team including Jessica, Shane, Sam, Ryan, Kenzie, Sophia, and Amy. They were all extremely knowledgable about each of their roles in this process and I fully trusted them to build a well constructed beautiful home. ... More
