The build needs to be monitored by the home buyer, daily, to insure the quality construction. Also, there is no concern for details or communication with the buyers and the build quality supervisors. Construction cost could lower if there were not so many errors made by the contractors, i.e., concrete torn out and re-poured, insulation replaced because of moisture damage, siding replacement and multiple industy best practices not followed.

Starting out was great got to choose your own design and select colors but when it came to building the house we had a lot of failed inspection because workers were cutting corners and causing me to be delayed another 3 and half months from closing and I am still finding more issues after closing, this feels like a working project instead of a move and ready home, my advise is do not close until everything is fix and I mean everything, because to get someone out there will take weeks to fix.

Every single person I worked with or even just spoke to were very responsive to my questions. This is a great team to work with if buying a home. Overall, it was a very good experience. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because my appraisal came in quite a bit under the asking price and I was told I would have to make up the difference. I understand building materials have really gone up recently, but how can you expect someone to pay more than the actual value with a take it or leave it attitude? This was my first Centex home. The salesperson was nice but slow to follow up with answers to questions. The finance reps in Tx and CO were exceptional once I understood neither office communicated with the other but the process was smooth compared to my last house. They receive 5 stars for that process. Justin, my field manager was beyond exceptional. He was extremely informative, texted photos of the building process and put my mind at ease. The overall experience on the builder side of the processes was great. Both project managers Jason and Luis kept us informed every step of the way. They went above and beyond to answer all the questions and reassure us during this process if anything came up.

We found our "salesperson" Jessica Golden, to be pleasant and responsible, but as we moved on into our new home we have had many problems with our new construction home built by Centex. Centex Homes and Pulte have been the most unprofessional and unreliable companies I have ever encountered. No one answer the phone nor emails. We have a busted irrigation lines in our home.
