The property manager was great

This was honestly the worst experience of my life. In full transparency there were only 2 people that cared about Elaine and I as a person during this process and that was Jack(builder) and Winn(sales rep). Our closing date was moved several times and we were unsure of what was going on. It felt like we were being treated poorly for not using Pulte mortgage. We elected to not use pulte due to our loan officer Daniel. He was condescending, arrogant and dishonest. We turned down $8000 due to the way he treated us. He was giving us a higher interest rate telling me I would have to put down a 25% down payment to get the interest lower. Daniel was ready to take full advantage of us being first time home buyers.. He also lied to my wife about having documents. I can say that I will never recommend Pulte/Centex to anyone I know. I felt like I was just another house during the the process rather than a person. The build manager and the build process was great. I really enjoy the house and had no issues. The problems were with the Sales team. Either they were completely clueless or they flat out lied to my face. Either option is not good. With the sales team you need to triple check everything they say and get it in writing.

Timely manner, responds right away and does it’s best to correct any issues or answer any questions

I do love my home and I felt like good intentions were in place to give us a perfect house but we did have a few hiccups upon moving in.

Sam has been a great help during and after the build with taking care of any questions and issues I may have.

I just realized that the oven was not placed correctly; I don't know how to reach out to see if something can be done about this

Leaks and pipe issues and its only been weeks. Cheap paint try to paint as soon as possible.

My home was not completed when we closed, it has been over a month and a half that we closed and still no one has come to my home to paint over 40 drywall patches and tags that had to be corrected after closing. For them to come complete the tags around our house it took them one month after closing. I really wanted to love my experience with Centex/Pulte but I am completely disappointed by the work and lack of interest that was put into this home.

All in all it was a good experience. We had some issues getting ahold of most the Centex team, but Robert was always responsive and would help us on whatever way he could. Whenever we pointed out issues they were promptly resolved. Since moving in everything has worked properly and been great

Purchase experience is made so easy.

There are many pluses to our home. However, once we moved in we found that painting was poor, several doors did not close properly, there was no power to the kitchen island, the dishwasher did not work (a plug was never attached to the dishwasher), screens were missing, and there were rust marks on the concrete slabs from nails that were never swept up. I trust there will be other issues as the months pass. Our Field Manager from Pulte Homes is great! Unfortunately he does not have enough hours in a day to address issues tied to the 15+ homes that are either settling or are soon to settle. Once 30 days elapses the warranty requests are handled by a Pulte Homes Customer Care person and responsiveness is exceptional. So why the “Timing” subject? Our settlement date should have been pushed out one month. The Field Manager should be able to focus on confirming that everything is in working order and performing a detailed walkthrough prior to the buyer’s walkthrough. ... More

We were kept up on the steps of the home building process, and any questions we had were answered.

Poor craftsmanship Poor responsiveness from building manager If I could of pulled out of my contract without any penalties or inconvenience to my family with moving I would have done so

Every person, from every department whom I had communication with (in person/email/text/or telephone) throughout the entire process was highly concerned about meeting my needs to a level of 100% satisfaction. It is evident that employees are service driven and goal oriented. I was buying basic working class family home and receiving million dollar courtesy service. It truly does not matter the price of your home. The teams are highly effective and the experience will be exceptional.
