Overall a good experience. A few minor issues. That to be expected on a new home.

Only one problem, workers failing to return to complete flaws.

I bought a house for primary residence and was forced into a investment mortgage with a much higher interest. Today, the house is being used as a primary residence and I am paying high mortgage rates.

Mr. Eric and Mr. Ibrahim were very customers oriented. Always were available for answer any concern or situation that arise. They at all time showed their knowledge and professionalism. I never recommend PULTE Mortgage as a financial institution. They were too rude, unfriendly and not organized. PULTE MORTGAGE decrease Centex prestige.

Really easy and helpful people at centex. They explain how everything works and makes it very easy for you.

It was easy to apply and get an approval quickly. Did not give me the run around.

Value for the money spent!

Very smooth purchase process. Materials are not premium but are a good value for the price.

Hard to give 5 stars for all of the items due to us purchasing the model home. So we have not had the chance to witness the process of the home being built. Otherwise we are very happy with the home. Alexandria has been very helpful, responsive, and informative during the purchasing as well as post purchase. I would suggest providing the model home purchasers the same warranties, services, and follow-up as new-builds, instead of "As-is". There are cosmetic blemishes that would be addressed if it were a new-build.

My Centex Sales Associate Chance was WONDERFUL, I can’t sing his praises loud enough. No matter my questions, he always made time for me. Andrew our project manager was wonderful. Closing - we almost did not close on time due to the fact that I could not get in touch with the closing agent. Why…..BECAUSE THEY WERE MOVING INTO THEIR NEW OFFICE!!!! Poor poor poor excuse. I called Chance, and he was able to get SOMEONE TO CALL ME BACK!!! Very good experience start to finish

I felt my sales person Kim was non attentive. Did not contact me during or after the purchase. I had to get the keys to my mailbox. Never did a walk thru of the home other then the first visit .

Centex Homes made it so easy to find the house we wanted and from contract to close was very fast. The quality of the home is better than we were expecting. So many builders are cutting corners but not Centex. I hired a home inspector before closing to find out what wasn't right and they only found 4 minor things. The builder not only fixed those items, but they noticed things not up to standard and fixed it before we moved in. After moving in, we had two issues, one with an appliance and one with the rug. They came fixed both as a warranty call at no cost to me. Our house is very quiet and for two stories, its very energy efficient. Our gas/electric bills and water bills are very low which was a pleasant surprise. Finally, during the recent snow/freeze, we had no issues with frozen pipes because Centex had wrapped our outside water pipes - not all builders do this. We have quite a lot of issues with this new build home And none of them are resolved yet, there isn’t any timeline yet for the fixes First, vinyl floor installation is very poor quality. The work is carried out by RiteRug, which surprised me. We have found a lot of places that short end joints are separated. So when you step on it, it squeaks and falls. Most ridiculous is the explanation of inspection guy from RiteRug. He told me “there is not teeth on the edge of each vinyl plank, they just pieced together”. I knew that is not true. Each vinyl plank bites to each other piece by piece to form a whole floor. It proved that same material is handled by different person, you will get completely different outcome. Second, we closed in December and experienced few weeks extreme cold days right after closing. Then , water pipe was frozen in one of rest room during the low temperature. That is completely unexpected and unacceptable for new build! There must be either insulation problem or plumbing issue. The fix could be hard it depends on the root cause. Last but not least, kitchen countertops has defects in materials they use. They have acknowledged it since first walk through because I fight so hard for it. But as of now they have not changed it yet. The builder has promised to redo the countertops with good materials, I will see how this goes ... More

I felt that Centex was highly concerned with making sure we were happy with our home and the buying experience. Many touchpoints of contact with us during the entire process. Even the final walk through was done with an emphasis on our happiness and acceptance of the house.

The construction manager Isaac was awesome and very informative about the home. Very efficient in getting the home ready and ALL finds on the walk corrected.

I assisted my son in purchasing his first home. We purchased the model home in the Sunbriar community. Chad, his construction manager was very patient with his questions and attentive to our needs. As a licensed real estate broker, I wouldn’t refer my family to a builder that I don’t trust to build a high quality home.

Great value in a home and quality construction.

My general contractor Govany was great. He was super attentive and informative through out the entire process. Any issue or concern my wife or I had he addressed immediately. I am extremely pleased with the entire process.

For starters, pulte mortgage fumbled the entire loan process from beginning to end, leaving me to figure out how to get approved by the guidance of a completely independent loan officer outside of PMC. Then there's the house... sadly I had no other choice as my lease was expiring and the slow churning loan process that was riddled with delays and misinformation forced me to ride it out just so I could have a home to live in. The house is built with the cheapest materials, 3 tab shingles, osb siding, ceiling paint on every wall. The drywall taping is coming apart and cracking in several areas, the paint gets damaged/stained just by looking at it too hard, the flooring is basically linoleum and within the first year is coming apart in every house I've been in so far. The siding is already buckling and centex refuses to fix the poor multicolored paint job on the home. The poor drainage is a neighborhood-wide issue that centex refuses to fix, my grass is dying, my fence is rotting and I'm now seeing severe cracks in my foundation which all are attributed to the poor drainage. The water supply is terrible. Numerous people are having major sediment issues, even with the scale minimizing devices and soft water systems installed. I had to have the insulation crew come out 3 times before they finally fixed the insufficient insulation. It took the roofing crew 4 times to replace the shingles that were damaged, which, they did a shady-contractor job there and only cut out the damaged tabs rather than replace the entire shingle. And yes I have pics to prove it. The irrigation crew has been out several times to fix the sprinklers and keeps breaking something else. I have several issues that were not only in the inspection report but also mentioned during the blue tape walk through that remain unfixed. The construction supervisor has been dismissive, unsympathetic and borderline disrespectful throughout the process of emailing back and forth to resolve these issues. The customer care rep that came out refused to look at my drainage issues for fear of getting her shoes muddy, which says a lot, and both her and the construction supervisor both flat out lied to my face regarding a particular issue that is rampant with the neighborhood regarding exposed lintels. The cc rep also tried to get smart with me and tell me my job as a licensed home inspector and what I can and can't say. I've tried to remain calm and professional throughout this whole ordeal so I can get my issues fixed and move on with life but it's been months since I started this tickets and have seen very little to no action on over half of them. The unprofessionalism by the people who represent this company is the only thing worse than the shoddy work done by their contractors. Pretty sad when a $250k not only comes with all these issues, but doesn't even include a shower door because "we just don't include them on that particular model" and doesn't come with a garage door opener because "we just didn't include them when your house was built, but we do now, but no, you still can't have one" i work 3 jobs to be able to afford this house, you think I have time to fight with the builder ontop of everything else I have going on? Govany is my construction Supervisor Rep., and he is FABULOUS and AWESOME. He has been very responsive to the minor issues that I raised when I finally saw my home for the first time (an hour before receiving the keys). He has also been attentive to the follow up needs that I noticed after day to day living in my new home. He is knowledgeable, professional, informative, respectful and just a pleasure to be around. He and Shannon (my WONDERFUL) sales rep., made my Pulte home buying experience a VERY HAPPY and TERRIFIC experience. I was on the opposite side of the country from start to finish. I physically saw my home on the day I was handed the keys. Pulte has a great team and the home buying experience was all I could have hoped it would be. I put a lot of trust in them and they earned every ounce of it. From the initial contract, to my lending team (Rob and Todd, who also went above and beyond like Govany and Shannon) I could not be happier.
