Issues submitted are not addressed timely Example: Emergency call on Saturday November 18, 2023 Major water leak damage to kitchen floor, flex room carpet and molding. Plumber came out Sunday morning, 11/19/23 and says water leak is from dish washer; still waiting for anyone to come out to address.

Centex provides great size family homes, however building materials quality lacked. Very little lighting in dining area and great room. Many more recess lights should have been used. No decorative chandelier for over dining table area. Biggest issue was super large kitchen but no backsplash at all. Jist white on white. Also only one ceiling fan in the entire home. I now have to buy and install 4 more ceiling fans and put in a backsplash

Hi, I requested more than 15 warranties in less than two months living in the property. The answer has not been as quick as desired.

The buying experience was good. Pretty easy overall. I'm disappointed with the quality of finish and the quality of the products used in the house.

Very poor response to problems. I recommend that anyone purchasing a home, even brand new ones, hire their own inspector before signing any papers. Example foul odors.

We have had water leaking in our ceiling initially they sent someone out right away but now can’t reach them to fix the drywall damage. We have barely been in our new home for a month and have already had a few issues. Not very happy with them not getting back to us in a timely manner.

Builders team was great with updates.

Leaks and pipe issues and its only been weeks. Cheap paint try to paint as soon as possible.

Buying a home with Centex was a rocky experience. We had some chaos with the closing date, but the construction supervisor was not ready for the final walk through. After closing there was still deficiencies with our home that had not been corrected. We tried to work with the construction supervisor to get the outstanding deficiencies addressed, but after two weeks we gave up since it was clearly apparent we couldnt trust him to do his job. Additionally, the sod that was used on our lawn was infested with army worm eggs which we didnt find out till two weeks after we moved in. We had to pay for emergency pest control to save our lawn as the infestation was so severe it looked like our lawn was moving for an entire day. Paid almost 300kfor my home for shotty workmanship, from wood trim to painting, no pride work was taken by your contractors, just rushing to get job done

The quality of the products. When it comes to the trims. Painting and etc it was not worth it. Gray was not easy to work with. If it were issues when I came to him to let him know what was incorrect. He acted as if he was offended when I question him. I closed on the home and shouldn’t have until everything was done correctly. After closing I see things more and more are incorrect. Gray made my experience worse.

I will keep it short and sweet. I had a fantastic buying experience a+. From the moment we fell in love with the house to the closing process went as smooth as it should. After closing we found a lot of issues that should have never been issues, just poor workmanship. From building materials down my drain and clogging up our whole house to the dryer vent being shoved into place and closed for no air to escape, and a gas leak that could not be detected by the plumbers or appliance technician. Trusses in the attic broken and not attached to anything, no electric to the doorbell. These mistakes are proof that the workmanship was poor to none. There was no pride in their work. When workers came to fix these issues, there was a huge language barrier which made it very frustrating. We find ourselves very lucky that we were able to notice an issue with the dryer vent that could have caused a fire, plus the gas leaking for 2 months which could have been a terrible situation. Pros: Initially, they impressed us with their professionalism, timely communication, and a comprehensive project plan. The sales team did an excellent job of presenting their portfolio, and their reputation in the industry was a significant factor in our decision to choose them. Structural Integrity: The overall structure of our home appears solid. We haven't encountered any issues with the foundation, walls, or roof, which is crucial for the long-term durability of a house. Moved in 6 weeks ago, did not have an opportunity to a final inspection. Upon move we spoke to site manager and was told he would have these items taken care of. Sent several text to him to schedule, minimal response. I also put in a request two time on the web site for resolve and still have not heard from anyone. I have a sink faucet that is extremely loose, a hinge that is improperly installed, nail and wood chips in the stairwell, paint and spackle on the rugs, area of painting that were missed and a few other items. Some of these items were addressed in January at the first home inspection. My frustration level I'd getting higher. I would like for a principal to contact me and schedule a date to review these issues. My wife and I bought a new home and wish it to be a perfect as possible. Disappointed in the quality and workmanship for the price. Fit and finish is very poor.

Finish the house first 100% before you CLOSE, They will not prioritize you.

Overall it was a good experience and happy with my new home. I wish builder would use better quality materials and would pay attention more to details. My honest opinion is that if in the future I will purchase new construction again probably not going to do it with Centex again.

Everyone was very responsive BEFORE closing. But after closing it was like talking in the dark. The house has several small issues and I have noted with the building manager, but no response has been received. The quality of sod for front lawn is sub-par. The finish in many places is just done half-heartedly. I will not recommend Centex to anyone for new home building.

Our salesperson and field manager were excellent. But the craftsmanship leaves a lot to be desired. Even after two walkthrus the contractors only accomplished approximately 60% of what was pointed out. The painters have no idea what a straight line looks like and the sheetrock crews use their fingers to smooth caulk.

Home took a year to build. Contractors made mistakes during the building process. Most of the issues are fixed. Still have a few more things to be done. Building a home is always Stressful. Overall a cheap quality home. Everything in the home is basic and nothing is of great quality. Centex employees over promise and under deliver. I would never go for Centex again
