One you move in you find all the things you wished you’d noticed before closing. Creaky floors, leaks, corners cut. The lack of pride in the work shows. Getting to closing is easy and they have nice people on the staff.

The appliances, even the upgraded appliances are terrible. We have had problems with all but the dishwasher. In the most simplest terms the appliances are crap.

Centex Homes makes it easy to get into a house. Our Saleswoman was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The construction manager was less helpful and we had an overall sour experience towards the end of the process. We love our home - still has open issues waiting to be addressed but overall we were glad to have the home.

I’ve lived in this house less than a month and have already had siding literally fall off, doors don’t shut properly , paint job was horrendous , caulking was horrendous , toilets are loose, garbage disposal needed serviced, nail pops and cracks everywhere !

Very disconnected all departments involved in home buying process, lack of a deal management as a whole. Terrible communication between Pulte different areas.

Issues submitted are not addressed timely Example: Emergency call on Saturday November 18, 2023 Major water leak damage to kitchen floor, flex room carpet and molding. Plumber came out Sunday morning, 11/19/23 and says water leak is from dish washer; still waiting for anyone to come out to address.

Centex provides great size family homes, however building materials quality lacked. Very little lighting in dining area and great room. Many more recess lights should have been used. No decorative chandelier for over dining table area. Biggest issue was super large kitchen but no backsplash at all. Jist white on white. Also only one ceiling fan in the entire home. I now have to buy and install 4 more ceiling fans and put in a backsplash

Very poor response to problems. I recommend that anyone purchasing a home, even brand new ones, hire their own inspector before signing any papers. Example foul odors.

We have had water leaking in our ceiling initially they sent someone out right away but now can’t reach them to fix the drywall damage. We have barely been in our new home for a month and have already had a few issues. Not very happy with them not getting back to us in a timely manner.

Buying a home with Centex was a rocky experience. We had some chaos with the closing date, but the construction supervisor was not ready for the final walk through. After closing there was still deficiencies with our home that had not been corrected. We tried to work with the construction supervisor to get the outstanding deficiencies addressed, but after two weeks we gave up since it was clearly apparent we couldnt trust him to do his job. The quality of the products. When it comes to the trims. Painting and etc it was not worth it. Gray was not easy to work with. If it were issues when I came to him to let him know what was incorrect. He acted as if he was offended when I question him. I closed on the home and shouldn’t have until everything was done correctly. After closing I see things more and more are incorrect. Gray made my experience worse.

I will keep it short and sweet. I had a fantastic buying experience a+. From the moment we fell in love with the house to the closing process went as smooth as it should. After closing we found a lot of issues that should have never been issues, just poor workmanship. From building materials down my drain and clogging up our whole house to the dryer vent being shoved into place and closed for no air to escape, and a gas leak that could not be detected by the plumbers or appliance technician.
