The sales group is great at there job and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door. But I dislike how they operate when it comes to your home. There is a very limited option to customize your home. Once they pour the concrete they won’t allow you to change not one thing. As well comparing our house to the others in the neighborhood we over paid for our house. The same house with close enough square footage to ours cost less than ours. Those houses are fully loaded with grass in the back and sprinklers and gutters. Ours didn’t come with non of that and cost about 30,000 more. If I was to go back I would do better research on how much the houses in our neighborhood are going for. As well I would have a realtor next time to catch the slid bull the sales people will try to slide by you. We could have gotten a better deal than what we was offered. One month in and found a clogged sink, a leaky toilet, windows that won’t close, and ants. Warranty team is great fixing, but…

Skylar, Mark, and Ani embodied the definition of responsiveness, punctuality and transparency. They were all easy to do business with. Brian on the other hand seemed quite untrained, unresponsive, and frankly misleading (talking in circles without it giving a straight answer specifically). Although I do not hold Brian accountable to his lack of training, that’s his management teams job. He is responsible for taking ownership of providing clear and concise data, which he did not do without a push every conversation. Overall, I would rate the entire experience a 4 out of 5 stars.

Our realtor was excellent but was outside the builders sales team.

Michael was a great construction manager, Sam was an awesome Salesperson, other than that the experience was very stressful we had one issue after another and they took 4 extra months to finish our home, our house has several issues (not serious, but still) overall after moving we are happy with our house, and the neighborhood.

I submitted a list of things that needed to be corrected. Yes, even new houses have things like cracks that aren't filled in and sawed out rectangles in the wall. I still have a temporary stove in my place because the people who put in my permanent stove didn't remove it at the same time. Copper pipes are still sticking out of the ground. I don't want to put landscaping rock in my yard for fear the rock will puncture a line. The house itself is really nice though. I especially like the low HERS rating which means the house is insulated to save on heating and cooling bills.

The sales rep was very proactive and patience to guide us. The process was seamless just the finance Part of it was stressful as we had little or no guidance about document submission.

I ended up liking the end result, but getting there was barely worth it. it took almost a year from signing the initial contract to close. The sales people are completely clueless and will just say things they think you want to hear. I went in for a scheduled appointment more than once and they didn't remember who I was or why I was there and even pulled up the wrong account. I had to ask about closing weekly. the contract said July and I didn't close until almost September. half the time my emails were completely ignored. I was not even given an idea to plan about when to end my current lease. it was awful. The construction team was awesome though. They were better at communicating. ... More

While I can't say I enjoyed my experience with Pulte Mortgage, Isabella was invaluable throughout the process and Eddie really worked hard to huild us the best poasible home he could. We r forever greatful to them.

The only 2 people that were helpful and did above and beyond for me. They were amazing they were prompt and if they didn’t have the answer they sure found the answer.

The lack of craftsmanship was evident through the whole build process. We were told by the Build Manager several times that our house plan was a difficult build because the builders had not built this plan before. I thought skilled builders could read and interpret plans. When questions were raised they were met with a condescending attitude that was even evident to our real estate agent. Some of the issues that were presented during the walk through were not completed by the closing date with contractors scrambling trying to get things done. We were told that if we wanted them fixed our closing would be delayed but that we could sign, close that afternoon, and send in the information to warranty and it would be fixed in the next 30 days - not. We sent in the info. to warranty and were notified that it would be handled at the 11th month period. I was surprised and very disappointed to find that ceiling fans and a garage door opener were not standard for my home. I’ve never heard of a new home build that does it include a garage door system. Such an easy thing to complete.

This is the first month the property has been in use , and already the lights ion the front room and in front of the house have failed to come on. They came to fix it pronto but its a new home , should the hole front of the house loose power, and the breaker never tripped. Scary !!!

I love my new home; however, I feel that the service and response time from employees at Centex could be better. I understand that they have a lot of needs to be met but I wished they would answer emails timely!!

Some work very good, some not to our expectations. Garage concrete work very poor quality. Sheetrock texture very disappointing and bull nose corners just so so.

I periodically dropped in, to see the construction progress on my house. Claudia, in the sales office, was incredible. She provided me with weekly updates. It was truly amazing to watch the house come together. However I did find some disturbing issues that caused my trust to fail. At one point, I found a lot of alcohol containers, scattered in the house. Food debris was also tossed onto new cement foundation, inside of the house, some greasy or oily meat products, oily chips, etc. I felt this could draw bugs. Another issue was right before close, I found people apparently living in the house. Human debris and excrement left behind. Globs of hair in drains. Spit globs in sink. Showers used. Stained tubs. Human excrement (both kinds) on walls, floor, and stuck inside and outside toilets. Making it worse was that I was there with family, to "show off" the progress on my new house, when we walked in on this disgusting mess, in both bathrooms. Completely unnecessary, since many, many port o' John's were right outside, some even in my front yard. I reported issues w/ photos to main office. However, it just seemed as if nobody cared. I began to figure that this is perhaps normal and customary, to have alcohol bottles, raw trash, and human excrement scattered throughout new home construction. I didn't know. Nobody seemed to care. However, at the time, I felt not enough was being done to protect my house. I finally resigned that you can't "make people care". After close, just for peace of mind, I had to invest in extensive deep cleaning of the bathroom walls, floors, and also, carpets. In general. I would still recommend this company, but perhaps visit your house periodically, during construction, just to check on things. Eval of PULTE MORTGAGE: As far as Pulte mortgage, their professionalism leaves a lot to be desired. After close, I received numerous phone calls from them, wanting me to correct mistakes they made it closing, I.e., documents left out, signatures needed, etc. It seemed like a hoax, bcz they called and emailed so much. Perhaps train your workers?? Ask them to care?? ... More

Built a great home very quickly (too quickly) Project manager was great and very responsive up until closing date. After moving in, we noticed a lot of things Un-finished. This is my first home and expected the closeout to be close to perfect, this however was not the case. Un/finished home and we now a month later have to go through warranty to get our problems fixed.

Brief, the sale experience with Mike is not positive, slow response, not caring and surprises due to the final walk for the garage paint was not included. Price is not cheap. In contrast, the construction person William is amazing and very professional.

I was pleased with my walk through with the developer representative; however, the sales representative was not very responsive to many questions after we were in contract to purchase. I had to continuously email the sales rep begging for information about the purchase and closing of the purchase.

Well when I saw my future house I didn’t see any errors or mistakes, but after just a couple days we my family and I started seeing many details and issues that the CENTEX/ PULTE trying to get them fixed, but was so many that at the end they quit and just send me to the normal way through guarantee.

Not the top quality I was expecting

Not great. From day one during walk through issues were found and pointed out. We had outside inspector come in and did property inspection. ( THIS SERVICE WAS DONE WHILE WE WRE STILL IN CALIORNIA.) Arriving here ln texas , many of the report from the inspection were still not corrected. NOT everyone involved during the process were incompetent. There would be some people in the administrative part and people in support services on repair definitely unqualified. I also feel that the person put in charge and oversee the repair is a very bias individual.

Jonathan building manager was excellent. He was very helpful and made every attempt to fix and correct issues in a timely manner. Our experience and time with him was great. However, there are other area where Centex can improve period. Thanks

we call the construction manager as soon as we started finding issues, the carpenter came and evaluated the details we showed him, he said " we need to replace basically all the doors of the cabinets in the kitchen, and paint them" after that we haven't hear from them, and they are no longer here at the subdivision.

I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt I should for this experience. As a first time home buyer, I didn’t know what to expect. I would visit my home every couple of weeks to check the progress and in doing so I noticed some things. First, there was a bottle of pee in one of the bedrooms that spilled over before the carpet was put in. So who knows if it was cleaned properly. Second, there was toilet paper in the guest bathroom as if they were using the toilets instead of the portable restroom right outside my home. As we expressed our concerns during the walk through, we received a lot of back talk from the builder instead of assurance that our dislikes would be taken care of. Very unprofessional. After moving in, I noticed my microwave had been used since there was food crumbs inside. I was told cleaners would come before moving in, but I don’t know what they actually cleaned. The process for requesting things to be fixed after moving in has been smooth, and I wish I could have received this customer service before moving in too. Overall, I would not recommend Centex Homes to friends or family based on my experience. ... More
