This is our second purchase of a Centex home. Both have been great experiences.

Dealing with Pulte mortgage was a pleasure as the entire staff were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Same dealing with Pulte Insurance, friendly knowledgeable and experienced staff. Both the mortgage and Insurance portions of Pulte were awesome and if it stopped right there my ratings above would be all 5's.. However, I don't share the same feelings about Pulte Financial. There were 2 employees there who were friendly, knowledgeable and professional but there was 1 without mentioning names who was completely the opposite to the point I almost decided to conceive with the purchase and file a bad faith lawsuit. This person hit behind blaming everything on an "Underwriter" and when I asked numerous times to speak with this person I was denied. They were asking for irrelevant documents that did not pertain to the purchase of the home. And the irony of the matter is I possess an 821-credit rating and showed them income/savings whereas I could have paid cash not only for this home but for 3 others. And in the end delayed our original closing date and time. So needless to say, I was not thrilled and would advise protentional buyers not to use Pulte financial. In fact since I moved here 2 friends followed and they used Pulte but not financial and I have 2-3 friends moving here next year and I will advise them of the same. Respectfully, Joez ... More

Very easy home buying experience

He was knowledgeable and prompt with a few fixes and answers to questions.

We finally found our dream home. My family and I, are so happy with out purchase. We definitely recommend it. Just don't go with their mortgage ;)

We were very excited to move into our house. Everything looked great. Now that we’ve been here for 2 months we are starting to notice some little problems. Drywall finished have a lot of imperfections. Doors are rubbing in different areas. Range and washer were not installed correctly. We know that fixtures and appliances are bought in bulk, maybe a slightly higher quality should be installed. At some point every faucet will need to be replaced.

The best part of this journey was our GC. He kept us informed throughout the whole process. This was an out of state purchase for us, so we couldn’t be there every week to see the progress. He’d emailed pictures and answered promptly all of our questions. We looked forward to our every Friday update. We were very happy with the end product.

Our experience buying our home here in the Arcadia Community was absolutely wonderful. We've been here for almost 2 months. All of our requests for repairs were done promptly and professionally. Thank you Connor and Dominic for your assistance in making this possible.

Sales people were great Conner went over and above.Dominic our construction overseer met all of our needs.Overall we are very pleased

John the Construction Manager and Conor the Real Estate Agent were very friendly and helpful as could be when dealing with my wife and I as well as with our Agent Rachel in getting all of our concerns handled and answered, in a short amount of time. We have only been here a little while and have had ZERO problems, but we believe and expect that anything arising will be handled in much the same way. Well done everybody, and THANKS TO Y'ALL!!!

Quality could improve. Need more responsive in helping customers when needed.

Never again would not recommend nothing but a hassle

I bought a house for primary residence and was forced into a investment mortgage with a much higher interest. Today, the house is being used as a primary residence and I am paying high mortgage rates.

Centex Homes made it so easy to find the house we wanted and from contract to close was very fast. The quality of the home is better than we were expecting. So many builders are cutting corners but not Centex. I hired a home inspector before closing to find out what wasn't right and they only found 4 minor things. The builder not only fixed those items, but they noticed things not up to standard and fixed it before we moved in. After moving in, we had two issues, one with an appliance and one with the rug. They came fixed both as a warranty call at no cost to me. Our house is very quiet and for two stories, its very energy efficient. Our gas/electric bills and water bills are very low which was a pleasant surprise. Finally, during the recent snow/freeze, we had no issues with frozen pipes because Centex had wrapped our outside water pipes - not all builders do this. I will keep it short and sweet. I had a fantastic buying experience a+. From the moment we fell in love with the house to the closing process went as smooth as it should. After closing we found a lot of issues that should have never been issues, just poor workmanship. From building materials down my drain and clogging up our whole house to the dryer vent being shoved into place and closed for no air to escape, and a gas leak that could not be detected by the plumbers or appliance technician. Trusses in the attic broken and not attached to anything, no electric to the doorbell. These mistakes are proof that the workmanship was poor to none. There was no pride in their work. When workers came to fix these issues, there was a huge language barrier which made it very frustrating. We find ourselves very lucky that we were able to notice an issue with the dryer vent that could have caused a fire, plus the gas leaking for 2 months which could have been a terrible situation. With all these issues already, a home inspection or two may be needed to find myself feeling safe in my new home. ... More

The building experience with Centex was a very easy and positive experience. We love our home and any cosmetic questions we had at pre close and even after close we had quick assistance. We are very happy with our home and appreciate the work provided by the entire Centex team.

My overall experience with Pulte/Centex builders has been very positive and pleasant. My construction manager, John, has been AMAZING from start to finish, and he continues to update me & respond when I have questions or concerns even after moving in. The weekly emails and pictures were so impressive and very helpful, keeping me informed when I was living over 550 miles away. The customer service follow through via email responses and phone calls is some of the best I've ever encountered. This includes all Pulte/Centex team members. I love the place and very nice

There were a few glitches but there was always someone to help find a solution. Buying a home is stressful- especially if one is not in the area. That wasn’t a problem.

Salesperson lied or did not know services he said were included were in fact not. Floor plan was different from model with closets, only after saying something did they address and then we had light switches that went no where. Most importantly, look at the Management company they hire for the community. If you want simple things like gutters, fence or to screen a porch it could take months for approval. The rules that apply to you as the homeowner do not apply to the builder either. I am greeted to cement trucks 5 days a week at 5am as they begin construction, but I cannot get “an approved style fence” for two months because it took 16 phone calls and 6 emails to get something done. ... It was easy processing For finances and home owners insurance . Wish needed more time for shopping other insurance companies to compare policy.

So far everything with our home buying experience has been great! The staff with Pulte have been professional and extremely helpful. We love our new home and the location

Sales - laughable, multiple errors. Once you sign the paperwork, he has no interest. Thanks for nothing Tom and if you knew your stuff, the home was advertised with gutters. Our PCO NIck, is fantastic and really cares about what he does and how cuustomers are treated. He restores credibility for the organization.

I have been extremely pleased with my home buying experience with Pulte/ Centex Homes! From the show home visit to the Berkshire Forest area with the sales representative, Christa and Pulte Mortgage servicing with “O”. In my mind, I was just looking and waiting to buy later this year BUT I was so Impressed with that first visit that I bought right away! Now, I have just moved into MY NEW HOME and everything has been Great! There has been just a couple of bumps in the road and RODNEY has been there! He has been so responsive and courteous to all my concerns. He is fantastic At his job and knows what is important! It is easy to sell a good product but after The sale it is very critical to keep that customer happy.
