Moved in 6 weeks ago, did not have an opportunity to a final inspection. Upon move we spoke to site manager and was told he would have these items taken care of. Sent several text to him to schedule, minimal response. I also put in a request two time on the web site for resolve and still have not heard from anyone. I have a sink faucet that is extremely loose, a hinge that is improperly installed, nail and wood chips in the stairwell, paint and spackle on the rugs, area of painting that were missed and a few other items. Well the actual process went of the house being built went ok I guess. My construction managers assured me that all the issues I was seeing would be fixed before closing. This is where my issue started. I was forced to close or have a daily penalty of $200/day until I did. All the while my sheetrock joints and many other things were not fixed as I was promised. I’ve been in my home for over a month and here’s a list of most of my biggest things that need fixed still. It was good within reason, they’re pushy with the timelines when they want you to do something but loose on the timing when you want something. The house is built well, but some of the finish work falls short

There are many pluses to our home. However, once we moved in we found that painting was poor, several doors did not close properly, there was no power to the kitchen island, the dishwasher did not work (a plug was never attached to the dishwasher), screens were missing, and there were rust marks on the concrete slabs from nails that were never swept up. We love our home although it is frustrating out how most of the walls are not straight and most of the home does not seem very air tight as you can feel a draft at times. We are concerned about the flooring upstairs as it makes a lot of noise already and that seems to be a common concern through out the neighborhood. We have made a lot of upgrades on our own so we are happy with it.

The only thing I am disappointed with is the fact that before we closed I felt that I would be supported and taken care of with any issues. That made me feel more comfortable. But after the closing I didn't feel the same way. We only had a few issues but the people they sent were not experienced. Did a hack job and my husband will need to fix. We closed on our new home Mid-December. We still have 2 repairs still not completed. A cracked bathroom cabinet frame due to sink installer damaging it. And a 3rd bathroom fiberglass shower surround that has major damage to it which we discovered post-closing. It should have never been installed, or the installer damaged it. We reported it to customer service within 30 days post close and now a month later it is still not replaced. This is a major defect and has caused our family undue distress and taken away the joy of buying a new home. Very frustrated and dissatisfied.

I love my new home. The layout is perfect. Structurally, it is solid. However, the attention to finish work is abysmal. Cracks in my new cabinets, my banisters are unsanded leaving my family with splinters. Gaping holes that were never covered over. Unsealed doors. Every neighbor I speak to has the same experience, with warranty tickets a mile long. The house was unfinished due to multiple careless mistakes when we moved in. We were never allowed to have our blue tape meeting and kept being told it would be this day or that day and then it never happened. Sales - laughable, multiple errors. Once you sign the paperwork, he has no interest. Thanks for nothing Tom and if you knew your stuff, the home was advertised with gutters. Our PCO NIck, is fantastic and really cares about what he does and how cuustomers are treated. He restores credibility for the organization.

Overall I’m happy with the house. There has been a few issues but the builder has been easy to communicate with and almost everything has been fixed. My only complaint would be in the sales process the person in the office did not show me what was actually put in the house. I ended up with a lower grade different carpet and different fixtures in the bathrooms. I was shown a darker carpet and brushed nickel. Ended up with light carpet and chrome. And they did nothing about it.

All started out well but many issues came up and repairs were scheduled and missed by contractors. Calls weren't being returned by the supervisor and we had to leave multiple messaand texts to get a reply. Our issues are still not resolved after occupancy of 2 months now. I would never buy again from Pulte.

Salesperson lied or did not know services he said were included were in fact not. Floor plan was different from model with closets, only after saying something did they address and then we had light switches that went no where. Most importantly, look at the Management company they hire for the community. If you want simple things like gutters, fence or to screen a porch it could take months for approval. This was the most frustrating and horrible home building/buying experience I have ever had. The construction was sub par. There were constant issues that needed correction. My husband was fixing an electrical issue within one week of closing/moving in that if had gone unnoticed could have started a fire. I will never buy from or recommend this company to anyone.

Instead of downsizing to a small beautiful ranch I feel like I have moved into a section 8 living house. My issues have been with dry walling, paint issues, seems like they used the cheapest paint and only put one coat, front door not sealed properly, back door was letting rain in, calking issue, HVAC issue, faulty smoke detector, plants that were dead in the front. The list goes on and on. I feel like I made a big mistake in buying this home. needless to say, I am very upset.

Many problems. Workmanship is poor. The overuse of caulk to hide cracks, gaps and repairs. One trade comes in and ruins the work of others. Windows, countertops, flooring, stove and doors scratched. Marginal material quality. Nail pops in drywall. Builder pushes to close prior to fixing issues and telling you they will fix it after closing. Paint went on where it shouldn’t and where it should go on it was insufficient. In some cases, It takes the trades 3 or 4 times to make it right. It has been a month since closing and still finding issues. This has not been a good experience.

I was greatly disappointed with Centex. While the models of homes I saw seemed built to standard and maximum code, I quickly discovered this to be false. In the Month of November when I arrived to ensure the framing, and roughed in plumbing and electrical were to code I discovered that Centex hires subpar “contractors” who disregard building safety code.
