I have lived in this home for 3 weeks and have had to put in 3 work orders. Most of my outlets do not work, I had a huge leak which caused my water to turn off. They were suppose to send out the irrigation people to fix it, this still has not happened. My backyard and front yard was supposed to be re-rolled. This has not happened. My oven does not work submitted a work order has yet to hear from the people about fixing it. My outlets under the sink did not work, so I couldn’t use mh garbage disposal, i had water backed up in my sink. It took over 2 weeks for someone to come fix it. My oulets are still not working. From start to finish, the experience was handled very professionally. The frontline sales associate was approachable and understanding, helping us make decisions that we still absolutely love. And she made keen suggestions based on our specific situation. The construction manager, who ran point during the latter end of the build, gave us accurate and precise timelines and information that was key to helping us plan accordingly. Needless to say, we have a ton of confidence that this team always performs at or above this level. Highly suggest this Carlson Place Georgetown Team if you are a first-time buyer, like we were. Also, if you are looking for a homebuilder who can navigate and handle the issues presented by industry shortages, freak Texas weather, and high demand for product, then Centex/Pulte should be at the top of your list. ... The sales portion of the experience can be improved. Communication was not the best from the sales agent. We would call and email several times before we got a response. The contractor was good. He was responsive and helpful.

Warranty issues that arose just now week after closing not adressed in a timely manner and no one takes responsibility.

Be patient and keep on top of the process to get the answers you need. They will give them to you and make your experience over the top

I ended up liking the end result, but getting there was barely worth it. it took almost a year from signing the initial contract to close. The sales people are completely clueless and will just say things they think you want to hear. I went in for a scheduled appointment more than once and they didn't remember who I was or why I was there and even pulled up the wrong account. I had to ask about closing weekly. the contract said July and I didn't close until almost September. half the time my emails were completely ignored. I was not even given an idea to plan about when to end my current lease. it was awful. The construction team was awesome though. They were better at communicating. ... More

I love the home. It's a huge upgrade from the apartment life we were living. However, the builders were told multiple times about issues that should have been fixed early. Instead walls had to be tore out the days before closing to get repaired. Multiple doors are installed crooked and won't stay open. Parts are missing from doors as well as hinges and door knobs poorly installed. Obviously there was a mad rush to slap together the rest of the home toward the end to finish in time for closing. Items still aren't done that were requested day of closing. Trim outside and inside is painted poorly and sloppily. Fence was never finished at the corner of the home. While I am happy with the house overall, the quality and care didn't exist. The employees we dealt with were lovely people however, I would never hire the painters or the cleaners for another job again. The amount of paint on our new carpet was ridiculous and the horrible cleaning job could have been done better by my 7 year old. As far as the build goes, time will tell. I believe the construction was done well other than the issues mentioned above. The sales agent, the building superintendent and the final closing superintendent were all nice and they kept us informed through the build. But there is a lot left to be desired for the final touches of the home. I am not sure I would recommend CENTEX in the future. Maybe if they slowed down toward the end and hired better painters and cleaners. ... More

Great from beginning to end.

The biggest issues we had while buying the house was that there was 2 times our loan got suspended and no one ever contacted us which pushed our closing date out an additional month. I had to call and check up on our loan because it went silent for a couple weeks and then was told, “oh well, you’re loan went suspended. It happens another time after that. I will say that towards the end of the actual time we closed, I know the lenders were working very hard to make it happen.

The builder was very responsive and respectful throughout the process. Great customer service!

Claudia was Uber patient with us as first time home buyers. We were pretty indecisive but ended up wanting the home. John was great at helping us through the process as well. He was responsive and would help with things even after we closed on the home because there are things you don't notice until after you move into the home. John took it upon himself to make sure everything was fixed and more.

It was great and would recommend people for sure! My sister is on her way to start building as well! Thanks for everything!

They're always there to answer questions. Ray and Quinn will answer your phone calls at anytime. That's wonderful. Even after closing my house, they still stop by to check if I'm doing okay. Not forget Michael and the tall guy with the maroon truck who are part of the company. That shows how cooperative , loving and togetherness there're. Total team work. Guys, continue with that spirit.

We were lucky to get a Dylan as the construction manager. He addressed all our concerns and also suggested improvements. I enjoyed working with him.

They did not provide the blue prints of the home witch made it very difficult to do home improvements ex add a water softener. They also said the home was pre wired for Cad6/Ethernet in every room which it was not.

We are so pleased with our Centex home in Summerlyn! From our initial experience with Nathan on the sales team, he was educational, quick to respond to any questions and assisted in helping us design a home we love. While we experienced delayed in the construction progress, that just comes with a new build, especially in today's construction climate. Our Project Manager, Tracer, was truly 10 out of 10. He was responsive, willing to help out however he could and had a great eye for attention to detail. We hired our own third party inspectors and the Centex team was easy to work with to schedule and were quick to respond to any details that were brought to our attention. We are so grateful for the team that we got for our New Build as that makes a world of difference. But we'd absolutely recommend Centex to our friends and family. ... More

Having my home built by Pulte has been a wonderful experience. The sales team, building team, finance team, and the closing team, were all a pleasure to work with. All team members were quick to respond with any questions I had. They walked me through the entire process. The weekly checkins were a huge help because I was not able to drive out to see the progress on a regular basis. I would highly recommend Pulte to build your next home. I cannot say enough good things about their entire team including Jessica, Shane, Sam, Ryan, Kenzie, Sophia, and Amy. They were all extremely knowledgable about each of their roles in this process and I fully trusted them to build a well constructed beautiful home. ... More

Working with Centex was great, and we are proud to call this house our home!

House was super dirty and paint was in a lot of my carpet they didn’t even clean. My bath tube is turning pink with 3 week use. Had to claim warranty to get trim and Cabinet fix and I shouldn’t have to do this on my first month move in. I had to walk the house 3 time with Lily and still didn’t get anything fix I don’t know why she wast my time and now I still have to get warranty to come out to fix it.

We’ve been in our home about a month and a half now and we love it. We have only had minimal issues as far as things that needed to be fixed after close, and those things were handled quickly under our warranty request. Overall, great build quality and fantastic communication from the site manager Lilly.

Going only by our experience, a home buyer needs to be diligent in following up with the builder’s field managers to ensure that the quality and construction of the new home is as perfect as the builder promised it would be at the time of purchase. We thought we did that and unfortunately it didn’t work out for us anyway. Moving into a new home is supposed to be a joyous experience, but for us it wasn’t because the builder did not fulfill the expected standards.
