The purchasing process was easy/simple. Some clarifications were needed and answered. The delivery of the house was on time and information was clear. Some findings after the tour that after 2 months still are not solved.

Because of the market trend, although Centex reduced prices of the homes that were to be delivered in Dec 2022 but they also reduced the quality of the electronic items they gave us and looking at bathrooms, living room it tells me that they tried to do cost cutting in quite a few places. The Eletrical Range, Dishwasher thats given to us looks to be open box as they both have issues opening and closing doors/drawers and the logo is half cut.

Recently I moved to Centex home at WinnRidge. The home buying process was smooth but the quality of the house is not up to the mark. The carpet is very thin and everywhere nails are there. Asked to fix the same but the manager told if they fix the nails it will remove the warranty. Really not happy with the process and product quality.

30 days after you move, everything changes. There may still be things to fix but you are forgotten about. Everyone becomes less responsive. Until you get nothing. I not talking 3-6 months. I’m talking 31-45 days.

Overall a cheap quality home. Everything in the home is basic and nothing is of great quality. Centex employees over promise and under deliver. I would never go for Centex again

Poor communication after closing. Difficult to get things fixed. If it needed to wait until 30 day inspection, that should have been communicated to us. Annoyed that grass was dead and did not root in, house was not properly cleaned or powerwashed outside prior to closing.

Overall good experience great builder and great sells person that we had. They have great customer service . Just not happy with the workmanship on the concrete. The driveway was poorly made and they said it was up to the standards. It doesn't look like a new drive way. Very cheaply poured. And paint is very cheap and if it scuffs. You can't clean the paint if you clean the scuff the paint comes right off. Some issues were addressed but the ones I am noting were up to the standard. Still haven't received my oven. The quality of workmanship on the house that I bought is marginal at best. I found several light switches outlet sockets that weren’t even grounded. When I went to put in my living room ceiling fan I removed the light fixture and found it was only held in by a half bent screw. I had to remove the whole thing and install a new one and that wasn’t even grounded; so much for quality assurance and inspections. The floor had to be ripped three times. The third time was actually after I closed on the house because they couldn’t get it done before closing, which intern prevented me from moving in ...

I did not have the best customer experience from the sales through the build experience. Once we signed the contract, we felt like a number and not a client. Poor communication throughout the process. We pointed out several build quality issues throughout build. Only closer of the build came in and tried to rectify the issues we pointed out and could provide honest answers and time frames.

I don't care about some of the petty rules the company made. I needed them to accommodate my schedule and not for me to accommodate theirs. This meeting all the time was not going to fit my schedule when email and texting would work. Don't state the obvious. I can read. They were way behind getting my home done and the excuse was that the shortage of what ever was the cause. Other houses started way after mine were being completed.
