Process was smooth and flowing

My overall experience, from the initial purchase to move-in, was mostly positive. The process experienced a few delays, but communication from the builder was generally clear and professional. The quality of the home is acceptable and likely aligns with my expectations for the price. Although some minor issues were reported and addressed by the builder, no significant problems have arisen since moving in. The builder’s team was responsive and mostly kept their promises. Nice location on hwy with beautiful homes

Firstly, when any company offers incentives, ask very specific questions. We were offered 5.5% AND $10,000 cash to do with what we want, well over half of that 10g’s went to buying down the interest, this was never disclosed. Centex dealt/deals with Pulte mort. Co a was an extremely unprofessional and frustrating process from beginning to end. I would not recommend Centex homes or Pulte financial group to anyone.

Everyone made this experience enjoyable for us! Hunter was a great builder to work with and tried his best to make sure we were satisfied with our home purchase. We love it!

Overall experience was not the best… communication was not great. I had a few issues come up and lack of communication. I was told if we have questions, someone would be an assistance. Had some landscaping issues, work order was placed and they showed up after 5 pm. Someone was suppose to be there to assist and communicate back with me because I was not home at the time of the appointment and no one was there to communicate to even let me know the work was done.

This company is competent and reliable.

Tawana and Daryl were the best sales and builder team! The explained everything thoroughly and were completely transparent, so I knew I could trust them through the process. I love my new home and due to the quality of the build and materials, I am sure to enjoy my home for many years to come. I have friends who purchased a Centex home, 15 years ago, and are very happy in their home all these years later. I would definitely recommend a Centex home.

The home buying experience for Pulte/Centex was not a pleasurable one that’s for sure. The entire financing process was a joke. People not responding, not reading through documents submitted, delayed reviews of time critical pieces of information, more than I care to write in this review. This was a fumbled, mismanaged and unprofessional way to handle people’s financing and overall one of the worst interactions I’ve had as a consumer. It didn’t stop there, on the building side of things, during our final walk through we noticed a worker decided to urinate in the master bedroom closet. The construction manager apologized and cleaned but hopefully replaced the carpet and the padding underneath. We found some things after we did our own inspection that needed to be fixed. For the most part those items were fixed. The swells on the side of the home are flat and pool water up. That has been the concern from day 1. Instead of fixing the issue Pulte warranty decided to send landscapers out to see the area.. Well it’s been about 3 weeks now and the problem persist, and the grass hasn’t grown. We had some minor electrical issues and drywall issues with the home after move in. The contractors came out and fixed them. Other than that it’s been me making trips to home depot to fix things as they’re discovered. Dealing with Pulte Warrenty has done nothing but waste my time / money waiting around for people to show up that don’t show up on time or don’t even show up at all. Overall I wouldn’t recommend buying a Pulte / Centex home. Sure this could be a bad experience from one person but when a company drops the ball in just about every phase of the home buying experience, it shows how unprofessional the company is and should caution potential buyers. It’s more than likely this review will not be seen but for those who do see it I encourage you to get financing elsewhere, hire an independent inspector and take what this builder says with a grain of salt and do your own research. ... Appliances not working sprinklers wrong equipment electrical plugs uneven will do an inspection before the year it’s over disappointing

The entire sales, title, and post sales support team at Centex are awesome. Very minor issues with home delivery, (paint scuffs, door lock fit, damaged threshold), all were resolved quickly and painlessly. I recommend Centex and the Pulte family of companies to all.

This is my second experience to buy home in Texas. Centex consultants are professional and have excellent communication skills during the process of purchase.

This is a great starter home but they do cheap out on materials. For instance, they use plastic nozzles and valves for the water line for fridge, washer/dryer, toilet shut off and under the sinks. So its more likely to wear and break easier. The workmanship on the baseboards and trims are questionable. Builder was very helpful in the beginning but also will just say things and not follow through. So that is frustrating.

The experience was great, everyone we worked with was very helpful, we love our home so far!

Overall sales process and the walk through process was very good. Morrgage team and the process need to improve so much.

I feel like I was pushed into thinking all the issues at each walk through would be completed and any issues would be fixed asap. The only person who has been great so far and actually communicates is Doug my service manager. My electrician no showed for a outlet that is missing which is a code violation. Made me miss a work day using PTO even after confirming that morning! My upstairs tub leaks but thankfully Doug is working on that finally after Dallas just ignored the issue since one week after moving in the home. The pain comes off with one wipe on every wall. The exterior doors have to be slightly cracked in order to actually lock them. Doug is also working on that but I have to wait and see if he comes through unlike the incident with the electrician "who was coming". Steer clear because the whole neighborhood group on social media is talking and nothing but complaints with the new homes that should not be an issue for a new home. Also, Taylor isn't any better when my realtor reached out to him/her they said someone would come look at the issue and well lets just say, that NEVER HAPPENED. Really enjoyed the process and was seamless.

The builder was good as well, they need work on time management in case the house finish before scheduled time to help the buyer.
