Working with Jordan, Keith, and Bruce was great! They were knowledgeable and responsive.

The paint in the backyard is very bad, the siding , isn’t painted well the carpenters didn’t use the headless nails that go in. The nailheads are are all showing around the window sills they used to rough of boards around the windows that should have been sanded & puttied. There are pits in my new siding paint already coming off because it needed another coat of paint. Also around windows they weren’t to good at puttying they just slopped int on here and there. Also why in the world would you put a door on backward? It opens out, the hinges are on the outside of the door,not very safe. The wind catches the door some times when you go outback and takes you with it. Door should open to the inside not out. Also I thought this house was suppose to be for the disabled,? Inside yes but all doors have a good 4 inch drop coming in or going out. My son in law lives here also it is very dangerous to get his walker in or out of the house,because of those steps. I have reported these things to Kevin, and I think he’s trying to fix what can be fixed,as of yet nobody has came to repaint siding or repute hopefully we are on the list. The experience I had with my bind at home was quick and fast Jordan was very helpful and cousin the house sooner than I was expected. And Patrick was very helpful with all the details I need to be done and him pointing out things I need to be done help a lot. And Patrick up to this point has always stopped by and check see if everything was OK with the hous.

This was a smooth process for my first home buying experience. You truly have to be prepared and ready for this process. They ask for so much information and you have to be ready. I would recommend Centex for anyone looking to purchase a home through them.

The night we closed, about 20 minutes after we walked into the house for the first time, I found a leak in the wall. Supposedly there was an issue with a piece of the back siding, so the hose bib needed to be removed in order to complete repairs. After the hose bib was replaced, it wasn’t screwed back on tight enough so water was leaking in the wall for an unknown amount of time. Drywall was damaged, insulation was soaked, and a considerable amount of water was seeping up from under the floor which was how the leak was discovered. Subsequently, the floor in the entire house needed to be replaced. It took exactly 1 month for all necessary repairs to be made which was an unacceptable amount of time. Granted, everything got finished, but the lack of urgency displayed to us when it came to getting our issues taken care of was very disappointing. ... More

It was a great experience being a first time buyer. Our construction managers Darryl and Patrick were awesome!

I had a great experience throughout the building process. I was constantly updated about the progress, materials and inspection done on the property to ensure quality. I could have wished to have more time with Patrick during handover but he was really busy and had to squeeze me I to his schedule. But overall he assured me that if I needed any help I should call Centex. My family loves the home and I hope it will last long enough to raise our children here. Thank you.

The Centex team was very professional and helpful. After searching for several months for a home, the Centex team was a refreshing change. The process went quickly and everything was just as they said it would be with no surprises.

Buying and sales experience was very smooth and construction manager was keep updating us throughout process. But we close last month and we already have a huge underground leak costing us high water bill. Warranty is very slow to respond and after multiple emails and calling on emergency numbers finally they start taking this leak seriously. I hope it gets fixed anytime soon.

I have a lot to appreciate this company like the neighborhood and the house manager(Mark) are two of the main things I would like to appreciate Mark has really great responsive tendencies he is always there to help with issues and even if he can’t he always tries his best to satisfy customer and for that I would like to thank him. Something that left me with a sour taste in my mouth is the fact that after 30 of you moving in they are supposed to come to do a walk though in your house and that is a part of the contract but they never showed up. we I did I told them that when I moved in my grass in the back yard was not leveled and looked horrible but when I told them about it they kept telling me somebody will come to fix it and I would wait but no one would show it took me having to keep to call them every single day then when they did send someone the said that they didn’t have enough material to fix it and he never came back and now I’m stuck with this big backyard that is not leveled and honestly looks horrible. ... Love my new home. I'm enjoying it.

Skylar, Mark, and Ani embodied the definition of responsiveness, punctuality and transparency. They were all easy to do business with. Brian on the other hand seemed quite untrained, unresponsive, and frankly misleading (talking in circles without it giving a straight answer specifically). Although I do not hold Brian accountable to his lack of training, that’s his management teams job. He is responsible for taking ownership of providing clear and concise data, which he did not do without a push every conversation. Overall, I would rate the entire experience a 4 out of 5 stars.

Everything they said they will do was done, communication was awesome. The quality of the materials is great our house is comfortable and the area is peaceful

My wife and I were very pleased with the build process with Centex. They clearly outlined the process and stuck to that plan. Throughout we verified their work with an independent inspector and were pleased with the confirmation of their good craftsmanship, especially compared to other local builders. Despite delays with materials and labor, Centex did a great job of keeping us within 2-3 weeks of the original timeline. At our final walkthrough, there were a number of minor issues that were identified and we were given a 1-business-week timeline for them to be repaired. Almost 45 days post closing, these still have not been repaired, while some additional issues were caused by subcontractors that were repairing an item. Both our construction manager and our customer care manager have not committed to addressing these issues. After conferring with neighbors facing similar situations, the post-close experience has not been anything like the initial build experience. ... More

The seller and builder kept me updated weekly.

We love our house and was surprised at the space it provided. What I didn’t like was the uneven lawn. Don’t think the ground was lacked really good and the sod was not laid very good. Drive corner broken and splattered cement on garage floor.

We had a really great experience building our home with Centex. We had weekly progress meetings so we never felt like we were in the dark about anything. I had my own realtor so I didn't engage with the sales rep Kristi much but whenever I did she was always very pleasant. It was our builders Patrick, Darl, and Justin are truly who made our first home purchase an awesome experience. The were always very responsive and sooo nice. They took the time to explain every step and process in detail no matter how many times they had to do so. Because of this I KNOW our home was built well and with care. They almost felt like family by the end of the process. Even after living in the home for awhile they still will check on us as they drive by. I've heard horror stories about building especially in this market but I'm glad to say we had a VERY smooth process. ... More
