Our builder Rick was very informative during the process of the building and finishing of the house. the last time we met with him, he told me to contact him first if i found any issues that needed to be repaired or replaced. he mentioned that it would be easier to get him to fix the problem instead of submitting a ticket to customer care. i messaged him a couple times with minimal response, and at the end he just said submit a ticket. i appreciate him trying to make me feel like i could count on him(which i know he is supper busy and would not be able to do so) maybe just leave the "call me first" out. this was our first brand new home, so of course we wanted someone there at all times. like i said other than this, everything else was good. he was very professional and informative. ... I love my house but there have been some minor things and major thing that have been disappointing. The major thing is my house is full of roaches, I’ve never had roaches before and now I am finding them all over. It’s making my living experience nearly unbearable.

poor quality and should have basic home appliances

After the closing of the house , the sales agent doesn’t reply the general question. I had some mails coming . I just texted back to my agent . No reply . At he could have said he doesn’t know about that or talk to different person . No reply at all. Like we don’t have no relationship once his sale is completed .

Floors could be laid better pieces coming up.. the HOA is disgusting .. the trees are ugly and the lighting not over the address is stupid..

The builder was great, communication was awesome! The overall process was a great experience for my spouse and I as we are first time home-buyers!

My overall experience with Centex was great. We had to deal with some issue regarding some building codes violated, and we got the house 5 months later than expected, but the sales consultant(Amy) was taking care of us all the time and showed us more than a business relationship. Regarding the final product(house), we liked it, we are so happy with it. Michael was the guy in charge and he did an amazing job.

Still can’t believe that they didn’t include grass in the backyard, this is such a burden to deal with after just buying the house

From the sales agent to the construction manager (at sunterra) the people have been great to talk to. Everyone is proud to work for centex and it is easy to see why

Unfortunately, l was not able to be present throughout the construction process, but Justin kept me informed of everything through out the entire process. Justin is very dependable and responsive to any request fairly quickly. I was very nervous as this is my first home but with all the information given to me by Justin I felt as ease and everything was seamless. In addition to Justin, Pat was alway pleasantly and readily available to answer and clarify any questions I had. I would like to thank Justin and Pat for helping go through this process smoothly.

The entire home buying process was very pleasant. They sent timely updates. They paid attention to details. Very professional team, delivered a great product.

Our builder was super nice and personable. She herself owns a Centex home and wanted the best for our home owning experience.

Brad and Alex were super excellent!! My home is beyond amazing. We used Pulte Mortgage (that experience was not so pleasant, which almost ruined the entire experience) Overall I love my house and it was all worth it.

Everything went pretty smooth till the last day- felt very rushed by builder to get my signature, there were several issues that were supposed to get addressed that took a long time and several calls and e-mail to get them come out- doesn’t make sense since there’s other house being built on the same subdivision- I know they are busy but so am I- work should of been done right before closing- there’s still things that stand out like paint discoloration

Great experience with timely communication.

I have called the office regarding breaks/deep cracks in the garage that should be repaired before the cracks get larger. If I bought a car and didn’t see the dents until I got home, the car would be returned for another car or the dents repaired. I could put cement down to repair the cracks but I paid for a new house without cracks and holes. There is a space between the back of the kitchen cabinet and the wall. The back post was defective; it was taken down and replaced. For the 4th of July holiday there was no type of celebration for this community; the pool has not been opened and nothing has been said about when it will be available for the community to swim. I thought there would be flyers regarding community activities, but there has been nothing. ... More

love my new house !! since day 1 everything was great excellent service

Whoever approved the bathroom design, had no interest in quality. The cheapest paint is throughout the house. And around the tub. It can get wet or washes off of the wall. ?? Who approved this as a family home. White walls that you can not whipe clean? The finish work is terrible, chunks of debris painted into floor boards. Floor is rubber and thinner then card stock. Very disappointed in the quality of work. The lack of care or attention to detail is appalling. It would be nice if issues got addressed properly. Or done correctly the first time.

Home buying experience with Centex was better than I expected. The construction team was awesome and sales office team was great! They demonstrated a great first impression. Process was easy, hassle free. Homes are well built, quality products. We are very pleased!
