I had no issues having access to the home while it was being build. Any issues were address promptly. They did their best when we had a conflict with the closing date and getting the walkthrough timely.

The best ever, really love it

The community is awesome but I’m already having nasty cracking and water damage in the bathroom due to improper sealing. The wall is literally caving in and I’ve been here only one month. Whoever finished my master bathroom was really lazy

The buying process with Centex was virtually painless, they walked me through every step of the way. The construction manager was awesome and returned my calls when requested to do so. My only suggestion is to pay attention to small details, I didn’t realize the lack of storage as there’s only one storage closet near the master and none for the secondary bedrooms. Also there could be more cabinets and better flooring. I understand the use and said durability of LVT flooring, but the glue doesn’t adhere well and a click and lock system or wood look tile would have been better suited for the home. Aside from these things I am pretty happy with my purchase although the home I purchased was nearly completed when I picked it and wasn’t aware that sod was not included in the backyard and due to the stage in building I was not allowed to add it. The application process was weird, it was on a first come first served basis on a established release date and time by the builder, whoever responded to the email first got to but the house. No upgrades or design changes (ex: cabinets, floors/tile, etc) were allowed. House didn't come with backyard sod or gutters. Putting all this aside,the Centex team was great, responsive and on top of their business, they made the process smooth and kept constant communication with us.

Overall our experience with Centex was really smooth and effortless but I think it had a lot to do with our build manager, Kolby. We haven’t had any problems since but others haven’t been so fortunate. Through the build process some of my neighbors and friends really had some problems that they had to jump through hoops to get fixed or the warranty department has been a nightmare to work with. Like I mentioned before we haven’t had any problems yet and hopefully don’t but hopefully they can step up and do better all around for the community.

The whole purchase process was acceptable, the bad thing was the communication from the field manager, he did not report that the house would change the position of the garage from left to right.

Being in the home building industry years back, I know what to look for in the craftsmanship in a new home and the contractors being used on these homes are not skilled in their trade, at least in my case, they weren't. Overall the home buying experience was easy and everyone was very transparent and understanding.

The overall process was smooth and great, we received updates and communication was open. There is small issues we noticed after moving in that have yet to be resolved. We have not had anyone “checking” in on these issues.

This was a brand-new build. Initially, I expereinced what I thought was a smooth and exceptional purchasing expereince; however, after having purchased my hone, I quickly realized the shoddy workmanship and inferior builder materials used. Once I reported my concerns, the fixed issues were left incomplete/half done, less than anyone would have expected. Warped flooring, exterior doors not fitting leaving gaps, hoses to washing machine drainage not installed correctly leaving water gushing from my upstairs floor to my downstairs living room. The warranty callout for a badly installed vinyl floor took so long and after they eventually secured and got me waiting for a whole day, no one showed up or even called back. I had to put in another ticket. Not sure how they will respond on more serious issues if they took this long to work on this minor issue.

The sales experience was great. The craftsmanship of the home and turn around time to fix things are horrible. I moved in to my new home in September and it is now November. With in this time period I have had electrical and plumbing issues. Cracked kitchen cabinets that still are not fixed and most recently my garage collapsed and almost smashed my wife’s car as she was casually leaving the house.

The home buying process is stressful at times not going to lie. And although we had some bumps in the road I am so glad we stayed the course. We had a pleasant experience with everyone involved, with the exception of our Loan Consultant, however everyone else really rallied together to try and make up for that shortcoming. Since closing, the customer care team has been wonderful! I have been referring all of my friends and family in search for homes to Centex/Pulte! Just do it! Whatever questions you have ask. They showed up when expected. Followed up with a call the following day to see if everything was done properly

I lowered the overall homebuilding experience for two reasons 1. The close date was pushed due to water tap issues and it wasn't explained that there would be issues. 2. I purchased a spec home that hadn't started vertical construction and Michele our sales agent stated that we were unable to make any changes to options in the home. We had to get special permission from management to add a smart home package, but I don't understand why that should've needed permission. A hassle in the sales process. Dusty, Brad, and Michele were EXCELLENT and very helpful throughout the process. Dusty was so accommodating and went above and beyond to help us out. We have been in our house for about a month and a half and so far everything is good , Weston was a great help during and after the closing resolving minor issues very quickly.

The experience with Centex Home is awesome!

Great house. The building of house on the street can be a little ruff at times the contractors work long hours. We love the house and the neighborhood.

Everyone from start to finish was real nice and responded quickly when we questions/issues. The only issue we had was the ac was not cooling at our inspector walk through and wa supposed to be fixed piror to closing. But 2 weeks later on our closing date, it was still not fixed. They pushed our signing appointment time back a few hours and got ac working. It's been running great ever since. I just feel like they dropped the ball a little bit since they knew about the issue. Myself and my partner had a great experience with the sale agent Grace Shipp. She took her time ensuring that we purchased the best home for our family. She fought to get all the necessary incentives given by the builder. Since living here we have call repair and they respond very quickly. Megan in the warranty department is awesome. Now I did not use there lender Pulte and I must say beware of stress if you choose to. Pulte mortgage is the absolute worst lender to deal with in any buying process

Really easy and helpful people at centex. They explain how everything works and makes it very easy for you.

As everyone knows purchasing a new home can be nerve wrecking. After all the hiccups were cleared, Centex was wonderful with helping the closing process move smoothly and fast. Mrs. April was AWESOME ; Courteous & Professional. She was so helpful and patient. I Love My New Home!!! Thank you Centex.

Overall its okay but they can do a alot better. Centex can improve alot by spending little more money. For example. By installing better looking electric on off switches. Putting vanity with drawers and vanity lights.. Floors are the cheapest possible that centex could find..it's only been two months plus in this house and Floors already are forming waves. Other then that it looks okay , the house looks solid and hopefully will stays solid..I like NY house but definitely have to spend some money to add or replace those low cost materials that is been installed. All I am saying is that Centex can do alot more by putting little better and modern looking details. Overall I like my house. ... More
