Overall it was a good experience. Wish I had more time for corrections and walk throughs. I still believe I would go through it all again because everyone that I have spoken to has always been willing to help.

Chid and Brian has helped us along the way…if there is an issue with something involving the home then they respond has soon as possible

Our house is a great home have had some minor issues with the workmanship but everything has been getting resolved. Warranty is really way to work with.

Centex builders ensure homes are well built and affordable. All in all I would say I got great value for money paid considering its been a seller's market for a while now.

Cheap materials were used in this home and did close with some issues but builder did address all of them after closing. This helped improve the score from 3 to 4 stars

These are nice homes for first time home owners. The communication is lacking when fixing issues. I still have yet to have my dining room window replaced. Also there are noticeable blemishes i.e. not straight corners— you can tell they are slightly warped when they get closer to the floor. And some blue tape items have yet to be fixed and I closed on my home 2/14/20. It is now 3/30/20. But otherwise, the price is good and the no closing costs and USDA option is amazing for first time home buyers. Overall I would recommend the Windrow community to others looking into buying a home. It’s very quiet and pleasant. No crazy drivers or neighbors so far. And there’s a nice public park across the street. I do however wish there was going to be a pool built in the subdivision. Floors could be laid better pieces coming up.. the HOA is disgusting .. the trees are ugly and the lighting not over the address is stupid..

This was my first Centex home. The salesperson was nice but slow to follow up with answers to questions. The finance reps in Tx and CO were exceptional once I understood neither office communicated with the other but the process was smooth compared to my last house. They receive 5 stars for that process. Justin, my field manager was beyond exceptional. He was extremely informative, texted photos of the building process and put my mind at ease. As for the craftsmanship, I found a few small errors that were corrected after I moved in and the others I hope will be completed at the 11 month mark. My only complaint is the shrubs died.. I was told on 3 occasions by the new field manager they would be replaced but as of today (9/14/21) it has not been replaced. I have 4 obvious empty holes in the flowerbed. The new guy Jason has been great and has a sense of humor. I must say I have been fortunate to have 3 of the best neighbors one could have. Overall im satisfied.

Outside of the buying experience, which was amazing, and working with the builder, who was on site at the time everything else has been very poor quality. I have several issues or just the ongoing with no timelines and no consistent. Follow up. I’m hoping things improve, but I have already had to spend quite a bit of my own personal money which may not get reimbursed to get things working like my garage door like my washing machine like my security system on and on and on. And for the record, the siding and landscaping was done horribly to begin with, and it shows to this day, which means I will have to spend more money to get that corrected. And all I’m not too unhappy with my purchase. I’m grateful things could be better. I hope my input will be used to spare of the next homeowners the same headaches thank you. ... More

The sales and closing team were a breeze to work with and provided great value to the experience. Some issues with the process include a lack of flexibility for any options (such as using alternative light switches), and issues that were noticed and pointed out during the construction process not being acknowledged until final walk through, (a framing issue would have been better to fix when noticed before hanging sheetrock so all the texture matches). And 6 weeks after the closing there are still outstanding issues now in warranty that have yet to be resolved. The house is very nice and well priced. However, the quality of work is pretty poor. The concrete slab is uneven and there are lumps all over the down stairs floor. Large lumps, like you can see AND feel when you walk. Several of the baseboards are bowed in or out significantly enough to notice immediately, and all of the pre-wired fan switches are all not terminated correctly. One of the three-way switches had a hot leg on both ends and kept the wires in the ceiling live no matter the switch combination I tried. Fortunately I have electrical experience and didn't get shocked!

The overall homebuying experience was great. No complaints there. However, once I closed and moved in to my new home it was near impossible to get anyone on the phone that could actually resolve my issues. Then, the information that I did receive was insufficient or completely wrong. I have been in my home for 3 1/2 months and continue to receive the run around. Each representative I speak with passes the buck and no one seems to have the answers or want to assist. So, if you value a community with representatives that actually respond and care about your concerns, look elsewhere.

I have called the office regarding breaks/deep cracks in the garage that should be repaired before the cracks get larger. If I bought a car and didn’t see the dents until I got home, the car would be returned for another car or the dents repaired. I could put cement down to repair the cracks but I paid for a new house without cracks and holes. There is a space between the back of the kitchen cabinet and the wall. The back post was defective; it was taken down and replaced. For the 4th of July holiday there was no type of celebration for this community; the pool has not been opened and nothing has been said about when it will be available for the community to swim. I thought there would be flyers regarding community activities, but there has been nothing. ... More

Whoever approved the bathroom design, had no interest in quality. The cheapest paint is throughout the house. And around the tub. It can get wet or washes off of the wall. ?? Who approved this as a family home. White walls that you can not whipe clean? The finish work is terrible, chunks of debris painted into floor boards. Floor is rubber and thinner then card stock. Very disappointed in the quality of work. The lack of care or attention to detail is appalling. It would be nice if issues got addressed properly. Or done correctly the first time.

Mediocre experience, small let downs throughout process Builder non responsive

Its a nice house but definitely could have been done better. Lots of details that could have been done better. I have had to call several times already for repairs and work and I have just been here less than 2 months.

Called the office and spoke with Jennifer regarding the AC Unit area there was concrete dug up and left there and that was supposed to be cleaned up before I moved in, they took 3 to 4 weeks to do it, also they still didn’t do the job the area around the AC Unit is not paved done like my neighbors to the left or right of me, also there were deep holes in my backyard that I didn’t even see they came and put down old grass that looks like a haystack and it’s going back to the deep holes. I hope that you can send somebody out to see the terrible work that has been done like they don’t care about a brand new property that they are being paid by the hour to do. I love my house but there have been some minor things and major thing that have been disappointing. The major thing is my house is full of roaches, I’ve never had roaches before and now I am finding them all over. It’s making my living experience nearly unbearable.

Aaron is a great manager and good leader but the minor fixes, cleanup, vinyl floor application from his team members needs improvement.. saw a lot of wood dust in a lot of corners, paint on carpet, etc. For this big investment there shouldn’t be anything spotted.. I am quite picky but everyone isn’t so overall it is okay experience with builder team.
