CONSISTENT AC ISSUES

This builder put too small of an AC unit on my home and we are having CONSTANT issues with it. The unit struggles just to keep the home at 75 degrees. Now we are having a lot of condensation and what appear to be mold either growing or about to start. They always send a tech out with Houck AC and they put a “bandaid” fix on it and tell me everything is running properly. Sure it’s running properly, but it’s too small for this home. I have 1800 sqft and a 2 ton ac unit, it’s just not cooling the home. Also I had an unpleasant conversation with a warranty manager where he pretty much told me “I ...

From the day we went under contract until now, we are having repeated issues and lack of problems being resolved quickly. We closed and got keys. We were given keys that did not even work. The following day we noticed: We had one toilet seat cover not even attached, the master bathroom window had a crack, the master bathroom toilet bowl seat cover cracked in half, and we were not getting hardly any air flow into the master bedroom and their was water sitting in the bottom of our dryer. Everyone from start to finish was real nice and responded quickly when we questions/issues. The only issue we had was the ac was not cooling at our inspector walk through and wa supposed to be fixed piror to closing. But 2 weeks later on our closing date, it was still not fixed. Everything from the first time I walked into the showroom to the follow up a month later was flawless the building supervisor, Weston, and his team were fantastic. They took care of everything that we needed to be fixed in a timely manner and kept in contact with us. Even our realtor, Michelle. Became instant friends with us. We are enjoying our new home and the amenities that come in Mavera.

Affordable home however a few issues

Builder did not plan out street well, and built everything except lot next to me. Now dealing with contractors who work past dark 10 pm, through nails and roofing materials on my property and refuse to clean up. Also when I was sold house the house model was full brick. Now realizing mine is only 25%, so discouraged that this would happen, without agent indicating this. Also homes for sale are not cared for yards not mowed for weeks, and trash from contractors every where. Myself and my partner had a great experience with the sale agent Grace Shipp. She took her time ensuring that we purchased the best home for our family. She fought to get all the necessary incentives given by the builder. Since living here we have call repair and they respond very quickly. Megan in the warranty department is awesome. Now I did not use there lender Pulte and I must say beware of stress if you choose to. Pulte mortgage is the absolute worst lender to deal with in any buying process

For starters, pulte mortgage fumbled the entire loan process from beginning to end, leaving me to figure out how to get approved by the guidance of a completely independent loan officer outside of PMC. My yard was never graded correctly and it has caused my back yard CLOSEST to my patio to become a swamp. I was told that as long as the water wasn't standing after 24 hrs that it was fine. I can't even walk through my gate to my back yard a WEEK after it rains because it's still a mud hole. You can see with the naked eye that there are spots that would hold water because of the way it was graded. Like pools graded into my yard. I submitted a request for the repair almost a month ago and still have not had repairs done. They sent someone out, marked the areas, and never came back.

If this entire process was in the hands of Todd D alone, then I would have given a 5-star rating for all fields and for the entire process. Alas, such is not the case. He is only one man.
